  • This is a nifty little motorcycle scissor lift that I picked up on Amazon for $80. My old lift from Tusk is nice, but only rated for 300 lbs. The old DR650 that I'm working on is around 400 lbs. This one seems solid, and it's rated for 1,100 lbs.
Here's a link to it on Amazon:

I have a same design, different brand and they sure do work well. (KL is the one I have) Impact instead of a drill to operate it. . My friendly local shop uses the same one. Great idea for sure.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try my impact driver with it next time 👍

@@HighDesertHills I've a similar jack that came with my motorcycle lift. I've been using it with a 1/2" dewalt drill for 19 years. I lube the bearing and screw. I've never felt the need to beat it up with an impact.

I bought a harbor freight lift cart to work on my bike it gets it up to waste level and is super stable weight limit of 500 pounds , two straps over pegs and its super stable

Nice. I’ve considered getting this one from Harbor Freight. It sounds similar, but it holds 1,000 lbs. www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-steel-motorcycle-lift-68892.html
The $600 price tag was a bit much at the moment though, and I’d need to make more space in my garage before I could swing something like that.

Mine is not for motorcycles it is a lift cart like for a shop I actually bought it to lift spare tire off my jeep for rotations but works great to get the bike upp where it is easy to work on

I got one of them lifts make sure you rebuild the master cylinders due to age and calipers to. SHINDY is made in Japan most likely available.
