    Just make sure the rope doesn't have frayed edges. Cuz they can get wedged into the piston and cause a big mess of trying to get it back out. I know cuz that's what just happened to me

    I tried doing this on my echo pb 760LN but the pulley is not engaging with the cup it always comes loose.

    This was exactly what I needed - I had no idea how to get that starter cup off. Great job with that starter rope trick - worked like a champ!
