Holy crap you guys. I thought it’d take me months, if not years, if not never to hit 1k subs. I’m super overwhelmed that y’all enjoyed this mad video I made. Thank you so much, you lovely spicy people ❤️❤️❤️

They are magical cuthulu bait rocks. also Tarkir goblins genders have different colored fur. White=male, Red=female.

I refuse to believe that such a spicy channel just popped up mere weeks ago. Were you a victim of Sarkhan's meddling of time? Or did Memnarch kidnap you, but you managed to escape? Perhaps you were one of the goblins that Slobad sent home? Or maybe you were a slave in another MTG TH-camr's editing dungeons, but you finally revolted and went off to start your own channel. So many questions. Oh and great video btw.
BlueBeardedDevil you're so fkn kind wtf. That was such a lovely compliment, this is my first and only bit of video editing I've done so I'm still finding my footing but I'm so glad it seems professional!
I was complaining about the lack of depth on Fiora Goblins, then I realized that you could do a thirty minute episode on just that and still not cover it. And I could say the same for nearly every other plane that all have a depth of history for this tribe, some a lot more depth than others. Now I'm amazed you were able to cover as much as you did in such a short amount of time. Thank you for the content!
Thanks so much for saying that. I absolutely wished I could have gone into more depth but I wasn't confident in producing a video that was over an hour at that point in the channel ya know.

Thank you for the weeks of godless research that led to this awesome video! Also as a side note, I think the new goblin appearance in battle for Zendikar can easily excuse the inconsistency for being so visually interesting. I've been playing Magic for years and enjoy the lore but have never been to into it; I can honestly say that this video has made me appreciate the lore (and not just the flavor) more than all other Magic media combined. The Magic story is really only exceptional when you tie it back to how the story is told through an amazing card game, and you strike exactly the right balance of unpacking the story itself and explaining how the story is told through the cards/mechanics. Your tone is also perfect; acknowledging the ridiculousness of the story (this isn't Game of Thrones-level intricate high fantasy) while still showing your deep appreciation for it. Once you develop a bit more of a following, try setting up a Patreon to facilitate a steady video output; I would be a day-one Patron. Seriously, keep it up.

Watching some of these videos while level grinding, finally glad to see that Mill v Discard has finally come out and that is no longer driving you mad.
i dont know what a mtg or any of this is. i dont know why this was recommended to me. but fuck it's the most interesting thing i've watched this year, for what that statement is worth.
I love how informative your videos are, and they're really fun to watch/listen to. One thing though: the "o" in "minotaur" isn't a short "i" sound, it's an unaccented syllable, so it makes the schwa sound, or "uh"
Even if I didn't play a mono red goblin deck, this is still one of my new top favorite MtG related videos, BUT I DO! AND THIS VIDEO IS MAGNIFICENT! Seriously, thank you for this. The dedication to detail in this is just amazing. Above and beyond effort.
Thank you so much, this has always been something that was bugging me a lot, and you answer so many of my questions on goblins... this was wonderful ! almost a piece of art.
Shadowmoor's Hobgoblins are one of my favorite tribes or groups in all of Magic the Gathering. Hard workers and respectable, yet quick to turn to violence if their borders are crossed. Wait, are hobgoblins Russian goblins?

This was a great and highly informative video! I would love similar videos for each iconic and characteristic race, but I understand how time-consuming that would be.
"The Boros banner stands tall even if its bearer doesn't."
Wow this was amazing! Thanks for putting in so much effort homie, keep it up
I need a Video for every big tribe! i need it!! Pls do Vampire, Merfolk and Dragons.
Vampire, definitely. Merfolk, also good. But do you really want to murder the man with that third choice there?
As someone who has played mono red goblins in magic for nearly 5 years now and has 3 other mono red decks I can say this has been the best video I've seen you make. My other magic friends love it too!
This was pretty neat
Watching some of these videos while level grinding, finally glad to see that Mill v Discard has finally come out and that is no longer driving you mad.
i dont know what a mtg or any of this is. i dont know why this was recommended to me. but fuck it's the most interesting thing i've watched this year, for what that statement is worth.
Wow! What a compliment, thank you!
I love how informative your videos are, and they're really fun to watch/listen to. One thing though: the "o" in "minotaur" isn't a short "i" sound, it's an unaccented syllable, so it makes the schwa sound, or "uh"
If you want to go down the rabbit hole again, do a history of vampires.
Innistrad and Zendikar are incredibly unique.
That beat @6:08 I see you.
Brockhampton sample.
This is a stupendous masterpiece. Thank you so much for your months of hard work!!
How about your next video is just a 2 hour reading of every single goblin card that has ever been printed
I’ll do something that self destructive for a 1K subscriber special if I get that far hahaha

Boy Memnarch would have been in for a rude awakening after the mending
6:05 The QUEER instrumental
22:15 The Crosshairs instrumental
both great songs
After seeing this video, goblin slayers spark ignited
"There are EVEN MORE GOBBBBBLIIIINSSSSS!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!"
*Goblin Murdering rage increases*
This is a wonderful combination of insight and comedy. I'm falling in love with your channel!
Jesus.. I watch it all.. I don't even like Goblins.
Very entertaining as always my friend!
Connar Banks Your support means the world to the goblins in my head
found your channel by the "entire history in 10 minutes" video. love your style of videos. plus, was pleasantly surprised by the use of Kirby by Aesop Rock near the end of the video. Happy to have subscribed today.
Nothing adds subscribers better then a blatant threat
this video essay is very well done and entertaining to watch. You have earned another subscribble
Ozgarthefighter GOTTA GET ME THEM BIG SCROBBLES (Thank you!)
Goblin Slayer must be very proud of you
I still really need that Ethical Differences between Mill and Discard video. I can't wait for more content!
You started with the goblin tribe. Now you only have left the merfolk, elves, kithkin, elementals, fairy, humans, angels, demons, shapeshifter, eldrazi, kor, vampire, azra, homonculus, cat people, dragons, bird people, horrors....
Have fun
Don't forget the Beebles!
By " bird people " you mean avens? Or were there other bird people?
@@kairussell7372 By 'avens' do you mean 'Avens'? Or is there some other race of bird people who don't use proper grammar that I don't know about?
@@howsjames1 lol you sound like you need a hug. We're commenting we're not writing a thesis. You knew what I meant right... I almost guarantee there's other bird people in MTG. God forbid you ask an honest question you'll have some pussy 14 year old being an asshole because he's hiding behind anonymity.
@@howsjames1 comments like that are considered a dick move in bird culture
Top tier video essay, my man. Thoroughly entertaining.
Yay, it succeeded in doing what I intended of it :D Thanks so much for such a nice comment.
