I have all of these except the swelling. I did not even swell in pregnancy. I am really worried because when my doctor runs the basic kidney panel they all come back fine but I have all these symptoms.
I’ve been having swelling my feet ankles hands, having to run to get to bathroom and go at night. Fatigue, and yes I have shortness of breath I can’t tell the difference because they say I have asthma. Plus my lower back pain . I had blood work and it comes back ok. Am very concerned about this swelling. I have a few symptoms on your list 6 out of 7. How do I find out what type of edema do I have if I have it. ?
In 2018 I was tired and sleeping a lot. Good thing it was time for my yearly physical. My dr let me know that my kidneys were not functioning right. To make a long story short, I ended up having multiple myeloma. I'm doing good. Haven't been on any meds since 2021. Another thing is look for ridges in your nails. I have to have blood drawn monthly to watch the levels of my creatinine and kappa lt chainz

This is my Nephrologist, and she is the best. Her office staff is awesome too. They took me through all of the tests, exams, etc. I was okay in the end, but it was good to know that I was in good hands. And yes, she is this beautiful in person. Thanks doc

@Dr.Frita, I have stage 3 kidney disease because I donated my left kidney 17 years ago (March 27, 2007) and the older I get, I have a nephrologist, dietician and primary care PA, that keeping me off of dialysis. I was 33 when I donate my kidney to my childhood friend. I take iron supplements for the anemia and I will be 50 this September 2024. Every 3-6 months I have labs done to monitor my progress or distress. I've been healthier at stage 2 kidney disease and hope to maintain this range in the future.

I got diagnosed with CKD (nephrotic syndrome$ when I was 17 and I still take medications everyday to maintain the kidney function I still have. GOD has been good to me. I'm having terrible fatigue at the moment, my doctor put it down to the chemotherapy I was having only to find out my from my urine sample that theres high amount of protein in my urine. He claimed it could be my blood pressure but thats normal at 118/79. Now hes saying it could be my kidneys. Im so glad i come across this video to understand more about the sign and symptoms of kidney disease.
Thank you Dr for this important information. I'm 73 yrs old and my last blood test showed renal issue. I was working from home and noticed a pain in my right lower back and quit my position in November 2023. In December, my primary doctor gave me a script for more blood tests and urine analysis in 90 days. In the meanwhile I am removing Black licorice, peanuts; (which I enjoyed), and removing all processed foods including milk, soup and bread. I'm back to exercising daily and I'm going to include more apples, red seeded grapes, watermelon, pineapple, lemon water, bananas, kale cauliflower onions, garlic, wild salmon, in my diet. I also start my day with 16 oz lemon water, and 8 oz lemon water before lunch and dinner. I make sure drink 1/2 my weight in ounces of water each day. I'm praying and doing everything in my power to loose the 15 lbs I'd gained last year and returning to healthy kidneys. God bless you.

I was told I have kidney stenosis after complaining of left flank pain. I have a small rash on left and right leg, I have swelling of ankles sometime. I have leg cramps unless I take my electrolyte powder and sometimes les or frequent urination depending on if I'm drinking less or more water and I go mostly at night. 1 blood test my bun creatine was high but now it's not. At least my last blood test it wasn't. I really appreciate this video because I've learned a lot in this 16 minutes. Thank doc, I may have to call you for more advice on what I should do
@Annjenkins806 yes but now my creatinine is low and he just ordered a cholesterol test so I go Friday to see him again. He also sent me to a vascular doc and he ordered test for my blood pressure but not sure what test shows either

Information was so informative, I was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease, I have 90% of the symptoms that you spoke of, now added to my symptoms now is brain fog, I can’t remember some simple things, I see my doctor every three months now am 68 yrs old, my ankles stay swollen, trying my best to drink more water, would love to have a conversation with you!

I have had to take many different kinds of anti-inflammatories over the years & I believe they have been responsible for my being diagnosed with CKD on paper, I am researching & trying to learn how to stop the progression of this disease - I am 78 years young & plan to be around another 20 + years & believe it’s never to late to change your habits
I really have most of this symptoms, Short of breath, unitary infection, back pains, regular urinating, heaviness of the heart and also severe headache 😢😢 all this are happening to me right now
My specialist could never find out why I was having reoccurring track infection.. Later, I was diagnosed with Stage one prostate cancer. it was an insight hearing from you the signs of track infection that my urologist never figured it out . Thank you for the insight. I do have kidney problems.

