Speaking of Zsasz, I remember someone finding an unused art asset of him that basically looked like what was going to be his bio portrait. I can't recall where it is now, though.
3:46 That's Ratcatcher! I wonder was he going to be in the game... I remember one of those side stories mentioning he'd been killed by Penguin, in the final game.
he probably may have been considered at some point if the art is in the files like it is, though i imagine was never fully taken forward as that side story happens in Arkham City so there was no way they could bring him in for knight unless it was another ratcatcher (impersonator? child who took up the mantle? who knows) although it could be concept art from any other arkham games that was carried over for testing or placeholder purposes (unless that's proven wrong in which case correct me) or, maybe an early concept for ace chemical workers, they would probably need to wear full suits to prevent any harmful effects so maybe these were early suits designed in tone with the rest of the game? either way it's still quite creepy!
I’m glad they took out the reference to an exact 8 year timeline. Batman’s career should be at least 20yrs long I think. He has to essentially raise 3 separate young men. If you go with the comic continuity, then Dick was just a kid when Batman recruited him and he was even Robin in college. That’s ~8+ years right there. Then he has to have a second and third Robin. The Robins really almost destroy any “realistic” timeline for Batman. It’s possible with 3 Robins, and then the limit is pushed to its max with Damien, and I don’t think there’s much room for any others.
It would have been great, just like how the original season of infamy was hatter, croc, freeze,al ghul, black mask and Prometheus but only used the first four
Two things: 1. I actually think Batman was supposed to drive the Suicide Car. It's the only other vehicle in the game that has an afterburner. It could be like the Crash Bomb challenges from Just Cause 3: get the car to a location (probably the ocean) while keeping the speed up, or it'll explode. I think it could've been a very cool side mission. 2. Can you confirm that Professor Pyg's in the GCPD are muttering something, maybe about "peanut butter" and "bacon?" Even with headphones, standing right next to their cell and zoomed in, I can BARELY hear it, but I think they're saying something.
5:36 is probably an armored enemy, like the ones from City and Origins, which ended up being replaced by brutes (despite the fact that Origins managed to have both).
They're not called Brutes in Origins, they're called Enforcers, which they are supposed to be the Lieutenants from Arkham City (the buffed one arm dudes).
About the "Mayor Gordon unveiled a Batman Statue" dialogue, I heard it on my first "Flip of a Coin" playthrough. I think it has to be the first run (you don't restart in the middle of the predator section). What I did was wait behind a stack of money on the floor just below your starting point where 2 goons are running back and forth loading money and the third stood guarding the stack. If you stay there, no patrol would notice you, and they would start the dialogue.
Batman had been around almost 2 years by the time origins came around based on in game context. So 8 years between when that happened to Arkham knight? 10 years seems rather short.
it could be more. there have been arkham origins references in arkham knight which refer the game taking place 15 years ago. we can’t know for sure. but it’s 10-15 years
@@ab_077 still seems kind of short in my opinion. Then again they seem to reboot the continuity every decade or so in the the comics anyway so doesn't not make sense.

I think i know what these hostage vehicles drones were supposed to be. So some mission has a civilian inside of them, and you have to disable the vehicle using the drone hack feature on the Batmobile. However it is hard to do since the vehicle is moving at high speeds and there is a timer for the bombs.
maybe the unfinished riddler track had something to do with bane bc if you look, at the very beginning of the track you see little teddy bears exactly the same as the ones when you visited bane in arkham city. Maybe they wanted to add bane into the track as a challenge but never did...
