My controls are the same as my DMC4 controls for the most part:
Square=Melee
X=Jump
O=Devil Breaker
Triangle=Devil Bringer
R1=Lock-on
L1=Gun
L2=Ex
R2=DT
D-pad= Break Away
jesus christ i cant believe you beat standing urizen. His Vine attack is so hard to dodge and one fuck up is an entire restart. Unbelievable patience and skill. Good job

Congrats! This one definitely was the wall for me. Almost ended my whole Perfect S run. I always love your live notes making this more fun. I feel I should make more use of the Buster Hold now after seeing you use it, but I always feel I'm going to misjudge and take a hit, but it seems forgiving?
Thanks! The run before this one, i got hit only once by Urizen! I misjudged one of his close attacks so i landed on the ground thinking he will summon the tentacle (because he makes the same voice). But it wasn't, so i got hit and finished that run and killed him XD
I also felt it would be painful to keep restarting. Thankfully though, this mission doesn't force you to go through all fights. And after making simple strategies for each fight it started to feel like a routine and i started to feel more confident while fighting Urizen. Because that was the worst part! The constant worry that you may start the whole thing over makes you more nervous and cause some silly mistakes at times :D
I wish the loading times of this game are short or, they add an option to avoid playing all cutscenes. That would be very comfortable XD
Buster shield is very useful. Sometimes if an enemy could sneak from a weird angle they can hit you but projectiles are always guarded, from any angle i think.
Also, you could use DT buster hold and that will allow you to catch 2 enemies at once, making it hard for enemies to attack from any side or angle. This will make Nero almost invincible!
The worst thing is, my run I actually got hit by the tentacle at the start of the Urizen fight. Thankfully it didn't do damage? I still got the No Damage tag at the end. Might have been because I was in DT? And that note at 25:58 was WAY TOO REAL FOR ME. I saw that happen in slow motion and I felt that exactly as well!!
I was barely able to get a regular s rank. It'd take me forever to perfect s this lol

I haven't expericed that. However, I expericed a weird bug where some or at least one second is skipped sometimes and it's really annoying! It happened in my mission 2 and mission 7 videos.
@@XLHGladiator i saw. Happened to me several times and as far as I can tell it happens when videos are in the 15min time limit.
Or so I thought, here you fought your way for 20+ min and nothing dropped.

Also, I still do tend to go into the 2nd 'elevator' with the Empusa army and the Behemoth to get some points up. Since you basically arrive down there on SSS and with Devil Breakers prepared beforehand (no pun intended), Behemoth just gets deleted right away and maintaining SSS on a half-dozen Empusas is a cakewalk anyway.

It's worth to go and get the first three enemies. Go just near enough to trigger them and do the long taunt to gain SSS then DT and take them out with the most powerful attacks you have. This will net you about 6K points easily if done right
I avoid that taunt unless it was necessary. Didn't find it necessary in this situation. But thanks for the info :)
Congrats :D it is indeed a hard mission, but imo M10 is worse with scores and M18 with no damage part ( if Dr. Faust is excluded of course )
also for someone still trying to do this, after Urizen's ground-pound you have time for a Showdown there, but use it only during his Crystal phase

@@XLHGladiator It will be sure a challenge, but it's also annoying to use the EX Taunt most of the time, unless you wanna RG mostly which would be sick. :D The Score System there is really picky there, some people who did it was always too close at 6k.

Hey gladiator, just wanted to let you know that I found that you can cancel Nero's charged arm by unholding the devil breaker button during the animation of another attack such as a fully Charged Shot or Streak. I'm not sure if I have recored any, but you can try it.
I found this during my hellish journey to get a perfect s rank on mission 8 that I finally got today :D

I think that Nobody in the bloopers pooped out an eyeball right as you landed. As I've discovered during Hell and Hell and trying to No-Hit DMD, this game throws out tons of bullshit to get a hit in on you. It's some of the lamest cheese I've seen, then add in the camera being off by 5 degrees at times and screwing up the move you were trying to do, and then add in the auto-target picking a target a mile away instead of the enemy right next to you. Yeah, good times.

I use a similar strategy for those fast demons. Ragtime and I combo the fuck out of it and end it with the grab move.

I get 6000+ Style Points easy on the first three enemies, I'm surprised you don't go for them
he avoid any unnecessary fight, other than it is easier for the stylish points, it also lower the risk of getting hit. You see he will restart immediately if he just get hit once.
