I once watched a bushcrafter make his dog sleep outside the tent in really crummy weather. It was the first and last time I watched his channel. I'm not a fanatical animal lover, but there was just no reason for it, there was room in the tent. I like it when the fire gets lit, then I know man and pet are going to be warm & cozy. 👍🏻
I am no dog expert, but I watched a video of a Siberian husky kennel, and all the dogs slept outside because their coats were winterized and apparently warm temperature can be bad for a winterized dog coat. The huskies all had a layer of ice around them that insulated body heat, and they looked as happy as a dog could be when it was time to go sledding
Even for doggies who can sleep outside in freezing temperatures.....I always make sure my babies can come in when it gets too cold. There is no need to behave as a typical, ugly, human. There is a point when ALL mammals need to be brought inside.

The feeling of sleeping the whole night in a tent with a cosy bed, cooked food, a fire warming the area up. 6. Your snoring dog showed how tired he was. 7. That is a beautiful German Shepherd, a wonderful companion!! But giving him chicken bones is setting yourself up for a potential disaster. Chicken bones are hollow and they splinter that’s lodging in the dogs, esophagus or stomach. Many people have lost their pets over that.

У нас алабай занимает много места в палатке, но всё равно спит с нами. И с ним теплее .А еще хочу сказать как опытный собачник, что мясо собаке лучше не варить. PSA to all those watching! Dont give your dogs cooked chicken bones. It can splinter and get caught in their digestive system, causing serious internal damage. Chicken bones are more brittle than beef or pork bones. If you want to feed bones, do it raw and supervise your dog. Also, what was up with the guy dumping his bread on the ground on his way out of the campsite? Take your trash with you when you spend time outdoors!
I was looking for this comment!!! I absolutely agree. As soon as bones are cooked they will splinter. Either feed the chicken and bones raw or if the chicken is cooked: debone it. And obviously: never leave a trace behind in nature. Take your trash with you. Otherwise it was a lovely and relaxing video

PSA to all those watching! Dont give your dogs cooked chicken bones. It can splinter and get caught in their digestive system, causing serious internal damage. Chicken bones are more brittle than beef or pork bones. If you want to feed bones, do it raw and supervise your dog. Also, what was up with the guy dumping his bread on the ground on his way out of the campsite? Take your trash with you when you spend time outdoors!

As soon as bones are cooked they will splinter. Either feed the chicken and bones raw or if the chicken is cooked: debone it.
And obviously: never leave a trace behind in nature. Take your trash with you.
Otherwise it was a lovely and relaxing video
