    This kit is awesome! I got it a couple months back and can't beleive how easy it is to use, esp never ever using in the past and testing it on my new sub70k car was really scared at first. Watching all your videos Def helped and gave me the confidence I needed.

      I’m about to do the same. Just ordered my kit. Never used one. Bought one once (a DeWalt, I think) and returned it lol. Too scared to use. But this product looks awesome. Has great reviews. Can’t wait to use it on my, strangely, sub-70k truck. Haha. Def will be nervous but I appreciate seeing reviews like yours. Helps out my mind even more at ease. 👍🏼

    Very informative video. At 7:28/9:46 you sprayed something on the white pad, but you did not tell the viewer what you were spraying. Can you please tell us what you sprayed on the white pad? Is it just water? Or, is it some Chemical Guys product?

    Question: I saw you spray something onto the pad before you applied the polish to the car.I am assuming it is water. When should you spray water onto the pad and polish before using the machine? Thank you.

      Hi Joseph! Use Polishing Pad Conditioner to prep the pad as well as reduce heat. Apply Pad Conditioner for the first few panels and then as needed from then on.

    What pad do you recommend for a car that only has 15k miles? Bought it brand new, doesn't have all that many swirls. No scratches. However, I will be applying a ceramic coating, but I also don't think I'll need to compound and polish, probably just polish from the looks of it. What pad would be the most useful in my situation?

    I know the middle panel was a one step with Orange pad and V36 but could you then use the white pad with V38 to really bring out the shine?

      Yes I just dab my black pad in the carnauba wax paste and apply it to the vehicle and wipe off.

    What should I do when the cutting pad gets dirty halfway into compounding my black repainted car? The clear is broken down so the black paint gets onto the pad.
    Should I get several pads or should I just wash the pad?

    Trying this on my black Tacoma for the first time, it had lots of scratches from what looks like a previous owner using something abrasive to clean/wipe it down with. We used the orange pad and tried all the way down to 32 but still seeing some scratches. Is there a certain amount of time I should be working on one area with the orbital before wiping it down???

      Hi Sarah! Work in a 2 foot by 2 foot section moving the polisher about 1 inch per second until the compound/polish turns clear.

    Got a white turbo Mazda 3 I just bought, def has swirls in the paint but also lot of paint chips. Is it even worth doing all this even with paint chips? I wanted to ceramic coat it too

      I leave them soaking in a bucket with Dawn, rinse and wring them out and the put them on the polisher to spin out excess water. Chem Guys also sell a pad cleaning spray.

    I used a green going as far down as 32 on a black Jeep and the surface scratches still would not come out. What is the cause of the scratches not being able to be removed?

    I need a refund on this thing it’s a horrible machine Boggs out all the time with barely any pressure. I’m a detailer and I get better results on my old school portar cable. I would like a refund immediately so I can order a different unit. Ur showing results on perfect paint. I spent hours trying to get out an oxidized hood and still got no where after running a heavy compound and pad.
