Thanks a ton for the kind words! We love that you appreciate Stickybones being crafted by industry animation vets. It’s super versatile-perfect for still-frame animations and pose references alike. Hearing how it helps bring your creative ideas to life really makes our day! 🙌
Recently the owner of A9 Armatures recently posted a comparison of Stickybones to the A9 ranger and as a previous owner of the A9, all it did was inform me of this figures existence and now I’m really considering purchasing it.
awesome video! loved the different tips and ideas of how to use the figure sprinkled in. i'll for sure be thinking about stickybones if i ever need a posing figure in the future!
Wow! This was a very well put-together video, I'm surprised to see only 33 views. Hope that gets fixed soon, haha :) A stcikybones is definitely going on my christmas wish list, it looks useful and I can definitely see myself having fun with one!
Loved the video! 🙌🏼 In my opinion these are way better than the Body Kun figures. I have those as well as another brand and while they look cool, they simply do not hold up to the extreme posing and use you can get from Stickybones. I really enjoy using mine. Look forward to more of your videos!😃
100% Agree, I see Body-Kun as figures for artist who want to learn a base for anatomy or need more structure in form. A more novice artist however would be in need of something that is sturdy and can get flexible posing. 😁 Thank you! Hope to have more content soon!
I’ve quietly wanted a Stickybones for a long time! I saw it mainly advertised for stop-motion animation, but all I could see was the potential for helping my traditional art!! I also have a Bodykun and Bodychan! They’re *okay*… but Chan is so damn fragile… my first one’s arm snapped minutes out of the box! Kun can tolerate posing, but he’s also stiff. They’re so intensely gendered too, I much prefer the abstract-skeleton look!
I agree with what you say. The flexibility and durability for a stickybones is second to none compared to a bodykun/chan. I also find that the range of motion (like crossed arms and legs) are drastically limited by the plastic for bodykun/chan.
By the looks of it, IT LOOKS AWESOME. I might maybe get one. But Im not like super super good at drawing but I do draw. But I would definitely use stickybones for my stop motions and pictures.
Hello, getting back into drawing and wanted to ask do you think as a beginner, a combination of sticky bones for poses and kun/chan combo for musculature would be a good idea?
If you are looking to improve accurate musculature (and using stickybones for poses) I would recommend getting a 3dtotal Anatomy figure. This would help a little more then a body-kun. If you are going for a more stylized approach kun/chan would work just fine.
How I learned was the long way of trial and error. Copying/observing either art work/artist I really enjoy or starting with the basics. (which can be boring but are very important). What I recommend if you want to see progress is to start with learning to draw 3D shapes. Stack them together and try perspective. Next would be learning how to create contrast using value then apply this to things you see everyday. (like trying to dry whats on your desk/table) These are form the elements of art, and are always the best place to start. Let me know if this helps, I would love to see what you create. :)
This is the size I was expecting one of these other types when I bought one , should of checked the size but when they came I was very dissappointed how small they were. These stickybones seem the ideal size.I was put off by the price but they have a sale that doesn't put me off so much.
T-13's are quite decent. I wish they were made with actual plastic rather than 3d printed material. I've made a few animations with t-13 and they are fine. I'm sure stickybones are better but I unfortunately don't have one because they cost a lot

Hey there! Thanks so much for this amazing video and review. We truly appreciate it-it absolutely melts our hearts!
Thank you for your kind comment! I'm excited to see the amazing products you’ll be releasing in the future and would love to review them.
I actually prefer StickyBones as its made by animation vets of the industry. It can also be used for still frame animations as well as pose reference.
Yes, I believe this is why it has such great articulation for those more intricate poses.

As a person who got a sticky bones and after using other art figures i can't lie sticky bones is perfect for a thing on your desk to mess around with
Honestly, yes. When I dont use it, I love putting it in random poses that make no sense.

I’m curious if you’ve gotten your own Stickybones yet? 🙈
@@Stickybones I’ve got the tab open in my browser. I’m waiting but still planning on picking one up.

Thank you so much! Yeah it was surprisingly versatile for something that seems so simple.
Better than:
T13
Stikbot
Klikbot
Sh figurearts
Lego
Every stop motion thing
Explanation:
It has moving fingers
I could get behind that explanation. 😆
I have a good collection of T13s, I can't wait to use this.
It’s is a Great item for Art nice video sis👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
looks cool, I might consider purchasing one

hes $77 now on there site im definetly grabbing one awsome video
Oooh! Yes, that is a great deal considering the original price.

Definitely do it! They are advertised as a stop motion character tool so this would fit perfectly for you.

It is also a very nice toy to play with 😊
It’s like a stick bots, cooler, older brother
Precisely :D
And the t13 is like the middle child lol
I own of these 10/10 ❤
How did you learn to draw? I'd really love to start but have no idea how/where?

This is what t13 failed to become.

Ngl felt disappointed you didn’t do a comparison to body kun when you stated it in the thumbnail other than that it was a really nice video
Ill remember that for my next review video, thank you :)
Where can i buy?
Why is it so expensive😭😭😭😭
www.stickybones.com/
They are currently having a 40% sale, don’t know how long they last.
i really wanted them but there so expensive
I recommend waiting for a holiday sale, sometimes they have a good deal.
I just got mine it came with a missing finger tip other than that its great
wish they make five fingered hands in the future for people who wish to draw hands with five fingers
They do have interchangeable pre-posed hands that can be swapped. However the selection is limited.
It’s prefect TWT
Definitely worth the price in quality and use. 😁
Be careful with the hand sets they sell...they aren't cat proof...one is now missing a index finger.
Ha, yes the hands definitely wont survive.
Sticky bones vs body kun sticky bones win but
T13 vs stikbot =we dont know
Is a war of toys gonna start 😮
A test of this theory would have to be made.

*Than
Body-kun is not great at all. The range of poses is SOOOOO limited. My sentinel Miles Morales does a better job as a mannequin than the body-kun.
Yup, especially in the shoulder joint when having to go across the chest. The bodykun is not designed well for flexibility.
Body Chan looks better this one looks awfully gross 🤢🤢🤢🤢!
I think 💭 sticky bones 🦴 is good but I going to get t13
T13? I have yet to hear of these. They are fairly new?
@@artscribblistudio6362they are fairly awful
