It is impossible to turn the tide of culture in the US at this point. The vast federal bureaucracy has been carefully cultivated and sourced for several generations by ideological zealots from academia. There is no simple solution, but to let things hit rock bottom and then hope for a popular uprising that will overturn the establishment. For this to happen it will take at least another ten to twenty years. Mass immigration also slows down this process, as the newcomers come from even worse political environments, so they do not see the declining state of affairs as a big issue. The social pressures will have to become unbearable even for those with higher tolerance for disorder, for the tide to start turning. But, until then, most people who like orderly, civilized societies will have to endure a worsening chaos. Therefore, it is better to act now and make the move. Life is short. And few reasonable people aren’t going to change an entire culture based on grievances, entitlement, instant gratification and organized chaos!
I'm from Sweden. You can change the word US to Sweden and you would still be 100% correct in your assessment. This is why moved over a decade ago - the best choice I've ever made.
Im concerned that , as our government seek s more and more and panders to those have done nothing to advance themselves, that our assets will become more and more attractive. Remember how Revenue Canada put your primary residence on tax forms a few years ago.
@@cassciti896 Nothing too exotic. As Ken says about his wife, mine too is a teacher and still believes the government has our best interests at heart. Ecuador has been on my radar, same rough time zone as Canada, flights are better then eastern Europe. If I was going to cut all ties, I would look at Indonesia as , regardless of what they say, Eastern Europe in part of the EU and under a lot of pressure to conform.
@@cassciti896I'm a Canadian looking to divest my assets from Canada and buy bitcoin. More important than where you go is HOW. If your assets cannot be taken / sanctioned, you can have a lot of freedom wherever you are. Without a job or assets in Canada you can also leave if it gets wonky again. It likely will, but it could happen elsewhere so be flexible and liquid. Everything you have to lose is something that a government can leverage.
I am from Azerbaijan - one of the countries from areas mentioned in the clip. I lived in the US for 3 years and decided not to stay there. When I tell my friends that the US is literally the last place on Earth I'd prefer to live, they get very surprised. There is no way a man with my mindset keeps his family there... Btw, this happened 13 years ago, imagine the difference today.
I hate to admit it, but the US peaked culturally in the '80s to '90s. It's been on a precipitous decline ever since, and I don't think that it's possible to stop the bleeding regardless of which politicians are voted in. It's really sad because growing up as a Canadian in the '90s, I always looked up to America as the bastion of freedom.
I never would've suspected someone from a country like Azerbaijan ,.whose neighbors are,. Turkey, Syria, Iraq,. and The former soviet republic of Georgia to even remotely be ready for American culture in any way shape, form of fashion LoL! Even people from more liberal Muslim countries like Egypt,.or the UAE,.would really have some serious issues with how open and liberal American culture is,..LoL
@@dereksbooks Nothing that happened under Ronald Reagan represents any "peak in US culture".LoL And actually,..if your using real metrics, such as economic growth, manufacturing and standards of living as your measurement, you get a much earlier era! America , in the 20-30 years post WW2 era,..was at its peak. In 1972 the average white collar male professional earned between $9,000 to $12,000 on average,.but the average new American home only cost between $20,000 to $30,000 therefore most hard working peoples could pay off their mortgage in just over 3 years and still have enough left over for other nice things ( new car, new kids, travel,.etc etc ) THAT purchasing power for property was certainly not possible in the 80s and 90s and sure as hell sounds like FANTASY today,..LoL The US ended WW2 as the only country with any massive manufacturing base,.

