This was the best video showing how to connect fuel lines to the correct component. All others left me guessing. Thanks guys, good job!

Took me two days working on the fuel lines trying to figure out where those hoses went. Thanks for video. Your description is slow, but it's 100 times better than the others I watched. The others made me more and more frustrated. Especially the shaky videos and lacking description.
    Thanks so much!

This video was gangbusters! I looked at many other videos that purported to show the fuel line routing but none of them did. This video showed how to figure it out on any two-stroke which is a lot like teaching a man to fish. I quickly determined the correct routing and my saw started right up. Thanks much. Now I'm going fishing.

I went to the local home improvement center for answers; no one had a clue on how to hook up the hoses. I took a weedeater off the rack and shined my cell phone light in the inner workings and saw how the remote prime was hooked up. But this video showed me how to test the lines for correct placement. Many Thanks

I figured it out on my own when my hoses on a little tiller I have gave out due to dry rot. I fixed it with new hoses on the fly, with out removing carb. Watching your video helped explain more what I did and why. Thanks.

Just watched this last night to gather info before I disassemble my carb system. I noticed that the fuel lines have been on the wrong side for awhile. I had someone fix my trimmer in the past so either they messed up or the manufacture did. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for ending my several week ordeal. My saw sat in a metal building (Texas heat) for years. All the lines had broke off and were so brittle they would crush when touched.... Many videos show information but my problem was that most videos I had watched before this was that the had both lines on the same side of the carb. Mine has one on each side and no one explained the flow of fuel. You did a hell of a quick explaination. Wife was ready for me to trash it , buy a new one and get some work done. I guess the days of staring at it and drinking a cold one are over. Many , many Thanks

Got a $10 chainsaw (Mcculloch) that didn't run. Opened her up and saw rotted fuel lines. Replaced them and oil line, cleaned out the carb and couldn't get fuel moving. Realized I may have screwed up the fuel line ordering. Watched this video just now, ran down and did the test in a bowl of fuel - booom got the chainsaw running - thanks!

Mark: your tips on how to decide how the fuel lines were properly routed. Your tricks made it very easy to correctly attach the new lines. I also appreciated how you should put new lines in through the tank. Without cutting the lines it would have taken forever to get the new lines into the tanks. Thank you so much... It made the jo easy.

Cut the end of the fuel line at a sharp angle. This will make the line much easier to insert. Hemostats also are very helpful if working in a tight space.

Nicely presented-- Your video saved the day. As a side note, it appears that my unit came from the factory with the lines incorrectly installed. Although it would run (if you could get it started), your video led me to connect the fuel lines correctly. With a minor adjustment of the carb, all is now good. Have you considered a video on how to remove the protective caps from the carb screws? It can be done without breaking them, but some finese is required. Thank you again!

Very informative video, it will help me, i am sure. My trimmer is a 4 stroke but the carburetor and bulb looks the same so I will try to reroute my lines now.
My trimmer just starts and then dies until I pump the bulb again.
It repeats itself like that but never continues to run.
I must have mixed up the fuel lines when I replaced to a new carburator.

    QUESTION:
Hi, Since you didn't actually install the lines into a Weed Eater fuel tank, this leaves me with the unanswered question whether the return line must be long enough to stay submerged in the fuel OR, does it simply have to reach the tank to dump the fuel back to the tank? I did everything else correctly, still not working. Thanks in advance.
