    In the not-so-distant past, if a young woman that was living at home got pregnant, and the boy or man was unwilling to take some responsibility for his part, it took another male to make that male 1) own up to it, and 2) pony up some responsibility, financially, or otherwise in terms of marriage to her; so, a lifetime commitment. Nowadays, males walk away because the sexual ethos that's popular now is, "her body, her choice" and he gets off consequence-free, and she's left holding the diaper bag, and the other members of her family if she's fortunate, also help raise her child. And the father is just nowhere to be found. He's 'dropped off the key, Lee; made a new plan, Stan, and got himself free'. So the prevailing ethos makes her feel she must be sexually available even on the FIRST DATE, and then she's 100% responsible for the child if that encounter results in pregnancy. Thank you, "Feminism." Thank you, cultural marxism that says "there is no God" and therefore no proper behavior for sexual expression. Now her option, they say, is Kill the Baby, but don't call it that, call it by any other name, because it's not even a human being yet. This isn't "Liberation" for females, this is a type of soul killing for humanity. Men, whether they know it or acknowledge it or not, also suffer for this.

    Many short term mating individuals have “flat attachment” (many personality disorders would be better characterized as “relationship” disorders…most typically originating from a poor parental guardian attachment) … flat attachment + trauma tends to trigger dark triad traits
    So short term mating strategies is an indicator of deeper mental health and emotional stability issues frequently

    • @williamdecotiis8330
      @williamdecotiis8330 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      It’s an inversion of the “love” bond between child and parent. Where children learn love is support, respect and affection or love is pain abandonment and rejection. As adults folks in the secondary group develop aloplastic defensive strategies becomes reject first, be emotionally unavailable, narcissism, manipulation, dissociate etc

    • @williamdecotiis8330
      @williamdecotiis8330 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If an emotional and cohesive survival bond isn’t modeled by parents, that isn’t prioritized in a would be spouse (although it is the best survival strategy long term). Logically next most beneficial survival strategy is sexual access for resources or power (status, money, etc) … increases chances of survival and offspring survival.
      In the second group manipulation and Michiavellianism is a necessity there is only the player and the played. It’s transactional, someone’s getting something from someone for their own benefit.
      There is no cohesive pair bond of mutual goals or values

      As long as you include 1) modern love, 2) queerdom and 3) queer marriage in the "mental illness" reference.
      Since there is NOTHING that can compare with knowing perfectly well what gender and marriage are but agreeing to lie about them being "redefined" on a national level if you're talking about mental illness.
      There is no possible disconnect from reality greater than that one.

      This collection of businesses is not making the people of Baxter wealthy. Quite the opposite: it is sucking wealth out of the community, limiting jobs and opportunity in the process... It's a system set up to make the wealthy wealthier. In return, the unwashed masses get cheap imported stuff and fast food.
      - Chuck Marohn, The Classic Case (Strong Towns).
      I would add causal sex. Another thing that the unwashed masses get in exchange for their children's livelihoods and their liberty. As with the previous example, the public are participants in their own enslavement (that of their children).

    Interesting. As a young man, I had my fair share of those one night stands. Some I regretted. Usually the ones when I had a few too many drinks. There were also those I didn't have sex with for one reason or other. A few of those I regretted having not had sex with. The only relationships I had that were meaningful were the ones that were long term. Three I married didn't work out. Probably enough blame for them and myself they didn't work out. I finally married my last and fourth wife and surprise, one I'd known since child hood. We've been together for 23 years, married for 15 of those years. Haven't figured out why it took us so long to find each other when we've known each other since we were kids. Life is pretty complicated. At least relationships are.

      Remember, kids, BOTH Dr.s INEXTRICABLY LINKED the Dark Tetrad to 1) MODERN LOVE, or, what is more affectionately referred to as "short term" relationships by people with less intellect.
      One of those Dark Traits is SADISM, which manifests in general in abusiveness, and in many cases, PHYSICAL ATTACKS.

    Honestly, I see a disconnect between what supposedly is driving women (the threat of sexual violence, the threat of having no male to support the offspring....etc.)
    You would think that would mean women would be attracted not only to the wealthy males but to the more civilized and stable males.
    Its actually, the bad boys that seems to turn on women on in a deep biological way and the marrying of the stable man is a conscious decision.
    Growing up I marvelled at how some men who where not that good looking, and obviously shifty as hell would bag so many women. I've also seen a couple of women seem addicted to their beaters. The more they got hit, the more they were desperate for their love.

