That moms behaviour when her daughter didn’t win the highest title was disgusting.
Which one? Many of them were ridiculous. It was sickening to watch. This isn't a sport but it still teaches bad sportsmanship and how to be a sore loser and an obnoxious winner.

Exactly. Seeing some of the reactions from certain mothers is revolting and damaging to their daughters' self esteem.

Oh yea that ass is grass 😂 tho I think what really had her upset is the fact that her mom wasent proud she didn’t live up to her expectations and I can kinda see it was good enough for her at first but once she realized her mom was upset she too felt not good enough which is what makes me sad. Brats are brats lol but not supporting ur child and making them feel not good enough bc of a title in a lil pageant isent good parenting in my opinion bc I grew up that same exact way never feeling good enough for what my mom expected never made her proud usually never surpassed her high expectations no matter how hard I tried so maybe that’s why I looked at it from that view.
@@taylorm1997or maybe the little girl is crying because she knows her mother is going to scream at her for not doing better and getting a bigger crown to make mother happy. This isn’t about the kids, this is about the mothers bitching and cattiness, the little girls see this and then know their mothers are not happy they didn’t place first and so they end up crying.
It’s sad that you would beat your kid for crying in disappointment or frustration. Plus you also don’t know what the producers said to make her react that way, for all you know they said “your mother is very angry that you didn’t place first” and so she started crying in fear or something.
It’s crazy because if the parents didn’t react all dramatic when they didn’t place first the girls would actually be proud with their placements
I agree. I mean when the little toddler Cadence didn't win, her mother is like "I'm HEARTBROKEN for my daughter!" That's absolute BS. Her daughter is happily playing with the crown she won to the mother's heartbreak is all for herself

I love Caydence's other Mum with the short hair .. she is truly just happy her daughter is happy. When the show asked 'Do you think she knows she could have got a higher title" she replies instantly, "She doesn't know. She's very happy and that's what's important" That made me smile. I'm glad one of her Mums just wants her to be happy and it's not all about the competition 😊

Poor Piper, just because she didn’t get the biggest title her mum wasn’t happy? I’d have been thrilled if my kid even placed and got a pretty crown to remember it from. This stuff is just sooo harmful to these little girl’s development, thinking if they don’t get the best place they aren’t good enough 😢

@Mik Mak haliey piper sister does pageants only for confidence not for titles. Kaylee mom if she was mature should had gone to the directors with concerns about cheating and they were getting permission and to have them taken off. But Kaylee fat mouth mother purposely embarrassed hailey yelling while she was doing her routine. So I don't think pipers mom was upset because her daughter having a lower title I think she's upset because Kaylee was gonna beat pipers when the mother should be thrown out of competition.

The mothers and their behaviour are installing into their daughters that unless they win the top prize they are not good enough. It is SO obvious these mothers are living out their own dreams thru their children.

So the little girl seemed happy to win the title she did, as she stood there, WITHOUT her mom by her side because mom was whining and "needed a break". She said it was because she was heartbroken FOR HER DAUGHTER but no less proud of her. Um, the daughter was fine about it, well except I would imagine she's bummed that mom isn't by her side, congratulating her. Those women are disgusting.
The level of narcissism, entitlement, pettiness and downright meanness in these women is utterly shocking, horrifying and sadly, morbidly entertaining.

I think this would be cute to get your kid all dressed up in a beautiful dress, make them feel like a princess and take them to a pageant ONE time, get a pretty beginners crown (because they all get something none of them win nothing) and a sash or whatever and then after winning leave and go for pancakes without seeing what anyone else wins and never go again and then revel in the WIN with your princess and move on.

the girl crying about it being too loud… as a person who has sensory issues and gets panic attacks from loud noises, the mom yelling at her kid for being overwhelmed is completely disgusting
The little girl close to the beginning that asked her mom if her won title is good or not because she doesn't know or really seem to care. Then the mom's fighting like cats and dogs calling each other white trash and trailer trash was bananas. This isn't teaching girls to grow up to be classy women, it's teaching them how to be petty, catty and two faced like their moms are and strive to emulate that behaviour.
the girl in the beginning crying saying “it’s too loud” is all what is wrong about pageants. no 3 year old should be forced into a crowded environment with hundreds of people, parading on stage for old creeps to see. i don’t recall a time when i was younger when there was more than 30 people around me. children go on a sensory overload with lots of people. they’re tired, they need food, they need rest. what they don’t need is to be caked with make and hair, forced into a big heavy dress, and be forced into believing that if they don’t win, they’re not beautiful enough.
You should never force your child to do something they don’t wanna do. Some of these girls look like they really don’t wanna be there.
In the UK the minimum age for this type of event is 13 this is disgusting. The behaviour of the parents is deplorable 🥵🥵🥵

The mom wasn't sad for her daughter for not getting the higher title. She was sad for herself. Her child didn't know she didn't get the highest title. She was just happy that she got a crown and a trophy and that's what it should be all about. The behavior coming from these mothers disgusts me to no end!!
My mom didn't put me in dance to be the next Gelsey Kirkland. She put me in dance to better self confidence and self-esteem.
That mom is not heart broken for her daughter, she is heart broken that she did not get the big crown and money if there is a money prize. Those moms don't give a shit about their daughters, they just want the money, so they can go buy more fancy clothes and drink mimosas with their girlfriends while someone else watches the kids.
I think a lot of these moms are better to well off. Pageants are expensive when you calculate all the costs. I believe these moms (especially the one crying when her daughter didn’t win the ultimate grand supreme) are living vicariously through their daughter’s experiences and success. Some of these moms probably have low self esteem and when their daughter(s) win a beauty contest, they see it as themselves winning and being validated as beautiful because they produced said daughter.
Heart broken for your child who was thrilled, but gonna be confused as hell as to why mom is not happy 🙄

This show is almost exactly as terrible as Dance Moms if not worse.

They preach “be classy we’re not like them” to their daughters yet they cuss eachother and act so disrespectful towards the kids. There are two types of overweight pagent mom: 1. were probably very attractive in their teens and 20s, cheerleaders maybe, got the boys. 2. Were always frumpy and never made the mark, regardless, they all end up with a beautiful baby daughter who they see as an extention of themselves- not as an individual. Through the child they can be 1. Who they were again or 2. Who they wanted to be. All focus on the child and with the child fuelling their self-esteem, it means any sort of self care in the way of diet/exercise or clothing can go out the window. The child and mom are one in the same. This is why the mom cries for the daughter when the daughter is completely oblivious.

My mom put me in pageants and I this show is from 2016 but some of my pageant friends are actually in it none from this episode tho they all loved pageants if u never have don’t them u don’t really have room to speak 😅
U also have to remember that this is reality tv and u have to audition to be on the show they purposely pick children who don’t like this or moms who are dramatic for more entertainment lots of episodes get canceled bc the or the moms wernt dramatic enough in real like pageants are fun and positive and a place to show off girls best qualities not there worst ❤

My mum was devastated for me because of the exam system in educational system in Poland, when I got the results of my finals which were nice, but not the best and I felt like if she was angry at me for the results

problem is the moms spend their savings and even go into debt to enter these things. Most of the people that enter this are from middle-lower socioeconomic backgrounds so they don't have cash to splash on these things and one dress alone can cost 2k. Forget all the costs of other outfits, make up, fake tans, hair, transport, accommodation, coaching, entry fees, photography etc. Consequently, the parents are relying on their kids winning to ease the financial burden
