Romania should have this music played every day at a bar or anywhere because it sounds exciting to listen to. Teens in Romania should listen to Enescu pieces more often.
344 views for one of the most amazing pieces of music and over 10 milion views for a bieber song...i think the world is messed up big time! good job uploading this! thank you
Great Music and I would say a forgotten set european genius among Bartok and others . Thank you for posting this work; I analyzed it and used for composition sonata model. Superb technique and sensibility in choosing the thematic management and development !! Thank you !!
From The Guardian: "Describing the scene, Diana later wrote: "Yehudi talked to him of music, and at one point Enescu turned to the piano and ran his sadly twisted hands over it as though it were an extension of his own being... I noticed the frayed tie, the shabby jacket, the waxen face with its clean, beautiful bones and serene eyes... " It is a deeply moving picture of a man utterly devoted to music whose life ended tragically. His music deserves a better fate." www.theguardian.com/music/2002/oct/25/classicalmusicandopera.artsfeatures
A very interesting point. I remember reading elsewhere that, in the late 1920's Paris, he took the young Yehudi Menuhin to a performance of a gamelan orchestra from Indonesia.