I lived in Turkey and Russia last year and didn't see anything woke at all. Also I've lived in Australia before that and the USA after, and both of them have high wokeness.
Respected British anthropology professor, Dr. Edward Dutton, has demonstrated that “LEFTISM” is due to genetic mutations caused by poor breeding strategies. 🤡 To put it simply, in recent decades, those persons who exhibit leftist traits such as egalitarianism, feminism, gynocentrism, socialism, multiculturalism, transvestism, homosexuality, perverse morality, and laziness, have been reproducing at rates far exceeding the previous norm, leading to an explosion of insane, narcissistic SOCIOPATHS in (mostly) Western societies.
Australia is probably worse than the US. At least the US has a right wing, here in Australia the Liberal Party is impotent. Look at what happened to Moira Deeming.
I'm in Australia. It's going from bad to worse down here. The current government is trying to push through a bill that will make the government the only source of information and being able to determine what is "misinformation". Our major parties politicians are super woke.
I think it must be mentioned here the differences between childhoods in each place. It is my belief that here in the USA, everyone is being treated like they are 10 years younger than they actually are, and this has had a profound effect on culture. 16 years olds being treated like 6 year olds and being discouraged from getting drivers licenses. 35 year olds being treated like 25 year olds and being told they "don't know what the real world of work is like" (despite having been in the workforce for ~15 years). 20 year old college students being told that every time they feel offended, it is a "trauma response" and "an act of violence" that requires running to the nearest authority figure to solve for them. No matter what you think about "woke culture," that (and other social phenomena adjacent to it) is a direct result of the above.
Wow good resume I'm totally agree with you. People in their 25's are treated like kids, because they still don't know what are they doing or how this world works, like dude they are ADULT
Take families off of the farm/ranch 100 years ago and suddenly they all become worthless; ladies ability to cook/clean/make a dress; mens ability to build/repair any silly thing. . .
This happens in many countries. Practically a whole continent, Asia, is like this. Plus a whole bunch of other places. This is not US specific by any means.....from someone who has been to all 193 UN countries.
A lot of the weirdness is due to the affect of social media. It's a global phenomenon where social media is literally frying our brains. It just so happens that the US is perhaps the most exposed to social media due to language and early adoption of the technology. Non English speaking countries are bit less exposed but it's coming for them as well.
This video is perfect timing. I’m about to be a first time father in 2 months and I’m scared of where things are heading. I’ve been looking for a way to back out of society. I just don’t want my daughter to grow up in a place where more and more adults are finding it okay to talk about sexual stuff with other peoples kids
I am from the UK and have a Thai wife and a 5 year old child. Initially we were going to raise her in the UK but after seeing what was being taught in the schools we decided not to. We are now living in Thailand and have her in a Thai owned school with European and Phillipino teachers. I couldn't have dreamed of better. There is no woke and she is very happy here. I would highly recommend it to any parent looking to escape the madness that is currently taking place in the West. My advice if you want to escape woke is migrate to Asia or Eastern Europe.
Have you thought about homeschooling your daughter? There is ways you can avoid the public education system but also have them in some type of homeschooling system so you don't have to worry about them becoming socially awkward. Regardless congratulations and good luck! 🫡
I visited Malaysia this summer and I felt like I've been missing out on a lot of things my whole life. Kuala Lampur is like a melting pot of all the Asian cultures, from Japanese to Korean to Chinese and Thai, you can find elements of all these cultures there, it's like a window to the Southeast Asia region. It's a fairly organized country, and the living is pretty cheap, cheaper than most Western countries.
As a Malaysian, I welcome you to come legally, and I feel you are probably gonna be fine here. But know also our latest debacle is about banning stupid bands from performing in the country cause they came in and kissed each other (male to male) in front of a crowd after giving an irrelevant speech during the concert about us. We are consistently on the top 5 most homophobic countries (according to the western powers).

The Polish people are nice but it is still European Union, meaning WEF globalists and very woke agenda's , even for Poland. Only country that is good is Hungary.
I'm more concerned about which countries handled the COVID crisis the best in regard to personal freedoms. For example, Costa Rica had a mandate for all children over six months to take the C19 potion, which is absolutely crazy. Doctors were given the authority to override parents' wishes. These are things we need to consider for the next lockdown because there WILL be a next lockdown.