I have been having a terrible headache in over 1 year, when I go to doctors they say that I am too young and look healthy to be sick. I was back and forth to the hospital but they have no idea what to do so they sent me home every time. But the other doctor check my blood pressure, it was up to 200 so they checked everything and they said after a month that I have shrinking kidneys and hypertension. After years they said that I have chronic kidney disease at stage 3. And now I get smaller pain in the back that lasted weeks. Couple months from now they will check me again

I have a few of those symptoms. I see a doctor for it. Idohave ckd. My blood pressure is what caused mine. But I'm working with it. And my blood pressure is under control now but I have A-fib as well but I'm not giving up. I trust in God.

I experience low back pain, anemia, fatigue, and cloudy urine and shortness of breath😢. I have had kidney infections and UTIs before. Even got my bladder checked nothing came up. Ugh idk I’m making and appointment now
I didn't know frequent urination could be a sign. I have CKD stage 3a due to PKD and I've just been worried about decreased urine production. Also, can PKD in both kidneys cause low back pain or discomfort? I'm going to look to see if you have a PKD video now that i found you. 😊
My mother have at least six of those symptoms I’m going to reach out to her and her doctor to see if she can get her kidneys check. She is taking a lot of medication. She has high blood pressure and diabetes as well and it seems as if maybe with all her medication and her thyroid medication might be affecting her kidneys thank you for sharing this. God bless.
My Daughter passed away in March 2022. After her passing my health took a turn for the worse. I am diabetic, after she passed my blood sugar levels were out of control. A1C has been as high as 14+. I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, & my kidney function is low 36% and that is the function in both kidneys. I have had urinary tract infection, bladder and kidney infection. I take antibiotics and 3-4 days after I finish my antibiotics the infection is back. I have been hospitalized for mersa , pancreatitis, kidney stones and infections over the past year. I feel extremely tired, difficulty sleeping, nauseous after eating. I am seeing a nephrologist, urologist, and now a cardiologist. Thank you for ll your Information.

I want to thank you for making this video. 6 months ago i was diagnosed with renal cell carsenoma. Ive been struggling for a long time with stuff that made no sense. Partially because i have so much going on i.e. aortic aneurysm, emphazyma, 5 herniated discs just in lumbar, torn rotator cuff and knee ligament. I was hospitalized in feb for deep vein thromboses and a partially collapsed lung. In imaging the living ng they found a 2.1 cm spot on! the right kidney. I went back to work in may and one week i worked 4 days. Usually 1 or 2. I just went back last wee after missing a month plus reasons for over a year extreme fatigue, every morning waking up projectile vomiting unless empty then dry heave, and my knees and ankles keep swelling rediculously and i have to lay packed in ice and elevated its so painful, the nausea was gone for the last week but today i woke up staggering and sick. Could barely walk in the store for a donut and back out and im doing all i can to not cry in frustration and my wife says what papa ? Shes so supportive id rather have you home resting but that doesn't help her pay bills. Its so frustrating i don't feel like a man anymore. Then i saw this and i said lets see. I have some peace of mind the rashes and lil pimples all over. Skin always itching i carry a back scratcher on my med bag that goes everywhere i do. I keep getting cloudy urine and pain in the kidneys and lower back that hits in waves all symptoms of kidney stuff and my local hospital leaves me feeling like im a nut like im a nuisance. I’m on a Parp inhibitor for platinum resistant ovarian cancer. I e been NED since 2017! The Parp that I am on is something I’ve responded well to because I have the BRACA mutations. I manage the CKD that it has caused me to have by drinking as much water as I can and going on drug holidays from time to time as well. TY for the information! PS/ I have and have suffered with frequent UTIs for decades.. but it became much worse in the last few years. But the two don’t seem to be connected. My kidneys never get affected.

I have stage 3 kidney disease because of long term highblood pressure and this went on for years, the clinic would give me medication for highblood pressure failed to bring down my pressure. so I went to a nephrologist Dr. Eastmem and gave me meds, and my pressure went down. I think you need to ber very aware of you blood pressure.

May I ask, exactly what tests did she order? This way many will know if their doctor is doing what's right.

