Based on the knowledge gained during joint development of their recent titles, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware seek to deliver a new action game. By combining FromSoftware’s longstanding expertise in mech games and their signature robust gameplay, ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON will be a new action experience.
In ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, players will assemble and pilot their own mech with 3D maneuverability to move freely through three dimensional fast-paced missions. Take on difficult challenges and overwhelm your enemies with dynamic movements that make full use of ranged and melee combat. Players can enjoy a variety of actions that can only be truly realized with mechs.
A mysterious new substance was discovered on the remote planet, Rubicon 3. As an energy source, this substance was expected to dramatically advance humanity’s technological and communications capabilities. Instead, this substance caused a catastrophe that engulfed the planet and the surrounding stars in flames and storms, forming a Burning Star System.
Almost half a century later, the same substance resurfaced on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and sealed off by the catastrophe.
Extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance groups fight over control of the substance. The player infiltrates Rubicon as an independent mercenary and finds themself in a struggle over the substance with the corporations and other factions.

I love how distinct and full of personality the characters are. Conveying their individuality solely through voice and AC design without being able to see the character itself is something difficult but AC once again delivers.

I remember playing the older playstation Armored core games with friends. Had started with chunky mechs but eventually we all had to transition to light, lightning mechs because one of the group was just so damn good and fast, in anything else he'd just run circles around us and it was a no-contest. His callsign was MadDog, second player was L.O.D. and mine was Runamock.
Loving it. Spent 2 hours on ch1, and another 6 on the garage ❤

I played a little bit last night and wasn't particularly impressed. I'm at work right now, and all I'm thinking is going home and playing AC. Gg fromsoft lol

The fight with Index Dunham is literally a Metal Hear Solid 2 reference where Solidus Snake is fighting 3 Metal Gears and he calls them armored coffins! The other reference to Metal Gear is the Shinobi ac being the cyber ninja from mgs!
Hey guys I realized something: In Attack the Dam Complex, There's this one AC right at the end before you blow up the last objective you have to kill to get the Gold Battle Log. I been trying for quite some time to get the arm CB got. I mean the silver is easy but it is easy to miss the Gold Battle Log. You must get all the logs to get the part. BTW when you get the Gold Battle Log the guy says "AC destroyed" This confirms your Gold Log.
This will ve a Let's Play for the ages!

on the First Mission in this Video, there are 2 Battlelog to obtain! One is in the East Dam and the other one is just below the last Objective, a Next Pilot you have to defeat!

The big laser from The Eye, on approach I had to make liberal use of the Overboost to dodge it. When I tried Quick, it just wouldn't get out of the way in time. And yea, I discovered that cover wasn't an option quick. You did better on the leg than me. I had went under it and tried to climb or shoot up. It did not work well.
Linear rifles made that part easy get behind it and snipe its leg.
Next we’ll have mercenaries in mechs who get hired by corporations to destroy it

🤔 i dont think theres loot. you gain stuff from beating missions tho. i beat all of chapter one and didnt just find random loot. but beating missions even if not mandatory i unlocked mech guns and stuff from that.
U can find part containers starting from the first mission of chapter 2. I've found 3 so far, but I don't think they're in every mission

@@GamerWelfareso for me the bosses are challenging but not hard Balteus on the other hand is a hard skill check.
I hate how they lock behind the extra information panel so many important stats like missile lock on time. .4 seconds is fine but 4 seconds lock on time is not, if you don't look at those bonus stats you can really screw yourself in combat.
Dang I never really paid attention to those details. Glad you pointed it out before I go even further in the game
