it comes from danish folk lore because a king died in battle and his body was never found/buried because the ravens at him. so i could see why they went with a castle theme but even then it is reaching lol

Or a B&M Giga like Fury 325. They could build one but it will never beat Millennium Force because of the trim brake on the floater hill.
I rode it once and the trim was off, it gave EXTREME negative Gs.

The same reason they added Valravn when there's two of them to the south. The GP (General Public) won't know any better, and the ride will have twists and turns which CP will say is different (like Fury325). They'll theme it after a NASCAR ride. It won't be #1 because of the trim brake, but the fans will eat it up just like they're doing for Valravn. I don't know why the lines for that ride are so long, it defies explanation. Almost because it's a drop ride and coaster at the same time. Maybe if CP could do a launched Fury400 that would blow people away. It would be the tallest traditional coaster on the planet.
I actually thought Valravn was good! I mean a GCI woodie would've been better but I still thought it was fun and I thought the hang time was fun! Also I liked the colour scheme

Millennium, maverick, and dragster are all MUCH better IMO
Then rougarou is slightly better, gatekeeper is better cause it's longer

How does it compare with the other coasters at CP?
+Rob's Rides well I'm no coaster enthusiast, but I think it's not to bad. Obviously it's new so it's very smooth, it's not really intense, but it's fun! In my opinion, it's better than Rougarou, but not as good as Raptor.

All cp needs is a b&m flying coaster and a RMC.
CP needs to surprise us like when they added Top thrill Dragster and Maverick (basicaly their Intamin era). Even if they add those, they will be great coasters, but they probably will be very similar to other flyers and RMCs (doubt it would be like Wildfire or Lightning Run), but just slightly bigger to say they broke records

I'd add a GCI to that as well, I know that KI has Mystic Timbers for 2017, but a GCI like Gold Striker but bigger would fix the one hole that Cedar Point has, no standout wood coaster.

Am I the only one who would prefer for Valravn to have the regular OSTRs? It would have 10 seats per row and you can put your hands up without feeling like your going to be suffocated.
Most B&M's aren't shaky and rough, putting the vest restraints on them is a buzzkill to say the least. Ruining the airtime hill on Gatekeeper, not way more loose on Valravn...I mean I can see it working for some of the old stand ups (though better replaced with floorless or sit down seats) but i wouldn't even want that on a invert let alone floorless, everything else, etc.
For me Korean B&M dive is better, because of better restraints. VEST ON DIVE IS NOT GOOD!!

Agreed... except he forgot to mention the rattle that makes it even worse... the drop does nothing due to the restraints and the rest of the ride is nothing special... Having ridden the three dive coasters in the U.S, Valravn is easily the worst.

One thing with the overlapping records... in actuality, tallest dive coaster and longest drop on a dive coaster aren't entirely the same, especially with dive coasters that drop into a tunnel like Oblivion at Alton Towers.
Of course, I'm sure you already knew that.

Actually I wouldn't, because I have a dive coaster already an hour away from Kings Dominion at Busch Gardens! And often times I like coasters better if they're farther away from me and I don't get on them as much, so if I was bias (which I'm not) then actually I would be bias towards Valravn. I've ridden 2 dive coasters now and I don't think either of them are that great. Doesn't matter where or what park its at.

Okay for one ride but not worth more than a 10 minute wait ever. Once you're off the lift and brakes the dang ride only lasts about 25 seconds. Nice vid but thumbs down on the actual ride.

Valravn does not win because of The Vest. You are pinned into the seat and don't float down the first drop. On Sheikra and Griffon, at least it's like a drop ride where you float down the 1st hill. Valravn is at the bottom of the Dive category and doesn't deserve any awards. But this year the GTAs are at CP, so guess who is going to win best new ride of the year? Too bad Lightning Rod had all those problems, it doesn't deserve to be ranked in any polls. Storm Chaser is a great ride, but not everyone went to KK.

They are getting a wing coaster behind i305 it's gonna be green and will be named African hawk look it up.
So I finally went to Cedar Point! Griffon is definitely better than Valravn. My one complaint is that there were parts of it that were actually somewhat rough. Mostly the bottom of the second drop. Also, the part where it hangs you over the first drop is very jerky. Millenium Force was ironically pretty force less with the exception being the bottom of the drop. It had an annoying Vibration throughout the ride, and the layout was pretty bland. Afterburn is much better than Raptor, and I would even prefer Hurler to Mean Streak. (Thank God it's closing). I personally really enjoyed Magnum, and I especially loved all the ejector air at the end. I would still prefer Intimidator 305 and Fury to anything at Cedar Point. Even with that being said Cedar Point is my favorite park to go to!