@@MochaGypsy Yeah, I agree 100%. I was trying to pay attention to the worst offenders at the time. Australia and Canada were horrible. Mexico seemed to be pretty lenient.
@@revivahealing8437 Yes. If I remember correctly, Mexico had some rules and the people rebelled against them! So, another important thing to look at is how compliant the people are culturally. In Costa Rica, where I'm currently living, the people are very trusting of the government and media, and have the outlook of "going along to get along". When the gov't handed down that C19 mandate, most of them offered up their kids willingly! Beautiful people, but too many of them are sheep, which is dangerous.
I have spent a lot of time in Eastern Europe as well and you are spot on when it comes to maturity in young people. Eastern Europeans are just a lot more capable at a younger age.
I'm from the Balkans. North Macedonia specifically. The reason probably for that is that we don't really have a lot of opportunities. That's why people are more like Jack of all trades type of characters. We learn all the time, we change jobs and careers and we adapt. Let me give you an example: We still can't be paid through PayPal. So opening a business for yourself online is out of the question (it's becoming much better though). So when you have things like that you learn how to adapt and become better much faster. However, there are issues here. Lots of them. Corruption, lack of opportunity, misogyny (some places more than others), low wages high cost of living etc.
@@HexYanMost of the things you named like corruption and high cost of living rings very much the same in the West. Corruption is just a little less obvious due to it being indirect and occluded.
I think it’s also because you have one generation who totally lost out on the regional development. My EE colleagues had to hold key positions because there were no seniors above them.
That is exactly how young people were when I was a kid in the US, in rural NY state. Kids were actually encouraged to become capable and mature. The current trend is to create a herd-like mass of helpless, dependent youth that never really take charge of their own lives.
I'm an American. I'm trying to convince my husband to think about moving to a different country. The culture here is rot and people are so angry and hostile here and getting worse.
Angry and hostile people is basically most of Europe right now and it will only get worse with mass migration. Canada is rotten now. Are you willing to leave the US for a more dangerous poor country? You don’t have to leave the US, just choose a better state: there’s still cities in America with a strong sense of community. Just leave the large cities if you can.
You can be in a small town in Germany, Italy , Austriaor France and feel a breath of fresh air, incredible history, and more but like anywhere these days bigger cities are more chaotic. His intent was sincere but views went way down and IMO felt obliged to come back. We all get married to not just the content but the presenter. Transitions like that are possible but take a much longer transition time and format. I believe PBD is doing that... anyway love this channel and the message. And for westerners to open their eyes there are options to living around the world. Seriously USA cities are literally 3rd world compared to China. And China doesn't have corporations wokeness trying to sexualize children. American society and western society is in a literally hot civil war.
I moved with my family from Holland to Montenegro, wokeness is getting out of hand, and I don't want my little daughter learning about sex in kindergarten
Hungary is a good place too to avoid wokeness. Many Dutch people are moving to Hungary. “In June 2021, the Hungarian parliament adopted a law on child protection that introduced Europe’s first legislation designed to protect kids from gender ideology in schools, reinforce previous family protection measures, and equip courts with tools to impose more serious sentences on those that commit sex crimes against children. In a referendum on April 3, 2022, almost 4 million Hungarians affirmed the government’s policy direction voting that child protection must remain a priority and that decisions regarding their children’s upbringing must remain the sole right of parents.”
@@freedomfighter1734 as a hungarian i can only say this: on one hand everything you said is true, but on the other hand wokeism so absent in society to the point where the legislation give more of a wtich hunt wibe for those who dont follow what the hell is going on in the West (yes, most hungarians dont even have an idea what "wokeness" is, even Hollywood movies very often jsut dont make any sense at all for most ppl., simply put, the ideology just dont exist at all) than an actually necessary law which needed desperately (in a way, even for me it feels more liek a propaganda stunt aimed towards westerners specifically to atract them, but thats jsut the cynical hungarian talking from me). Personally i atribute this to 3 factor: -the hungarian language is gender neutral. There is only one gender neutral "pronounce" in the language, and no room to make up new ones. This basically meant to most of the gender ideology is literally incompatible with the hungarian language (and by extension beyond the comprehension of anyone who dotn speak a foreign language... whick bring us to...) -only 20% of the hungarian population is even capable of having a conversation on ANY foreign language - the lowest in Europe. It literally further isolated Hungarian society from this ideology -and lastly, its a post-communist country. Ppl. are generally VERY cynical and the greatest national value (due historical circumstances) is literally adaptability (the ability to endure hardship - the very antithesis of wokeism). That beeing said, i can only recommend Hungary with reservations, since like i mentioned only 1 out of 5 ppl. speak any foreign language (and half of them likely speak only german as foreign language, NOT english), and the hungarian language is also one of the hardest in not just Europe, but in the world.

