Great shots Bri - I LOVE #10. I think you really impart a sense of dynamism with the stationary crossing guard juxtaposed with the pedestrians crossing the street!
My favorite was #12. That silver umbrella and light cast was a great catch with the straight lines of the buildings. Thanks for sharing your photos and thought process.
Street photography can be done any time of the year, landscape photography can be more challenging regarding weather. Your quite right, street photography is a different skill. Glad you enjoyed the video 😊👍

Excellent body of Summer work! My favorites: 7, 10, 11, 13, 21, 28, 29, 34. TIL: Vancouver seems to have a tiny "Flat Iron Building" similar to the one in New York.
I find the contrast in your B&W’s so stunning! I like hearing your descriptions of composing them. We were over there today from Nanaimo, and driving through Gastown… all the yellow leaves are falling and lying on the paver brick streets and sidewalks. So beautiful; I was kicking myself for not bringing my camera over..!

G’day Bri. Some great images there. Hard to pick a favourite but I do like the white suit under the fire escape. You’ve managed to put a great deal of effort into your choice of composition and use of the light was really bought to life in that shot.
So many great shots demonstrating your appreciation and knowledge of the city and light. Cannot pick one 6, 7, 8, 12, 25, 26 and the mannequin shot stand out for me

I’m around Gastown area quite often, but photographing homeless etc is something I’ve always avoided, it just doesn’t sit right with me.
I think your street photography is better than your landscapes but I would say that being a townie! Nice one I enjoyed those images..thank you.
