Would love to see a video on how to expose log footage when you use that kinda dark setting. I have some issues with getting noise in my shadows when my setting is a bit darker
Lighting now in all your one room things will make me look behind you. It is good to know that your making sure what we see in a video is not just one subject but encompassing the entire background.
OMG Chris said my favorite words: “inverse square law.” I’m so glad you guys talked about softness changing by the relative size of the light to the subject, and inverse square law! I try to teach new-er photogs and videographers about that but don’t have NEARLY the reach you do!
I wish i had photography friends to hang out with and try these setups. You guys seem to be my only motivation to keep going with photography and videography.
I'm so glad I found your channel. Informative, professional content, gorgeous aesthetics, and as a bonus, you two are absolutely adorable together. Thanks for keeping it fun, it brightens our day!
Mannnnnnnn this was so valuable! And you two are adorable and creative and cool and professional and soooooooooo YOU. And that I love! I appreciate you ❤️
Love love this video and resources! Can you do one that uses less lights for a smaller space and for someone who is a beginner and doesn't have all of this equipment just yet? You are appreciated!
Finally! I've been waiting for this tutorial like for ever! I had to go search Google and try my hands on stuff but it didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to. Thank you, Becki and Chris! 💜
Always super helpful. The info is pretty much on poimt of what one can need and how to do it. Also you guys are awesome. The wierd, quirkyness is awesome. Feels like me and the wife 😂😂😂 guys are amazing thx
😂 🤣 🤣 🤣 I love the chaos and 'natural' humour! My humerus is fine, thank Gad! I randomly clicked on videos because I have no life and... Whoa, I am hypnotised by this one! Humour aside, this one mentions a few things that other videos do not. Maybe the power of two heads are better than one, if used wisely. Clearly shows that either one of the two fills in what the other one misses or forgets.
YES! I had been hunting for milanote for a couple of weeks - I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of this tool. YES! Thank you - oh and excellent lighting tutorial :-)
A timely tutorial. After I spent a month working with a 4K timeline in Davinci Resolve, I thought it was time to switch from the 1080p Panasonic camcorder (fuzzy quality) to the 4K iPhone XR (sharp quality). Now I need to change the lightning since it's too bright for the iPhone. Thanks for the info!
Great video guys, love your content. One thing that i find very challenging is setting up the keylight, as it usually spills on the background and ends up ruining the details and moodyness i try to set up there, what would you recommend?
I literally walked into my new studio trying to figure out how I was going to light up my next video, and here you both are. Maybe you can help me figure it out by watching my previous vlog?! Por favorrrr! D:
You all have quote covered everything on lighting but you can do one on explaining MOODS in the film by shifting lights to all positions . And ya you both look so cute together
Question, in your perspective does the distance from the back wall to the subject (Chris) make a difference and how far was Chris from that wall, curious. Cheers! :)
Yes! Especially with depth of field and light fall off. He was probably 4-5 feet from the wall which gives us a bit of room to cream out the background while still keeping some detail
Love the new intro and transition slides 👌 Also, what fonts are in the "The city that changed our life" 'this is our final decision" and also the font for the PDF you showed from Milanote from the storyboard pdf?
Got a few requests for this one! What other lighting tutorials do you want to see?
would love to see a tutorial on how to make the best use of natural lights :D
We did a video about window light a few years ago! Still stand by the placement 😊 th-cam.com/video/29yT_hc3sBU/w-d-xo.html
@@BeckiandChris Oh yup! got it- Thanks a lot!
how to make a snoot on a budget?

Thanks for the lighting setup , looks great, but what are your camera settings? cause when I shoot video my vid looks as bright as an operating room
Yes! That app is what I was looking for, I suck at planning and being visual it might help me.
I love the drone factory set too!
It’s been the best!! Don’t know what I didn’t before using it!
Your "Go Away" banner is a vibe. A vibe I am now off to find available for purchase. Thanks for more great lighting ideas. :)
