Picking up XT200 vibes from this camera… especially with the decision to go with the film simulation dial, and the use of the charcoal grey top plate. No bad thing btw, I really liked that camera …
Are there any other improvements regarding new sensor like more punchier colors and more vivid, or just more pixels and everything else is the same as 4th gen sensor.
The biggest problem with this camera is the price. In Malaysia, it is going for RM7999 (Body only). Whereas the X-T5 only costs a little bit more RM8500 (Body only). You get a better battery, weather resistance, dual SD card & etc for just an extra RM500. At this point, the X-T50 makes no sense unless you are looking for a slightly smaller & lighter body.
I think Fuji could have just removed the IBIS and marked down the price a little. Really hope that the rumored upcoming X-E5 will be more reasonably priced.
@@kianthong959that, or used the older sensor. Although I think they’re putting image stabilization in their cameras now and removing it from lenses. Kind of like the new “kit” lens
@kianthong959 if you are looking for a cheaper body than that of the XT50 with out IBIS Fujifilm already has cameras like that, I am glad that they have IBIS in the XT50, it helps in video and photography and their is no use putting the 40mp sensor in a stripped down body.
I think prices for all stuff have indeed increase. Many have compare the price of X-T30 II vs X-T50. Unfortunately it's not apple to apple comparison. As X-T50 now house IBIS. It is what it is. Those who loves it will eventually buy it. And those who think it's overprice might even get a X-T5. More value there. Cheers.
Agreed...but IBIS is around for a while now in many cameras like Sony, Canon, Nikon etc. For me and many others it makes no sense to grab an X-T50 instead of an X-T5. In my honest opinion it's way overpriced for what it is.@@FujiFanBoys
‼️ A nice camera. I would buy it if it hasn't the film simulation wheel. This is a toy for Instagram people... p.s. the price for the X-T50 body in Switzerland is actual sFr. 1250.- (€ 1240.-) in Interdiscount shop......
Don't take life too seriously. I am with you on the Price and Film Simulation dial with the X-T50; Fujifilm as a company have always take risk and try to gain reach a bigger audience. Most of the time they do well and there are also time like X-pro3 and X-F10 which didn't appeal to the market. As for X-T50, they have succeeded in reaching the younger and new to the brand. ( and thus buying more new lenses) As for mature photographer there are still many other Fujifilm options for us. Cheers mate and have a great weekend.
In my opinion,Fuji fan XT50 is - Overprice for entry level camera - Ugly design ,no modern,no classic vintage - No weather shield - Too small when use with some lens, its like a baby toy - I don t like simulation film dial ,it s not necessory For me pay more little money for XT5 is better 😊😊😊
It isn't the entry level, that is the X-T30 II It looks like a classic SLR, you clearly haven't had one. The X-Txx has never had WR, it is a differentiator, as is the EVF, dials, dual card slots etc. It isn't meant to be paired with large lenses, size is literally the point of it being smaller. The FS dial is not aimed at you. The selling point of marketing the Fuji to new users is Film Simulations. Size, weight and cost of the X-T5 does not matter to *YOU* it does to *OTHERS*
I have the xt5, but prefer the xt50. I have a Leica m6 ttl, Hasselblad 501cm, Ricoh gr3 and gr3x. Told you what cameras I have just like everyone else does, even though it’s pointless. That Ricoh gr3x is no slouch.
Stupid camera with the useless FiLm dial, big fail by Fuji, also theyve used the old battery. Feels cheap and like a camera youd give your baby to play with lol
Black body with white lens wow❤

Nice video. The lens hood on the XF 27 mm 2.8 at the end looks really good. What brand is it?
Hello its from squarehood.se
I like the silver color, it looks like a true silver compared to the silver xt30ii
Is the x-t50 capable of digital zoom crop like the x100vi from 35mm -50-70 (ff equivalent)? TIA
Hello Mike, not that I know of. I don't think it has this feature. cheers
Even though the XT50 has a 1/4000 macanicle shutter speed, the electronic shutter is extremely fast.
yes yes.
Nice shots , Can use sigma lenses in xt50?
if the Sigma lens is for X-mount.
Film sim dial is limited if you can't use it with recipes.
No problem use recipes, just put the sim dial om C.
Are there any other improvements regarding new sensor like more punchier colors and more vivid, or just more pixels and everything else is the same as 4th gen sensor.
Hello Standley, feels the same to me in term of colors. The 2 main improvement is enough for an upgrade. IBIS and 40MP sensor.

In the this video? or currently?
Charcoal, yes
The people who know Fuji better than I say it's way overpriced.

@@Dan27. Agreed. This new camera will help push more sale for X-T5.
It’s up to Fuji what the price is. Don’t buy it !. Thousands will.
@@r423fplip I won't. It's garbage 🗑️
i have a xt5 for 2 months and im selling it to get the xt50 because it was overkill for me anyway
That is an interesting point. Care to share more about your decision?
This is an insane take…
No issue with battery. I shoot all day and only take 1 battery. Just activate the plane mode
thanks for sharing.
No! Silver lens on silver X-T50 all day, every day! 🤣
that is also very nice.
I like the graphite grey colour. I already have the XT5 so will skip this.
That is a valid reason. cheers.

Graphite…… not boring charcoal. Dude.
the biggest issue of Xt-50 is its 40MP sensor. now only XS-20 make more sense, as all the old lens still works fine with its 26MP sensor
what is the issue with the new 40MP sensor??
@@gabrielto4990some of the older (cheaper in many cases) cannot resolute according to fuji.

All lenses benefit from a higher resolution sensor. You will get higher resolution from *ANY* lens on a 40mpix compared to 26mpix.
silly starting point. The BIGGEST problems are the film simulation dial and the pricey price tag lah. :))

It’s a cheap camera. The film simulations are fantastic. I use it with the 18mm 1.4,23mm 1.4, 33mm 1.4 and 90mm f2. Pictures are fantastic quality.

The price makes no sense lol get an XT5. It's not much smaller than XT5 with way less feature. Wtf is Fuji thinking with this one lol.
Personally I would get the X-T5 too. I can also understand that there are photographers who wants a smaller form factor and great feathers.