    • @Georegle
      @Georegle 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      its not disconnected. its exactly right. "bad boy" is a dangerous male- that means he is more likely to do anything/go to any length to protect what he's come to value. "stable males' hardly take risks. The word is risky/dangerous- to a woman, risk averse males = someone who will not do is utmost a.k.a bare his fangs at a threat to his territory. he might sensibly want to negotiate or run. thats why as JP puts it, a desirable trait in males to females is 'a dangerous man'. That said being dangerous and being stupid are not the same thing. Thats why they prefer muscular men bc it takes hurting yourself to build muscle (exposing yourself to risk to gain more strength). same with taller male, bigger male attraction. Wealth is also attractive to women bc its risky to go out and make money- risk averse people do not get rich. Simply put the world is a dangerous place, get the most dangerous male on your side to protect you.

      Until I surrendered to God at age 49 and experienced (honest to God) the new birth after baptism by water and His Holy Spirit, I had been attracted to males who were not going to make good mates. After being Saved, only good men were the kind that caught my interest. Of course, I remained chaste, and if the man was married or taken, I gave up interest immediately because I respected God's laws and boundary lines. It's amazing the turnaround He caused in me. Years of psychotherapy gave me SOME clues as to WHY I found those pattern types attractive, but only God could actually change me and my desires inside and out, and that in the twinkling of an eye! When I emerged from the water, I was truly a new creation. It had to be a real surrender though, and God knows how deep it goes! Interestingly, after baptism, I found my authentic self, before the layers of stain from the world's shams had obscured it. I recognized my self from childhood, but now I could grow up into maturity in God's wonderful love. Yes, I was 49 and wasn't mature except physically. So I know that God is real, can and will Save if we're finally through running away from Him and truly through with the world's "solutions". He is the true miracle worker, and yes, real baptism is more than by water, it IS by His Holy Spirit also. Don't let the wolves in sheep's clothing tell you that "doesn't happen today. " They're wrong. God still works to Save. His way is truly transformative!

Women dont want to be any of these things when they still have the factors to attract the type of man seeking this and they seek to ride the carousel until they are all used up and its too late baby... options become limited and the emotional damage toll hockey-sticks toward cat city.

    I wouldn't necessarily call this freedom. A lot of it is actually the culture erasing the differences between men and women, particularly the value women uniquely bring to the table. There is pressure for women to be more "equal" and stop demanding so much from men. The modern expectations from women in the West echo Communist Romania. Women are deemed selfish for having standards, while the unique labours they undertake and the risks they face are disregarded in favour of the collective.

    • @mobilityproject3485
      @mobilityproject3485 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not even the collective, the theory I guess? Maybe their immediate instincts, or those of men? Maybe the ultra rich, if this is an intentional strategy to make the workers powerless. In any case, it's a bizarre 💀 cult that has taken the world's once strongest economies (America and others) to their knees.
      "The productivity of that technology and infrastructure boomed in the late 80s. We overbuilt in housing, commercial, real estate. We overshot. At that point, we went into a housing recession, which became a global recession.
      How did we get out of the recession? We didn’t. We did not have a third industrial revolution in place with the same multiplier effect as the auto age, the oil age and suburban construction, so we began to eat up the savings of the second industrial revolution through extended credit. [As well as burning more oil and other natural resources, much of which had to grow faster than the economy to sustain meager growth]"
      -Jeremy Rifkin on the zombie economy, 2010.
      web.archive.org/web/20111113231459/www.euractiv.com/priorities/rifkin-interview-495262
      Why do you think the replacement technologies never showed up? We've been expecting them since the 50s, after all. Could it be that the high number of people from broken homes destroyed the talent that would have made that possible??? I wonder...

    In this country we barely even teach girls and women about the amazing things our bodies do to make life. Yet let’s make a joke to show how in the dark we are . The only reason a woman trying to be a stripper is because she thinks she doesn’t have what makes her qualified to make the money to support herself and her family. Or that the waitressing job doesn’t pay as much to keep the bills paid and food in their stomachs. That is not supposed to be on her shoulders alone. It’s easy for men to walk out of relationship, especially if the child never grows inside of them . They are never burdened by anything that a pregnancy brings unless they want to women doesn’t get that choice.But yeah, she’ll make more Tips. I really respected you in the psychology field for everything that you have done but you put yourself down when you say things like this, and it might be to get a bigger base at the end of the day. The most likely human mating strategy in the future is short term marriage contracts, which expire like a driver's license. Since the divorce rate is 50%, this should be legally required, to protect both parties rights in the likely event, it doesn't last forever.