The woke is getting stronger and more present in everything. The best thing I can think to do is learn to build passive income and create a skill set that can be used anywhere. The corporate world is deep into the wokeness and if you don't like it you need to learn how to be self sufficient. You need to start thinking outside the box to escape the prison. Passive income is best because it always works even when you do not. A TH-cam channel done correctly can provide you with this and at most you need an hour to two a day to make and edit a video. If you want to be free, you have to start by thinking creatively as someone who is free. Conventional methods will not give it to you. Your parents grew up in a different time that no longer exists. Only this moment and this current does and to be free you must adapt.
Alternatively, you could learn a truly useful skill, whether it be in a technical/scientific/medical field, in marketing, trades (electrician, carpenter, welder, etc), etc, and make an actual contribution to society. While this won't be as easy as cooking up some way to get 'passive income', most human experience to date has shown that providing an actual useful service or product leads to prosperity.
Don't rely on utube for money. They can shut down overnight. Better to know how to grow food, cook, preserve. Learn a trade. Utube? That's hilarious. It's owned by corporate America. We've all watched channels being taken down because they didn't follow the cv- mantra.

Wokeism doesn't really exist outside the US. The reason for that is that wokeism is just another fabricated bogeyman that is being used by the political right in America to scare the low-information MAGA crowd into supporting their authoritarian aims.
Be sure to describe what Woke is for you. Because that started as a black terminologies, describing a higher level of consciousness and perception of institutionalized racism. So many Black people hear it as a dog whistle for black hate racism and sexism! Now, right wing people have stolen terminology, and while, still serving as a dog whistle for racism and sexism, they use it for many other things like describing liberal/progressive policies.

I moved from California to Thailand four years ago and I did notice a shift in my motivations’ranking during that period. Imagine ladyboys in the USA. Now why don't the Thais care about that? Because they are already woke and don't care about what people do, wear or how they present themselves. If everybody in the USA was as woke as Thailand, nobody would talk about these issues at all here. Native English speaker here who grew up in Switzerland: Definitely met plenty of the 'chattering classes' in Switzerland who would and indeed are embracing "woke". In some ways, because Swiss society has always been quite conservative (try, for example, buying anything on a Sunday), people have sort of short-circuited the process. Note that the pronoun wars aren't really a thing - gendered pronouns of course are reality of life in other European languages, and I'm sure plenty of people are currently funding a PhD for themselves studying this delta. They do of course have gendered job-titles, which is not a 'thing' in English, but is very much a bear trap for the unwary.
I thought that not working on Sundays or in the night might be a progressive thing either. I moved to Ecuador last year and it's been a very good fit for me. I'm on track for permanent residence, possibly leading to citizenship. IMHO, the U.S. (and the West in general) is in sharp decline economically, morally and geopolitically, and I believe that WOKENESS is contributing to the cultural decline. The U.S. is no longer a true democracy! My Ecuadorian friends tease me about how Biden is trying to jail his political opponent. They tell me that they've heard stories about this sinister political tactic from their grandparents. "Your country is going backwards", they say. There are ways to escape woke culture: Reduce the time you spend on the internet searching and scrolling through the news/articles/people that promote woke stuff. In general spend less time on the internet. Walk in a park, climb a mountain, go to gym, go to the beach, go to your favorite music festival, play a video game, build a chair or something. Live your fucking life. Focus on the positive stuff. This is the best time to be alive. Endless opportunities. Stop watching content that enrages you. I wish you peace. And I wish you love.
The thing that has made me more and more uncomfortable is government, workplace, school and media intrusion into people's lives. I saw this occuring years ago in the NHS where it felt like they were trying to dictate the personal/moral values of staff. We had mandatory training which was more akin to 'sensitivity training', than actual work-based training. And it irked me at the time because I felt like being preached to. And it was one of the reasons I moved away from the NHS. I didn't understand at the time what was going on (about 12 years ago), but as the years have passed I've now seen that the workplace, schools and colleges, media organizations and politics is where they are trying to re-shape people's values, sometimes on the back of sweeping assumptions about the general public, and are quick to punish people who don't toe the line. For years I said I could see myself retiring in a small 'traditionally' minded community in the UK, perhaps in some small town, well away from large city's. but I've been having serious doubts the past few years because these organizations are getting too intrusive for my liking.

