It's tough to beat Ultralight fishing. I fish that way 75% of the time I'd say. Looks like a blast doing it from a kayak. Nice video and screw the haters....

The way your doing this video is outstanding I actually love to fish the same way your doing in this video.I love bass fishing I do catfishing sometimes but crappie is also one of my favorites.I have a sprained ankle at the age of 59 and it’s not fun.I’ve been house on arrest for over a week now and it’s not good. Keep up with your videos your doing a great job.

Justin, when you are ready for a new reel, I think you might like the Pflueger President. It is priced in today’s market, like your Cardinal was way back when. It is smooth, dependable and bulletproof. I have one on my St. Croix Panfish rod and I love it.

Hey Justin, thanks for all the great content. If I had to recommend a spinning reel for panfish, I love my shimano vanford 2000. I had an old abu like yours and used it hard but upgraded this year and now all my other spinning reels feel busted. All I want to do is throw a little jig around now.

Love the old lady saucer comment. That had me laughing so hard. That was a monster bluegill. Ive caught a few big ones on a trip to west va when i was a kid at Moncove lake. Hello Justin great seeing you out on the water I went this morning and caught 20 bluegill that I'm going to be using for catfish bait tonight on the Mississippi River love the video and yes I did watch the whole 1 hour 29 and 52 seconds of it. LOL

I don't mind longer videos if they keep me interested. This one does. If I can't watch it all I'll resume later. Another tip for the gulp jars...don't tear the seal completely off when opening. That usually works fairly well but not always 100%. Also, baby food jars work amazing. Love your channel, thought I was subbed I watch it so often but apparently not, so I just subbed again.
Justin I have a tip for you. when you open a jar of gulp, unscrew the cap, but only pull the seal on top of the jar about 1/4 of the way. Then push the seal back down and screw on the top. I've got 2 and 3 year old jars that are still full of fluid.
If they would make better jars, you wouldn’t have to do that.

great video. watched it all and enjoyed it. shows what happens in real time. if you have a second ul. combo rig it with a small bobber about 2ft. deep and just pull it a few inches let the jig swing back under it works too. get the jon boat or small v bottom for fishing the dam. also will get you off the water quicker, when you make too many last casts lol. stay safe