      Won't fix the problem of *female biology* and their terrible standards that are incompatible with a stable and thriving society.
      Females don't mate like society needs them to mate, so regardless of "marriage contracts" they'll keep mating with 20% from the top/bottom, more particularly the bottom, which will exponentially increase the amount of idiots and ill-behaved people in the future.
      The inevitable conclusion is that you will control the sexuality of females or your society will inevitably decay and collapse, there are no alternatives. 💊

      "The divorce rate is no where near 50%" you said. Really?
      That depends on what a marriage is. For instance 50% of American children are born to single moms. Usually they get pregnant living with a man or one who drops by.
      A woman I know had 2 kids with a guy. They never married. They lived together for 3 years. Then split up. Did they legally "marry"? No, technically not.
      But was it a marriage, despite the lack of a piece of marriage paper? Of course it was real. They have two grandchildren now. Do they count in marriage stats? Of course not.
      They were not "technically" married, so in our fairy tale stats, they weren't married, they are lifelong singles. Be a bit more honest. @@Art-is-craft

      Sorry but no amount of social policy or activism can change biological reality. The pill is not 100% effective at birth control and increases the risks of disease. Women have a higher risk of contracting STD’s than men do with interactions. Women are also at higher risk in casual relationship when considering violence. No amount of regulating can get around these issues.

      @Art-is-craft no bc is 100% effective? Abortion being accessible and child support/child benefits exist for those who choose to have the baby already exist. STD? Use barrier methods or stay with the same partner/s as long as you can. And violent men shouldnt stop women from living their best lives. They arent that common anymore anyway

    Push come to shove, and regardless of personal preference, women STILL defer to Men because of their size. Size, physical strength, is more intimidating as far as "survival" has been concerned. And even today in many countries (including the US) men remain dominant even though the American legal system has given more protection to women. Along comes the latest Evangelical movement (not the first and likely not the last) who have essentially riding a tide of abolishing abortion. Just today in Texas, a Texas judge gave permission to a prenant woman who "knows" her baby will be born with severe deficiencies, BECAUSE Texas law forbids all abortions. For the most part that law is based upon what Men want and to a large extent because of their stature get what they want.

      Men want women to not be able to abort? All men? I'm not sure what your trying to say to be honest.
      If you want to understand "the why" for ban abortion or birth control arguments you need to understand the different reasons. There are some more unhinged than others.
      Lets go back in time to 1960 when abortion was illegal and birth control didnt exist (A multi-decade study actually shows that women were much happier btw). How did women select men sexually? Well, they had to ask themselves every time they had sex if they wanted to have children with this man. Do you think that affected how they chose? I'd say it would certainly have them choose men that had traits to be good fathers, husbands and providers. It probably very naturally reduce promiscuity. Every time a woman selects a good man with sex those traits are reinforced in society. He is rewarded for being good. That is a good thing.
      What happens when you make birth control universally available and abortion legal. Women are stripped of the responsibility of choosing a good father. What would women prioritize in a world where they didnt have to consider if that man would be a good father every time she had sex? I would argue women would then begin selecting for traits in attraction and masculinity and less in traits of protection, provision, decency. You see there is a high dopaminergic reward to women for being selected by men with high level genetic traits and high in markers in masculinity. When you remove the natural consequences of sex for women they begin selecting men sexually for things that have nothing to do with being a good man. Over time this selection reinforces itself over and over and over until many women are blindly having casual sex with a small % of men who have been encouraged to behave badly by being sexual selected so frequently.
      While I'm sure there are conservatives that want to control women or drag us back to 1950, here is my take. There are many unforeseen consequence to our society caused by legal abortion and birth control. It has fundamentally changed the selection criteria for men by women and encouraged bad behavior from the small % of very attractive men. The easiest way to return dating, courting and marriage to normal in a single generation would be to ban both. The natural consequence of children would force women to choose good men and not over prioritize only the most attractive men. However, you and I know this will not happen nationally even if it has happened in some conservative states. And for the record I'm not for banning either, I simply want people to be informed on how we got here. A return to traditionalism is the answer, but I'm not sure how we get there.

    • @msmd3295
      @msmd3295 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Art-is-craft The video in part addresses [social] "gender roles". And it demonstrates in part that women are not equal treatment in society. And the Texas case exemplifies the disparities that still exist between who has power to determine social policy. Men for thousands of years have dominated the decision making process by virtue of their size and strength. But intelligence and wisdom is not determined by physical strength. In fact contemporary research has demonstrated that females have a tendency to intellectually mature before males and it is only until the early 20s that males catch up with females. And yet men have always dominated because they've literally forced women to be subservient to "dumber" males. I suspect that if roles were reversed the world would've been more civil for hundreds of years.