Look at the rent/buying prices in Madagascar or Cambodia for example :) we have enough money for a small house in Denmark, many might have, if all of us who have that amount go together and make an El Paraiso Verde, we will be safe for a couple of generations. And we will for sure get rich and rich enough to just have some land to give, rent or sell cheap to make a nice colony where people are mainly, but not necessarily fully, self sufficient.
People have been saying that here probably since colonial times. EVERY generation, once they reach a certain age, begins lamenting the lost 'safety, freedom, common sense', etc that prevailed when they were younger and has now vanished. The constant pining for 'the good old days', that were never really as good as most people's hindsight would have them believe, is as old as the hills, and it's tiring. Yes, there are things that were better in the past for most individuals, in large part because we were younger, healthier, and more optimistic about the possibilities that awaited us. But there are also good things happening today that weren't happening in the past. In fact, there is even greater safety (from violent crime) in most American cities since the violent crime and murder peak in 1993. Freedom is greater for many segments of the population, relative to our past when minorities and women couldn't vote, get loans, etc. Common sense is also not entirely lost, even if it seems that way much of the time.

It may not be for many… but it works for me (I’m Canadian). If you have the means, live the life you were meant to live, where ever that is! If living in an environment where you are always angry makes you happy… 🧐 then by all means stay where you are! My Stepmother’s sister lived and worked in Malaysia for years and has a deep love for it!
Portugal legalised drugs, Surely that is a "Woke" ideology, Would be nice though if all these anti woke freaks, who are afraid of this weaponized word (Which all you seem to have different meanings of what it actually means) would all f*ck off and live on your own island but then what would the new boogie man be if you all did that?
@@BeautifulTripsandPlaces in a way, Portugal picked me. I went for 3 months, quite last minute, after I had spent several month as caregiver to my aging Mum. She had vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. Once she was safely in a long term care facility I then had the awful task of going through a lifetime of her things (as if she had died… but she hadn’t, she was alive… just no longer living as a whole person) and it broke me. After I sold her house and dealt with her personal affairs and by this time she was somewhere safe and my sister could visit her… and I was burnt out, I took a friend up on her offer to rent me her house in Portugal (Silver Coast) for 3 months. It is where I became to heal from extreme burnout and stress. I learned a WHOLE LOT while I was there… made a lot friends… fell in love with the place, people and the culture. I felt at home in a way that I had never felt before. I experienced plenty of challenges but I believe change and challenges are good for the soul. *this was my short answer!!
@@JenShea oh wow, Im so sorry for you, that must be so sad and tough experiencing your mom going through those diseases. I can imagine you were burned out. Its great that Portugal could provide you with some healing. I cant really convey it in words but i feel for you! I've lived in Portugal but always have been doubting if i could live there long term. But its definitely a country with a lot of opportunity for relaxing and feeling peace. Especially out of the cities. Im on the fence between Portugal and south America. I hope your new home will do you good!
Thank you 🙏- I’m having a hard time getting this point across to people (who consume a lot of media instead of experiences) as one of the main reasons why I’m preparing to leave the US…(just got some land in Croatia) Also, during my recent travels I met a bunch of “strong people” who’ve left the western countries… This is definitely a thing on a rise, regardless of the income level
I began my escape from U.S. 25 years ago to Thainand, neighbor to Malaysia. Split time 50-50 home and abroad, now full time since pre Covid. My SS provides a good life, sea view residence $280 /w pool. All utilities, Inc free WiFi, and cell phone, $40 a month. Restaurant meals $3-$6. Locals welcoming and friendly. Public transportation very affordable 24 hours a day. Females like being feminine.
Watching this video and reading comments, I'm pleasantly surprised. I often get the impression that Americans and Brits are all woke. Glad there's a strong counter-narrative and a push towards traditional values. There's hope yet!
Live outside the cities for a far different life. I live in a rural county in a mostly rural southern state and we have no woke culture here. No BLM, gangs or Antifa. Very few homeless, no graffiti no traffic, no stress. No trans craziness or CRT in the schools. Yah there’s a few freaks but normal people are the norm here and in many many places, even in deep blue states
@@kangarooninja2594 Not necessarily. There are a lot of people with both money and sense, but who attained that money through means that, to put it delicately, are dubious and tend to attract the attention of law enforcement authorities. I think that a lot of the coded language that the Nomad Capitalist uses like 'things not going in a good direction' in your country, or to needing to move 'in case something happens', are actually referring to an individual's circumstances and not to some sort of broader cultural or socio-economic situation. People who need to move themselves, their businesses, and/or their assets to another country quickly, are often people who are doing things that will land them in hot water in the country where they currently reside.
