    For more on the deck check out the article here: www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/budget-magic-82-gleeful-8-whack-modern
    Also, a lot of people have been asking about artifact lands. I tried the MH2 ones and found that coming into play tapped made them too slow for the deck. I also tried Darksteel Citadel, but being colorless was too much of a drawback, especially since Goblin Bushwhacker costs double red to kick, so I cut them. You can give them a try, but my experience was they weren't worth it, even though they do have some cute synergy with Gleeful Demolition.

      Your list is interesting, it's quite different from the other lists that play Synthesizer and star to grind out more value if the initial explosive start doesn't work out.
      Yours feels a little more "all in" perhaps? I did also find having as many free spells as possible was amazing for RB.
      Curious how you felt about the signal pests? Not sure if I should be squeezing them in or not.
      I do think Voldaren Epicure is worth the include though - gives you a creature and an artifact to sac, and the one damage ping is nice and filtering through bad draws with the blood token.

    • @ChaosForce08
      @ChaosForce08 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yaboibanana33 I agree that this is a more "all-in" version, and it makes sense to not have Synth in an "all-in" version while something like AspiringSpike's version is maximizing being good against spot removal (and is more resilient in general at the cost of speed if unimpeded).

    Not sure if you considered it, but I actually like Voldaren Epicure over Foundry Street Denizen in this type of deck. Same cost, gives you an artifact to sac or filter/card advantage, and does 1 damage. The only slight drawback is that it's not a goblin for goblin grenade. But I really like having just a bunch of vanilla 1/1 so opponents targeted removal doesn't have clear best options. They often end up just taking more damage waiting for something "worth" killing, like a Foundry Street or Signal Pest.

    • @faceoctopus4571

    I feel like Void Mirror to just say no to Cascade out of the board would be pretty good - Rhinos/Living End seems like one of the only decks that can easily say no to your plan. Even Control is likely to be too slow, as we saw here, but being able to make fast blockers or wipe with a pitched Fury is absolutely backbreaking for this kind of aggro. Plus Void Mirror is 20 cents, it's a very budget option.

    Nice! No artifact lands, though? Those give you more artifacts for the synergy :D

      Unfortunately, the colored artifact lands are banned in modern (I think because of affinity)

      I tried the artifact lands, but Darksteel Citadel being colorless was a problem and the tapped ones from MH2 were too slow.

  • @brianh5844
    @brianh5844 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you ever just play Ragavan in the deck? I know it doesn't exactly have synergy, but it's also just so powerful on its own that maybe the deck gets better anyway. It fits the aggro plan and technically, it does make artifacts.

      Yeah, if this wasn't explicitly budget you might as well. Probably replace foundry street
