I used to think that as well but honestly Urizen's slow tentacle attack isn't that hard to dodge on a consistent basis.. Just don't panic, use your jump's i-frames and jump TOWARDS the tentacle and you're good to go..
@@McGercekBaklava don't recall right now, I'm pretty sure it's the fully charged blue shot, the one you get from upgrades, that one hits hard and also has an explosion after some time if fully upgraded it. edit: oh also, if the crystal is giving you trouble, then don't skip on the bullet icons, it may look like it from 1 shot, but they're quick to dish out and add a lot of damage together. Blue shot + using the rest of the bullets is what I'd recommend in between attacks, they work very well for me.

Currently trying SoS difficulty after beating him on previous difficulties. Well, hard to say how many times I've fought him, but surely less than 200... But it's SoS, so it's more commandable. I can't even think how far I'll go with DMD. I think this video deserves much more views, than the mindless, but spectacular, combo ones of this game. THESE are the real challenges of this game, as well the platinum trophy one, as you have to achieve an S rank on all missions/difficulties. And in the end, consistency and innovatively effective ways are the key to become better at DMC 5, as its deep gameplay let the players explore it in their own unique way. I love it! Hats off mate!

Yes, it also depends on your playstyle. You can play it safely and secure your defense to not take unforgiving damages, or you can play it very aggressively and take risk but this way you’ll have to fight him a lot because any slight mistake is an almost game over. But good luck, it is the most satisfying victory l got in this game, high risk high reward !
my first time doing that mission as vergil I beat him, I was trying to speedrun the rest of the remaining missions so I was pissed that it made me go back to title screen
It should have been easy. Just swat the weakling and acquire the Qliphoth fruit in about 15 minutes. Shouldn’t take more than maybe 2. It had been ten minutes of non-stop fighting, and the child was winning. Swing by swing, blow by blow, he was being worn down. “Is this… my limit?” He couldn’t get back up. His body… his power, was no longer responding to him. Dante arrived, expecting to save the child, only to find him victorious. They seem to argue about something. If he could just… move away… the fruit could save him before he succumbs to his wounds or one of them finishes him off. He heard the tapping of a cane, and saw his weakness, exhausted. The last thing he felt without it was a cane driving through his skull.
Video Demon, absolutely YES ! He is by far the hardest boss in the game knowing he is on DMD difficulty and you’re supposed to lose here. In BP, the boss is Son of Sparda difficulty and it’s made to be killed. There is no equivalent to Mission 8 Urizen in DMD in the game in my point of view.

@@SmokingSurpyStyle yes urizen m8 is the hardest enemy in general but in bloody Palace in floor 99 and 100 urizen is still in dmd difficulty floor 100 is irrelevant but I just wanted to mention it as its still urizen but 99 is dmd difficulty too but has nothing to do with urizen m8 in all difficulties which you are supposed to lose especially dmd which is the hardest bit it's not SOS go see it if you must at about 1/5 of his health he will trigger his DT (the purple or dark blue aura that enemies and bosses have when in low hp or in some cases even immediately as they enter the fight because of using a taunt or if it is the last enemy)
vasilis metallinos. I will check again but it seemed to me that it wasn’t DMD difficulty for those 3 forms of Urizen except in the last 10/15% of their health, in bloody palace.

S ranking this mission on Devil Hunter is a bunch of bull. The only thing I try to getting the S Rank over and over again but I still keep getting A Ranks. It seems that the only way to get a S rank on this unnecessarily difficult mission is actually beating Urizen, which is harder than the prologue all because of those stupid tentacles he sends after you which are practically unavoidable. How am I supposed to S Rank this mission on Devil Hunter?! Please help me!
Here is what I do. Equipped the ex provocation, in the first battle, when you destroy all but one enemy left, grab him, hold him by holding the devil bringer button and do the dance. It will elevate your style point drastically. Do it the same for the multiple Empusa fight and you will get your rank point increase.

You can hold the charged shot cauge and at the same time use the devil breaker's special. How many fingers do you have in your hands?