@@johnclifford544 I don't know, man. I've known a lot of paranoid people in my life, and they always see coded language and ulterior motives in everything. @@workpulkit Honestly, trying to figure that out right now by living in certain countries for like 3-6 months and then making a decision on where I want to live permanently. Wish I was more helpful brother.
@@workpulkit I'm in Canada, moved to a rural area from the GTA 2 years ago, and for the most part aside from some of the folks who are unable to take responsibility for their own thoughts and require it dictated to them, it's pretty empty of woke culture. I suspect rural areas in general are still fine, especially for raising a family (which I'm not currently doing). There are still a few low cost rural areas in Canada, even Ontario. Just gotta find them. With good people too, and not a 5 hour drive away from amenities.
Thank you for this honest words about moving. For those right wingers who want to stay and die: "At dawn, the two angels told Lot he must leave quickly. They said to him, ‘Hurry! Take your wife and take your two daughters who are here. If you do not go quickly, you will all die when the Lord destroys the city.’"
I’m a black man and a Boomer, and I hear very similar sentiments from “politically engaged” people on the left. I get some fascinating looks from them when I say stuff like, “I didn’t make this mess, and I don’t feel any obligation to fix it. But if you want to keep re-fighting civil rights battles, grow old, then watch your children take on the same zombie horde you did, Be. My. Guest.”
I hope I'm able to make it out of the USA in time for the next tyrannical leader who locks the whole country down with the next lab-made disease. Heading to Eastern Europe and working on Polish citizenship by descent. Thank you for your good advice, Andrew.
I lived in the Philippines for a bit over a year. Now we're in Japan. I noticed that every other ad in the Philippines was a Trans person or someone in drag. I don't mind there being an LGBTQ culture, but its in your face 24/7. For a country that lacks basic infrastructure compared even to it's peers, Philippines lacks focus and woke culture has taken over. Kids in these somewhat English speaking countries sit on Twitter and Reddit all day, reading about how great the west is and lack zero context. Singapore is the same. Youth are pushing hard for LGBTQ rights, meanwhile their birthrate is abysmal and they're sandwiched between two Muslim majority countries. It seems that a language barrier sometimes is a useful tool. Nothing wrong with Conservative or Liberal values, but blindly following them when they don't fit is a recipe for disaster, ala the Iranian Revolution. Of course, nobody teaches this in school. Then of course, there's the disdain for the rich, even if they're self made. Andrew is right, diversify your options.
Trans people in Philippines are not trans because they feel like it but because it enables men to get female jobs. We all know prostitution is a high paid most popular industry there. It was there before LGBTQ was in America and has nothing to do with this movement.
As an American, I have lived and worked in the Philippines for 20+ years and married and have children. The Philippines is not even anywhere close to woke culture. The Philippines is extremely conservative, abortion of any length is illegal, has been run by dictators in the past and generally has a very heavy right leaning population. Filipinos though, do not give a sh$t what someone is as long as they are happy. Come on, you spent 1 year there, you should know better. Although your post proves that most Americans dont even understand WTF woke is. Hell, I watched people get their heads blow off on the street under Duterte for the perceived notion they were doing drugs. Philippines, woke? hahahaha.
@@vioreliachim5646Sorry, im no OP but Japan is also heading the same. The court rules trans women can use women single sex space without any gender reassignment surgery. Moving from a red state to a redder state that I think is about 20 years behind the “progress” I’ve seen in my home state. Are enough of us gathering there to preserve the way of life we prefer for my children? Only time will tell. Another 20 years will be retirement for us. We are not afraid to move to where we can be content.
Keep in mind that blue states pay for the red states. So by moving to an even redder state, you are deciding to be an even greater burden on the majority of American taxpayers.

As someone originally from Latvia, currently living in Arizona, I am looking for a way out. I am not looking to move back to the place I'm from, but the US is on a massive downward spiral right now. I am looking to put down the roots as far as buying a property goes, and I don't see a point. Dating is also bs as I can't match with anyone culturally compatible. Latvia is a completely incompatible as well. So I'm just going around life nurturing a wide array of personal relationships with open, as you call them "worldly", people. Looking to go to Dubai later this year as a lot of my new connections are congegrating there, at least part time anyway.

