Great video. Good to see the German version too. Flites new battery, the Flitecell Explore Ti also features Phase Change Material (PCM) for improved safety and thermal runaway management. New 21700 cells are larger, and should also have increased cycle count over older generations. Withstands drop tests to 2m.

Is it possible to do a comparison of their startup and ride quality? Wing characteristics? I watched this and sort of felt you preferred the quality of the Fliteboard in regards to it's unboxing and presentation. But what about the operation and feel? thx...

Never tried either brand, but I'd prefer Fliteboard of the two, especially after the recent 2.2 announcement. I'd love to hear the difference in sound reduction Flite mentioned in this announcement. Lift *was* much quieter than Flite, but that concern may have been eliminated.
I love simplicity along with functionality, Flite board appears to fit this more. The electronics and cable connections of Flite is a good example. FOIL and Waydoo have very different but super simple Single connection. Other brands should simplify to 2 or less connections. The safety phase changing material I believe was first used in FOIL batteries. Love seeing the invitations of each brand and between brands. Pushing themselves and inspiring one another.

Great video showing both brands! One question: does the Fliteboard controller float? If not, I think that is a good distinction to convey.

Is the Foil brand board less buoyant than the Lift? I had ridden a few left boards and then purchased a flight board in the longer version actually. When I’m in the water starting a ride, it seems too much more easily submerge than the lift did. I’m wondering if that’s your experience?
It’s a little concerning because there’s specific instructions are to make sure that the battery door does not get submerged, but I find that nearly impossible

The battery department can be submerged, but never open the battery compartment in the water. You can compare the volumes in our eFoil comparison: e-surfer.com/en/comparison/efoil/

Flite is better in every detail. Except battery handle.

I got to say the first company that comes to their senses and lowers their prices that are absolutely ridiculous to Target the market the main stream recreational boat people are going to be millionaires! You can't tell me these are flying off the shelves at that absolutely stupid price they put these at hell I saw the jet boat with 750 horsepower holds six to eight people with trailer for slightly less than one of these boards. I could actually afford one of these but I absolutely refuse to pay that much money for next to nothing material wise.

Custom handmade carbon board and premium electronic components are very expensive. Premium high discharge Li-ion cells are not cheap either. If you sum it all up the prize can indeed be justified.
Jet boat is funny for max 10 minutes, then boring for the infinite future.

Lift looks like it was designed by a grade-schooler in comparison. I hope they cost a lot less than Fliteboard!
