Please watch the part 2 of this propagation, how the tubers would be like after replanted . Thanks for all your support ❤️ God bless🙏 th-cam.com/video/AGi1jZQeMhw/w-d-xo.html
I am jealous of your Alocasia as I live in a colder climate where I have to grow my Alocasias indoors. But your video gave me the courage to divide my plants. Thank you.
Hello, I want to thank you for the tutorial. I was able to successfully propagate my Alocasia exactly as you show, and results are showing. Out of the 4 pieces I cut off, all 4 are showing new growth, and mother plant is doing well. Thank you again.
Wow finally I can understand the videos on Alocosaia propagation cause it's in English. I am so sad that often I come across Thailand videos without English in them. Thanks for the detail video and subtitles.
Nice naman ang idea ang pag propagate ng halaman. Talagang naparami at napalago ang mga ito. Hanggang maging Mother Plants. Ayos po. Keep safe. God Bless.

thanks for the video, really enjoyable with music & talking phases!! Does this work for Macrorrhiza Splash, too? Is there a best time to do this? In Spring?
Very good video How long did it take before you separated the daughter plants in the long planter.. because the roots grew very wep in your potting mixture.
Hi I bought a variegated Alocasia online. It arrived nice but after a week the leaves drooped, went yellow and I had to cut off. I inspected the roots and it was a basal offset with only 1 brown root. I read that you can place in perlite, but elsewhere it says to put in a glass of water. I’m scared about the water because I would think it would rot. What do you think? Please help. Thank you.
Hi , may I know where you place her? I am in tropical county and this plant loves shaded sunlight and humidity . In my experience watering is not a problem they love staying moist but not too wet . It is normal for their leaves to turn yellow especially the old leaves .. drooping leaves may cause underwater , but still it is depends on our locations . This plant is ok to put in water but make sure to cut those rotten sides it there is and change water regularly. If rooted and stable replant to a soil mixture. This plant is easy to care once you get her likes. Msg me again if anything . Thanks for visiting
This one on the ground ,, does the soil has peat moss or any added mix ? Super Ganda ,, salute to your skills in caring plants and propagation. So informative,, detail to detail … 👏💕👏💕👏👏💕👏💕👏💕
Hi , sorry for delayed reply… yes eventually young ones will mature (approximately 4 months) and you’ll be able to propagate like the mother plant. Thanks for visiting , pls subscribe to help my channel 🌹
Hi , you can mix rice hulls also, but in my experience garden soil and compost is enough , in case you will use chicken manure careful on the ratio because it is stronger than compost …..this plant doesn’t need to be well draining (50% soil , 50% compost) can use this ratio You can also use this👇🏼 (30%soil 20% coco peat 30% compost 10% chicken manure 10% rice hulls ) Whatever you have there you may use it as long as not too well draining,.. hope this helps anything pls comment back. Thanks for visiting my channel
They can stand an intense heat but at first some leaves may burn if they get use to the sun then the new leaves will be fine with intense heat. My Alocasia is enjoying full sun , they will grow quicker if in bigger pots or on ground and importantly, Sunlight. Thanks for watching
The only way I could think of is propagation from tubers , as you can see from the video , a small cut of tuber can produce few babies . These babies will grow and eventually will have tuber too … I was excited to propagate because I want to have more of them , and it happened. Now I am avoiding propagating because I have no spaces for them .
Please watch the part 2 of this propagation, how the tubers would be like after replanted .
Thanks for all your support ❤️

You can do it! thanks for watching
I was jealous too my plants are weak n feel so pity😢 .
This plant likes water , sunlight and fertilizer.
If ur growing them indoor make sure to give them supplemental lights , they need warm feels
If really cant grow indoor with soil , try to put in water vase , but make sure to give them fertilizer and change water regularly

Good morning dear🥰💖
Good morning my dearest 💕
Why are the roots cut back? Thank you for sharing this video!
I have to trim roots to freshen them
Por favor me pasas el enlace de lo que les rocias a las raíces para curarlas antes de plantarlas , dices en el video que es un líquido casero
Sorry I only see your comment now .. unfortunately I can’t understand , I don’t see translations in this comment, thanks for watching

How long did it take before you separated the daughter plants in the long planter.. because the roots grew very wep in your potting mixture.
This alocasia macchoriza is an easy plant , you will not going to have a problem propagating them. thanks for visiting mg channel

Are they expensive?
Do the daughter/baby plants eventually produce their own tuber that you can cut in pieces to propagate?
Hi , sorry for delayed reply… yes eventually young ones will mature (approximately 4 months) and you’ll be able to propagate like the mother plant. Thanks for visiting , pls subscribe to help my channel 🌹

Es cierto que si uno tiene niños o animales son peligrosas??? Como que son venenosas, o es mito únicamente???
Does it need full sun or part shade
They can stand an intense heat but at first some leaves may burn if they get use to the sun then the new leaves will be fine with intense heat. My Alocasia is enjoying full sun , they will grow quicker if in bigger pots or on ground and importantly, Sunlight.
Thanks for watching
Is this possible with any alocasia??
No , AMV loves water and its soil mixture also differ from jewel alocasias
Thanks for watching ❤️
Do you sell your propagated young plants?
I have plenty of young because of this propagation, where are you located?
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
How long until you produce small children if conditions are ideal
In a month you will have small babies , thanks for visiting my channel
@@pearllorenzo Is there a way to increase the production of children from the mother plant؟
The only way I could think of is propagation from tubers , as you can see from the video , a small cut of tuber can produce few babies . @@pearllorenzo Good, but how do I know that the mother plant is ready until I disperse the tubers?
Not necessarily tubal propagation but from the rhyzome.
Yah , we all have different ways of propagation , thanks for visiting
She is showing different ways to propagate.