I have had to take many different kinds of anti-inflammatories over the years & I believe they have been responsible for my being diagnosed with CKD on paper, I am researching & trying to learn how to stop the progression of this disease - I am 78 years young & plan to be around another 20 + years & believe it’s never to late to change your habits
I really have most of this symptoms, Short of breath, unitary infection, back pains, regular urinating, heaviness of the heart and also severe headache 😢😢 all this are happening to me right now

My specialist could never find out why I was having reoccurring track infection.. Later, I was diagnosed with Stage one prostate cancer. it was an insight hearing from you the signs of track infection that my urologist never figured it out . Thank you for the insight. I do have kidney problems.
I'm in stage 4 kidney failure my doctors don't care about me at all so hopefully I can do this on my own I have two babies who need me!

I have been having a terrible headache in over 1 year, when I go to doctors they say that I am too young and look healthy to be sick. I was back and forth to the hospital but they have no idea what to do so they sent me home every time. But the other doctor check my blood pressure, it was up to 200 so they checked everything and they said after a month that I have shrinking kidneys and hypertension. After years they said that I have chronic kidney disease at stage 3. And now I get smaller pain in the back that lasted weeks. Couple months from now they will check me again
Stop eating meat and dairy and take calcium carbonate and sodium carbonate. No foods that are high in potassium.

I have a few of those symptoms. I see a doctor for it. Idohave ckd. My blood pressure is what caused mine. But I'm working with it. And my blood pressure is under control now but I have A-fib as well but I'm not giving up. I trust in God.

I experience low back pain, anemia, fatigue, and cloudy urine and shortness of breath😢. I have had kidney infections and UTIs before. Even got my bladder checked nothing came up. Ugh idk I’m making and appointment now
I didn't know frequent urination could be a sign. I have CKD stage 3a due to PKD and I've just been worried about decreased urine production. Also, can PKD in both kidneys cause low back pain or discomfort? I'm going to look to see if you have a PKD video now that i found you. 😊

My Daughter passed away in March 2022. After her passing my health took a turn for the worse. I am diabetic, after she passed my blood sugar levels were out of control. A1C has been as high as 14+. I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, & my kidney function is low 36% and that is the function in both kidneys. I have had urinary tract infection, bladder and kidney infection. I take antibiotics and 3-4 days after I finish my antibiotics the infection is back. I have been hospitalized for mersa , pancreatitis, kidney stones and infections over the past year. I feel extremely tired, difficulty sleeping, nauseous after eating. I am seeing a nephrologist, urologist, and now a cardiologist. Thank you for ll your Information.

I want to thank you for making this video. 6 months ago i was diagnosed with renal cell carsenoma. Ive been struggling for a long time with stuff that made no sense. Partially because i have so much going on i.e. aortic aneurysm, emphazyma, 5 herniated discs just in lumbar, torn rotator cuff and knee ligament. I was hospitalized in feb for deep vein thromboses and a partially collapsed lung. In imaging the living ng they found a 2.1 cm spot on! the right kidney. I went back to work in may and one week i worked 4 days. Usually 1 or 2. I just went back last wee after missing a month plus reasons for over a year extreme fatigue, every morning waking up projectile vomiting unless empty then dry heave, and my knees and ankles keep swelling rediculously and i have to lay packed in ice and elevated its so painful, the nausea was gone for the last week but today i woke up staggering and sick. Could barely walk in the store for a donut and back out and im doing all i can to not cry in frustration and my wife says what papa ? Shes so supportive id rather have you home resting but that doesn't help her pay bills. Its so frustrating i don't feel like a man anymore. Then i saw this and i said lets see. I have some peace of mind the rashes and lil pimples all over. Skin always itching i carry a back scratcher on my med bag that goes everywhere i do. I keep getting cloudy urine and pain in the kidneys and lower back that hits in waves all symptoms of kidney stuff and my local hospital leaves me feeling like im a nut like im a nuisance. I go Saturday for an mri to compare and contrast. What area are you in? Thank you for the peace of mind

I’m on a Parp inhibitor for platinum resistant ovarian cancer. I e been NED since 2017! The Parp that I am on is something I’ve responded well to because I have the BRACA mutations. I manage the CKD that it has caused me to have by drinking as much water as I can and going on drug holidays from time to time as well.

I have stage 3 kidney disease because of long term highblood pressure and this went on for years, the clinic would give me medication for highblood pressure failed to bring down my pressure. so I went to a nephrologist Dr. Eastmem and gave me meds, and my pressure went down. I think you need to ber very aware of you blood pressure.

What can I do right now to help reverse this. Is there any natural remedies or food I should be eating more of.
