Just finished with my 21 gladiator rubicon 24k miles. This was the second time that light came on. Was not going to try and deal with the dealer ship again. I did the aux battery delete just like you showed. Didn’t remove the fuse, the light went away at first start up. I do have a mini tazer to help keep it off. Is it needed to upgrade the main battery to a 750 cca?

I have saw others do so but as now still on my factory main battery with no issues.

I have this problem right now I deleted the auxiliary battery I connected the positive with the positive in main battery but the auto start stop sign still shown

I did not remove anything but the aux battery. And then hooked the positive aux to the positive main battery. Cycled the jeep on and off and the light went away.

If you are doing away with the small battery you have to take our the fuse on F42. LoL. And then remove the negative wire for the small battery. No, I'm not watching anymore of the video. I'm 10 minutes in and you don't have a clue.

You are correct I don’t know I’m going off of what everyone else is doing. And it did work without removing the fuse.

The way he is doing it you dont need to remove any fuses, there is 2 ways to do it, one is his way and one is the way you explained, he is doing it correct

I’ve tried a couple different ways of deleting the AUX battery. So far what’s worked best for me has been to remove fuse 42, run the positive up to the main battery, and disconnecting the AUX negative from the battery. I don’t believe that the AUX positive cable needs to be connected to the main battery but that seemed like the safest place to secure it. I didn’t want it just dangling around with electrical tape. At some point I’ll go through the whole wiring harness and remove all the AUX wiring but for now it’s been working great for over about 2 years

Thanks for the info! So far all is working fine. Just putting the positive aux cable on the main battery I did not remove the fuse.
