The tracks are now on their way directly from Six Flags Mexico to Cedar Point. Park visitors have been photographing trucks with the tracks leaving Six Flags Mexico since last week. In Mexico, we are still waiting for an explanation from Six Flags Mexico. They had already confirmed on their social media that the park would open a new roller coaster on its 25th anniversary. We know that they won't open anything new in 2025, but we are hopeful that they already have a Plan B (2026) after giving the roller coaster to Cedar Point.
I thought it was going to be a water ride, i was excited. I thought maybe this was what was going to replace snake rivers falls. I'm going to ride it either way. Hopefully it's running and tt2 is running next year and i'll get 2 new coasters under my belt.
I’m excited about Cedar Point adding what I believe will be a unique thrill to their lineup. The layout looks really solid as well. Unfortunately, if the tilt coaster trend catches on, it’s a bit of a missed opportunity of having the best of its kind. It’s also a lost section of land that could have been used for a woodie or something that appealed towards a larger audience.
It's our Wildcat replacement. 🤣 It took long enough to finally replace it. All joking aside this looks great. If Cedar Point can pull it off this could be open by memorial day. Front row first ride for me.
Looking forward to visiting this park In 2025 especially when this new ride opens. Hopefully Top Thrill 2 reopens next year as well and running properly.
From what you can see from Valravn it looks like they have quite a few already dug. Im starting to wonder if they are starting with seesaw supports like the other park did. If so dang that tilt will be close to the midway.
@GhosterCoasters Yeah, I got a nice pic of the top of a beam, and you could tell I was shooting down in. I did insta it. I have no following, so I doubt they care about something they aren't trying to hide.
It makes sense putting it there because Valravan and sirens curse holds you at the top before it drops you so it makes lots of sense for putting it in that area.
Think this has more to do with Vekoma and Cotaland having a contract to open the first tilt in north america. If cp builds it and opens it first they’d be damaging that Vekoma relationship as this was likely discussed before CP acquired the ride. Its already being built no reason they couldnt open it with the park except that cotaland/vekoma contract. Similar to good gravy and snoopys soap box racers, good gravy was contracted to be the first in N america, and snoopys had to wait a few weeks to open. Silly stuff but its contract stuff way over the regular parkgoers heads im sure Cp would love to open it on opening day just might not work out like that with Cotaland and what not. I’d say its more on timeline management than six flags saying lets wait lol
As much as I am excited for Sirens Curse, I believe that it should not have been given to Cedar Point. I think parks Like SFDL, Valleyfair, Michigans adventure, Frontier City or even Great Escape could have use this coaster more.
I wonder how and why the Six Flags big wigs decided that CP should get this ride. was there arguing in the board room? I sure hope TT2 is running next year along with this one
Don't know why they are giving CP this hand me down coaster. Not tall enough. Not long enough. Terrible colors. Poor capacity. Just another gimmicky attraction. Glad I didn't renew my pass.
Prepared to be blown away. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction
Agreed same herep
I think sitting in the front row while that thing is tilting is going to be a very freaky experience
Sitting in The way back though
I feel like the front row is going to be amazing to ride in. I'm super excited and so lucky to live between both Cedar Point and Kings Island lol.
Looks like a fun coaster! The 2 min ride time is nice too!

Nice..
Its Gonna Be So Fun
Big time agreeeed
I’m more concerned about wether TT2 will ever be able to open again or not.
I'm excited for this. It will probably be in my top 5.

Wholeheartedly agree here it looks so fun

Our wildcat replacement!!! I was sitting by valravn thinking about the good times theater and wildcat yesterday 🤣 i agree though and i’m super excited

Its so cool we saw another view yesterday but didnt add it in we saw plot just wasnt sure cedar point would want me showing that lol
And yesssss it looks like its gonna be so close! Excited

I’m slightly excited for new age vekoma to be on the East Coast of the United States!!!!
It makes sense putting it there because Valravan and sirens curse holds you at the top before it drops you so it makes lots of sense for putting it in that area.
Agreed
So now with the merger, is the opening date going to be the Six Flags motto of it will open when it opens or an early May opening with the park.

Is this park ever gonna add some high thrill flats? I mean my goodness.

I think it's their... I'm sorry about tt2 coaster. Enjoy this one.
It's more of what parks could get a permit approved fast enough to not have this coaster sitting around in limbo
This should have gone in vortex’s old plot at KI
i lost count on how many times we've been asked to let you know what we think about the new coaster. lol
I wonder how and why the Six Flags big wigs decided that CP should get this ride. was there arguing in the board room? I sure hope TT2 is running next year along with this one
Im fine with it but i think it would have been better sokewhere else

Lotta people said the same when Maverick debuted lol I get its for some and not for others forsure
judge it once ridden
We are too
Good for you Karen Sanders..one less complainer in the park
