In today’s video my mom does a silk press on my natural hair. I also show my progress through my natural hair journey.
My hair is finally growing in the back, those who seen my Hair Virgin Fertilizer video you know that in the past from wearing wigs I got traction alocepcia and my hair was not trying to grow. I used HVF to grow my hair back and now I got a little growth. By this time next year I will have some hang time 😂

I'm mixed race so my siblings have beautiful straight hair but I don't. All my life I hated My hair because I would see how easy there hair was to take care of while mine was an absolute nightmare.
However they would always tell me they thought I had the best hair out of all of them. I would always angrily disagree.
Today I realise that they were right. My natural hair is beautiful and so versatile. I can wear it natural or straight and for the first time in my life I really appreciate how beautiful black hair is

When we used to just go to a Dominican or Mom's friend Gloria who was also a beautician and did our hair since we were 5! lol

@@JaKaylaCaprice haha heat damage. I'm trying to go back to basics now. I loved this video! I'm 4 months post complete shave and tried the Holcomb today and my hair stretched but wasn't straight.
Lol back in the day is where the perms and relaxers came from. Everyone Ik had relaxers.
I love getting my twa pressed and curled! I'm also glad that it's growing.

My hair is the same texture as yours. It's so tough to manage it on my own. I get frustrated trying to do anything to it. I just rock my fro and keep it moving. 🤣
This is so random but I love those dryers with the comb. They’re easy to use and get the job done quickly. Most stylists now use a brush. I’m like how and why??!!

tight bristle or rows makes hair straighter during blow dry process. which you only should have to use one or two passes with the flat iron