I live in Canada but we decided simply to leave society and form our own parallel micro-society, which actually is working quite well for us. However, I love your stance on issues and I like watching your videos.
You mention a lot of positives regarding Eastern Europe, and I am to thank you for actually acknowledging these things (as the West usually dumps on us). However, it is important to consider all aspects of that life. People on that side of the globe have been shaped by the hardships and history in that region. Thus, if you are physically or mentally weak, and you seek a comfortable living for the long term as you leave the West - Eastern Europe is probably not for you. Unless you are rich, of course, then many issues simply don't affect you. But hey, that's my take on it growing up in the ruins of the USSR, so take it with a grain of salt.
4:20 You let corrupt politicians and, by proxy, complicit media working as a poorly veiled branch of the government, off the hook too easily, sir. Culture shifts have become increasingly less organic over the last several decades since ideological policy has become the primary driver, in my opinion.
He is saying that there is no point in fighting them anymore because the left always wins no matter what!! Do you want to spend your life engaging in moronic social debates contrived by an evil far-left media or starts living your best life now by moving somewhere else?
My biggest concern and I don’t see it addressed in the videos I’ve watched, so that could be my bad, but regardless I’m concerned to leave with my wife and kids to somewhere “better” and then they are kidnapped or attacked or something like that. For example that’s why we don’t live in Latin America. My wife and I are both very open to leaving, but we need to learn more about family safety options that include schools, safety etc. Family issues.

We left the great white north ~ and etched out a life here....
Did anyone see that study where they surveyed u.s. college students and their age group peers overseas, their fears were sooooo different. While overseas students were last afraid because of a risk of attack, the u.s. students listed "being alone with an uber driver" as a cause of fear. I was so ashamed of what this culture had become. Weak people will continue to make times for generations to come.
We’re American expats in Zürich, Switzerland and for a Western country it’s not that woke - except it’s growing in my kid’s international school, unfortunately. But it’s still mostly a Christian country and majority conservative government with traditional values. Yesterday was the Knabenschiessen in Zürich which is the shooting contest for kids 13-18. Kids can drink beer and wine at 16. And there’s a traditional apprenticeship route to take for kids after 9th grade or highschool. So there’s choice. My kids are applying for citizenship now and I’m eligible next year. 🙏🏻 But my son is probably going to go to college in Prague. I think Switzerland is the best Western European country to move to if you don’t want Eastern Europe. Portugal is good too!

What are you trying to escape exactly? "gender affirming care" is more accessable in thailand than it is anywhere else on earth and its looking like japan is about to legalize gay marriage with 70% of the population in support. Woke tends to be a pretty catch all term so what what does it mean to you?
Thailand is going woke. It's LGBTQ central of Asia. Singapore's wokeness is nothing compared to them. They even choose new government that promises woke policies to be enforced. The new Miss Universe owner is also from there, trans women but insisting he's as natural and authentic as any other women out there. They even have the best gender reassignment surgery in the world that people used to say "the only way you know it's real if it's wet and able to squeeze". Philippines, though the government is more traditional, has an overwhelming culture of being absorbed by the social media, aka woke stuffs. Could be the next Thailand.

Andrew, Upper East Tennessee is a nice place to live. Tennessee and Florida are the two states in the eastern US that have no income taxes, but Tennessee has a nice change of seasons every year. Tennessee is mostly a Red state, but Upper East Tennessee is definitely Red. If you have clients who feel safer carrying a firearm in their pocket, we are a Constitutional Carry state...no permit required. And you can still get a very nice home here for way under a half million. For your English-speaking clients who'd like to live in the US, it's a nice place to consider.
Utah is nice too. I went last weekend for UFC. It felt like "hope" was in the air there. Extremely clean and well built infrastructure for a medium sized capital city.
Over the past few years I've been traveling to find where I want to live. Since then I've realized that I don’t necessarily want to be in just one place, I'd prefer to travel at least for a few more years to really experience the world. But I've escaped woke culture in nearly all of the spanish speaking countries I've been to so far, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica. There is a small bit of wokeness but it's really not prominent, and it's really only found in big metro cities that draw some inspiration from US pop culture. I have Colombian citizenship because I was born there and I want to spend more time there checking it out to see if I'd want to take advantage of my dual citizenship and escape the US that way. But for right now, I've been living in Mexico for a few months and I will continue exploring cities here. I love Mexico. The main issue here though is that there is too much corruption for me to want to live here permanently. Its not as dangerous as people say though, as long as you go to small towns in quieter states and learn spanish. I'm in a small town now and I love it. By the way, dont go to mexico city if you want to escape woke Americans. They've already infiltrated and locals there are a bit resentful. Understandably.
Remembering that countries can change, as an example look at Venezuela that over a twenty year period went from by far the richest country in South America to the poorest. In my opinion many of the “English language countries” seem to be taking a similar path, will they also become poorest?

