- Welcome back everyone.
Things have been quiet for me regarding TH-cam, but that doesn’t mean to say I haven’t been out doing photography, as you’ll see in today’s video. Taking time out enjoying the summer, was just what I needed.

Great shots Bri - I LOVE #10. I think you really impart a sense of dynamism with the stationary crossing guard juxtaposed with the pedestrians crossing the street!

My favorite was #12. That silver umbrella and light cast was a great catch with the straight lines of the buildings. Thanks for sharing your photos and thought process.

#39 really is a great photo Bri, i appreciate it more after watching the reason behind it too. I really enjoyed #19 and #25 too when they appeared. #25 reminded me of post WW2 Glasgow tenement images. Great video, good to see you back at it and hoping you have a fantastic winter to look forward to.

Landscapes can be a pain weather-wise, where as Street is a different skill and you've captured the light there
Street photography can be done any time of the year, landscape photography can be more challenging regarding weather. Your quite right, street photography is a different skill.

I find the contrast in your B&W’s so stunning! I like hearing your descriptions of composing them.
We were over there today from Nanaimo, and driving through Gastown… all the yellow leaves are falling and lying on the paver brick streets and sidewalks. So beautiful; I was kicking myself for not bringing my camera over..!

G’day Bri. Some great images there. Hard to pick a favourite but I do like the white suit under the fire escape. You’ve managed to put a great deal of effort into your choice of composition and use of the light was really bought to life in that shot.

Excellent body of Summer work! My favorites: 7, 10, 11, 13, 21, 28, 29, 34. TIL: Vancouver seems to have a tiny "Flat Iron Building" similar to the one in New York.

I’m around Gastown area quite often, but photographing homeless etc is something I’ve always avoided, it just doesn’t sit right with me.
