  • This short monologue film is all about thinking. How thoughts create feelings. How thoughts can influence our realities. How people think in different ways. Obviously 4 minutes isn't enough time to get scientific about it but that's not really my style anyways.
I've always been deeply inspired by Buddhist thought and was influence by reading the Dhammapada recently to examine my own thoughts on... thought. Here is what I came up with.

Just caught ur last vid, very introspective. Welcome to the Great Awakening brother, a higher consciousness is coming for all humanity. We're on our way to a 5th dimension reality and I can't wait. Peace & Love

I wish I didn’t have an inner monologue. I mean. Not as constant anyway. I get back into biking or something… certain physical tasks get me into more of a flow state where my brain is less verbal I think…

Great video, but I have to tell you… I’m not gonna be accepting any more compliments from you… at least until I hear you compliment one other person first.

i like your work a lot, especially the images, and you seem like a decent person, but i disagree with almost everything you said in this video. CBT is a total crock. This "therapy" does not delve into any of the root causes that are making people suffer. It's a quick fix that means nothing. That's why insurance companies love it. Set a goal, and when someone achieves it, pronounce them "cured". That's a ton of BS. And what's with this compliment a day stuff? The last thing I want is to be complimented or even noticed. Just keep it moving, sir or madam. I'm doing just fine. Stop trying to be someone you're not, and embrace and accept who you are. If we are God's unwanted children, so be it! Sticking feathers up your ass does not make you a chicken, my friend.

The compliment thing isn’t necessarily for strangers. If you see or notice something you like about someone tell them and don’t be mushy about it maybe. I don’t know.
For me it’s about counteracting my deeply ingrained ways of being a curmudgeon all the time. It’s a waste of energy.
And the cbt stuff…I’ve never done it but that’s all I read about being worthwhile for a lot of conditions. I’ve definitely always felt that the Buddhist worldview minus the mystical mumbo jumbo is the closest by far to how I feel about the world.
I guess we disagree on some things. No problem at all. For myself I know that regular talk therapy is completely ineffective. I also know that almost every problem that I have in life was created by what I think or how I interpret events that are occurring around me.
I’m glad you like the other stuff! It’s nice to have diversity of thought.

@@MrYowen88 one feather. I don’t think two would fit.
