Thank you! Comments like yours are so important to me! I love getting feedback, and it's great to know that people like you are enjoying what I'm doing.
Great video, Scott. Disney was lucky to have someone like you who felt compelled to photograph and document, especially at this pivotal time period for the company.
Yes! Walt had serious considered a "Mickey Mouse Park" across from the Disney Studios. It would have been small with little room for expansion so it's a good thing he ended up going to Anaheim. I think it's the area where the "new" Animation Building is today.
What a great video!!! I’ve never heard that story about you receiving that letter and 86 bucks!!! Sooooo cool!!! Someday I want to go back take pictures of all my favorite legends hand prints.
I'm glad you liked the video! That's my goal! And it's funny because when my boys were watching they said they never knew that story of the executive dining room mural contest either! It's amazing to me that out of the entire studio and Imagineering, there were only 29 entries. It's like the Disney Legends ceremonies - I was always amazed that more people didn't go but I just always try to get involved in every Disney opportunity.
You have, once more, done a brilliant joy. Thank you. You brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you for your touching comment! I know the studio holds particularly special memories for you and I'm glad you feel I did it justice.
I love this series, as a long time Disney fan this is a lot of fun to watch, thanks so much scott for sharing this awesome stuff

Was there supposed to be a theme park here and they decided not to make it?
