Had you not considered a Wharncliffe style? Would have saved a lot of grinding and the tip is very well supported.

@@iSharpen Maybe I understood but I took it as @pw601 asking why you didnt do a wharncliffe instead? If this is not what he meant, feel free to correct me
A wharncliffe is a blade shape, it does have a definition but 99% of them are a variation on that. It basically looks like if you take a regular straight blade, and sharpen the spine instead. So a backwards straight blade if that makes sense? Ive also heard it defined as "sheepsfoot but with a pointy tip" several places, but then you have stuff like the Hogue Deka where wharncliffe is an option but its so modified its hard to tell what it even is haha
If I remember correctly, the wharncliffe was designed to be both a utility blade and a combat knife in equal measure, but im not 100% on that
In any case, if you google "blade shapes" and go to pictures, theres like a hundred different comparison pictures showing the different shapes and their names, the knife you made here pretty closely resembles the textbook wharncliffe shape imo.
So basically I just didnt understand what he meant by the comment and was curious if he could elaborate

I had in mind the Spyderco Ronin2 style Wharncliffe. A more obtuse angle from the tip to the spine keeping the spine intact along more of the length of the blade. Still an elegant result though

I can tell you are a Fan of the “Bull Nose” style, I would have put a point on it but that’s just me.😊

Not sure if you watched the whole movie but if I'd reprofiled it entirely back to its original shape but shorter it'd cut into the branding on the knife and that would look hack. This way it keeps more metal. The customer liked its funky look so I'm happy he's happy.

@@02bigkev I sell them but currently only within Australia. If you're overseas, you'll have to wait until I get my Export permit approved. It's in with the government at the moment. I'm waiting to hear from them if I'm approved. I will sell them to everyone in the world.