11:20 I wish states had more power. States are literally as big as countries. I like that the federal government is supposed to "ensure" some basic rights and then everything is different from state to state, but that's not the "case" anymore. That said, states do have a lot of power. They have their own "constitutions." I live in Louisiana and about 70% of my "tuition" "aid" comes from the state government.
Great video and super timely Andrew! I left the wokeness of America 3 years ago splitting my time between Switzerland and Türkiye. The wokeness of the US made me decide to leave here when I retire (can't leave before then because of what I do for a livong). As I considered destinations, I came to realize that the entire West is infected to one degree or a other with wokeness, and I want absolutely nothing to do with it. For that reason, Asia (not sure which country yet) has raced to the top of the list. An added benefit of Asia is the affordability will allow me to retire sooner than I thought! 😊

So much of what this guy says is right up my alley. Only thing hindering me is that I don't command eight figures... but I'm so over the bullshit of the current culture wars. I tell my friends and family all the time that I'm here... but my mind and soul are somewhere else, wandering the world. I dream of the day I can break the chains and escape the cage. Channels like these are like guideposts along the journey. There is hope... but the road is long.

Well said and 100% accurate.

Ive lived in Latin America 20 years. The US addiction to media and conflict gets wierder every time I go back.
A lot of the weirdness is due to the affect of social media. It's a global phenomenon where social media is literally frying our brains. It just so happens that the US is perhaps the most exposed to social media due to language and early adoption of the technology. Non English speaking countries are bit less exposed but it's coming for them as well.

All the best for your daughter!
Have you thought about homeschooling your daughter? There is ways you can avoid the public education system but also have them in some type of homeschooling system so you don't have to worry about them becoming socially awkward. Regardless congratulations and good luck! 🫡

👏👏👏👏
Yes that is really the most important concern. ❤
@@revivahealing8437 It IS! What's the point of living this great lifestyle if the government will just storm in and do whatever it wants with you and your children? Now, you're in a foreign country, away from your support system AND enslaved! I really hope Nomad Capitalist really looks into this.

How long have you been living there? How is life in Montenegro for you?
Personally i atribute this to 3 factor:
-the hungarian language is gender neutral. There is only one gender neutral "pronounce" in the language, and no room to make up new ones. This basically meant to most of the gender ideology is literally incompatible with the hungarian language (and by extension beyond the comprehension of anyone who dotn speak a foreign language... whick bring us to...)
-only 20% of the hungarian population is even capable of having a conversation on ANY foreign language - the lowest in Europe. It literally further isolated Hungarian society from this ideology
-and lastly, its a post-communist country. Ppl. are generally VERY cynical and the greatest national value (due historical circumstances) is literally adaptability (the ability to endure hardship - the very antithesis of wokeism).

Totally agree, it will not get better either, she's going the way if Babylon.

This is so true. Abroad, you can find levels of freedom, safety, and common sense that disappeared from the US many decades ago.
I hear you! I have spent three months in Peru over the last 18 months, and Peruvians seem so free, happy, and humane to me. Unlike here in the USA.

Why did you pick Portugal? :)

@kangarooninja2594 I'm not even going deny that because it's facts
@@kangarooninja2594 Not necessarily. There are a lot of people with both money and sense, but who attained that money through means that, to put it delicately, are dubious and tend to attract the attention of law enforcement authorities. I think that a lot of the coded language that the Nomad Capitalist uses like 'things not going in a good direction' in your country, or to needing to move 'in case something happens', are actually referring to an individual's circumstances and not to some sort of broader cultural or socio-economic situation.
Philippines, woke? hahahaha.

You mention a lot of positives regarding Eastern Europe, and I am to thank you for actually acknowledging these things (as the West usually dumps on us).
