In 2016 we moved to Vancouver temporarily for one year. We started this TH-cam channel to hold us accountable to make the most out of our one year. Unfortunately, viewing someones life through the lens of social media can bring ones priorities into question. This is our story about the city that changed our life, and how what you see on social media doesn't always equal reality.

Well I don't know about anyone else but I'M OFFENDED by how amazing this video is. I'm UNSUBSCRIBING(and then immediately re-subscribing) in protest of you guys being too great. If you don't stop being so fantastic, I will be forced to uproot my entire life and move to Buffalo to be able to hang out with you more... AND I REALLY LIKE LIVING IN CANADA! My favorite aspect of this short film is Becki's emotions surrounding her return to Vancouver - I can totally relate to this as I had a similar experience when I had to abruptly move from Los Angeles to Omaha, Nebraska ... when I returned to LA to visit two years later it was INCREDIBLY emotional. You articulated that feeling so well, both of you, with the metaphor of hiking up the mountain only to tumble back down when you're so close to the top - the pain that occurs when your vision for your life is suddenly upended and you're left trying to figure it all out ... only to realize you're right where you belong. LOVE this. Beautifully done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
