Always love how you explain what you're doing. I have used a few saws but never Chinese. My grandpa dealed pioneer so kinda biased lol. But I have ran most of the big names. Though Husqvarna was sorta my favorite. Glad to see you take care of your stuff.
Can you give me a link to where you bought the fuel line? This is not an easy job due to the way the carb is mounted. What I did was put the right side bolt in without the air cleaner part, then I could pivot the carb to hook up the hoses. Then I put the left one in with the air horn loose, removed the right and put it through both. This saw is OK but the chain oil leaks pretty bad and I think it would be a bitch to fix it.
