Love this & seeing copper on the road with you. So cool!
I love that old man!
Looks like fun times and good food!
I'm happy winter finally showed up! Thanks for watching!
thanks for the info on the awning. Im looking at getting one to add to my chevy avalanche roof rack and im in West Texas where wind is an every day occurance. I was curious how it would hold up to high winds. Im also considering getting the awning room to go with it. Seems to be a good value
It did great! Check out my other awning vid I have the room also and got caught Inna small hail storm!
How long does it take you to get up the mountain in your van? Lots of traffic or smooth sailing?
I usually give myself a 2 hour time frame from riverside but it's usually about an hour and 45 minutes depending on traffic. If you can get up before the families start moving your golden.. or wait till after 12
Hows that Webasto treating you? Im considering the STC 2000 vs the Evo 40. Do you feel like the Evo 40 is too much heater?
its treating me great, I had a problem with my renogy battery, but not that that's sorted out this thing is mint. my van isn't insulated at all so the 40 is perfect. I got the gas version and tapped the stock tank . I go skiing and come back for lunch.. no snow piles up on the windows and the inside is 60F its one of the best investments I've made this one has the auto elevation control also
@@DadVanture hmmm I'm looking at the self heating renogy battery too... did you do a video about your battery problems?
@LoveTribeOverland yea a few videos back I ended up getting the self heating chins battery from amazon.. same options, about 130 cheaper.. renogy customer service rubbed me the wrong way so I decided to vote with my dollar and go elsewhere and save some money.. ended up taking the extra cash and buying a used 100ah non bluetooth so now I have 200AH!
