The white flower is a type of penstemon (penstemon digitalis or beardtongue ). So pretty! And lovely hike!
I agree, it looks like Foxglove Beardtongue.
I like the dragonfly idea-they are bad this year-and they really like bald guys like me!!
thanks for the hike Cliff!
The dragonfly idea is genius!!!!
Those finger funguses looked spooky.
I like hiking but don’t like bugs. Thanks for the adventure.
Cliff, absolutely love your hiking vids!!! Thank you for sharing.
Really like the wooded parts of this trail; lots of interesting things along the way. Thanks!
What a beautiful park that is. All that green is quite lovely. Loved that little bird, so pretty. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
Thanks awesome places I enjoyed watching
On the trail early.....
Clearing the morning spider webs....
No one insight ....
Plan on taking a break....and....wait for it..... the people show up... 😂
This won't work for Cliff since he is recording, but to deal with bugs in the summer I use a clip on fan to blow air around my face. That works really well at keeping the bugs out of my face. The force of the air is to much for them to fly through. I also use bug spray on my arms and back of neck.
when you come across a flower you cant identify it would great if you would post the name
Definitely gonna try the dragonfly trick!!
Nice water
This is so weird. Those finger things that you saw, I just saw them online the other day. They were as big as a human hand. And they sure do look like fingers. I forget what they were called, Devil's fingers maybe devil's hands something like that but I'm not sure. I really like this hike. Some of those houses were really nice. I would've peeked in the window of that 1 for sale. Also, I like your shirt. Also, that damsel fly was awesome! Safe travels. ❤❤❤❤
I've seen beavers in that creek before - no joke. I might try the dragonfly trick, thanks. Watch for the vernal pools next time.
Nice trail.
Love your channel Cliff! Would you please consider some advice from a former paramedic / hiker like myself! Wear snake gaiters! Thanks for sharing your adventures. God bless & stay safe!
On to the next please
Please do more cemetery videos
I totally hate the biting black or horse flies not sure if they are different where you are from what we get out west. Park was a nice spot.
Cliff,
Better than the last section.
Does the camera exaggerate the sound, because when my iPhone 13 pro makes things a lot louder.
Lovely areas, great foliage.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
I use an external microphone.
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 Go it! Thankd
Rik
Spider webs are the reason I let someone else hike in front of me.
Am I the only one who saw that hole in the road as a future disaster waiting to happen?
From Pinchot park to the Manchester area is virtually all road walk for miles. For your safety I would do a dashcam video because there is little shoulder along those roads. Don't be a bloody hero, nobody should expect you hike where there is no trail. If you do want to walk, at least wear safety clothing.
