    At 5:18 I added subsurface scattering - the video updates at 5:26. Sorry for the audio-video mismatch.

    Crazy stuff i tryed it and it looks amazing.
    I have a question.
    If i would like to tranfer this corail in lets say unreal engine how could i do that because the extra geometry only appear during render. A tutorial on how to import this kind of object that use complex blender nodes could be great. I tryed a cpls of things but the material never show up the the export.

      @nihilusedit1447 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would suggest you to bake the displacement and then to use it as a displacement map with a displace modifier that you apply to your mesh, that will create real geometry

    Hi! At 0:55, the voronoi texture is connected to a node that seems to be above 'material output'. What is it connected to? I cant seem to figure it out. :)

    • @AnveshDunna
      @AnveshDunna  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that is just a viewer node to preview the voronoi+colorramp. Nodewrangler addon: ctrl+shift+leftclick

  • @noenaranjo3638
    @noenaranjo3638 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What are your render output setting? My result is coming out in super low quality.the shading / color value pixelation makes it look like AI art.

      In the video I used only 32samples. Probably check the subsurface scattering and the subdiv surface modifier values. Can you share a screenshot of how your render looks like?

  • @Nox1660
    @Nox1660 ปีที่แล้ว

    I did'n see this option in material at minute 0:32, and in subdivision surface at minute 0:36 (sorry for my english, i'm from Poland)

    texture coordinate not working with object, it works with generated (blender 3.5)

  • @nosutt

    Where did you place the subsurface scatter node?

    • @AnveshDunna
      @AnveshDunna  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Noah. It was a choppy editing mistake. You can check the SSS values at 5:27 in the principled bsdf.

      I think this should work with the newest version too. Will surely check and see if there's any change to be done.

    This tutorial looks very promising, but I'm struggling to follow because I can't tell what you're saying sometimes ;-; you seem to be very talented, do you think you could add captions for people like myself who have difficulty with verbal communication?
    Even when people very clearly enunciate, I often struggle to follow along because even though I can hear the sounds, my brain doesn't naturally string them together like with other people.
    I rely heavily on captions in cases where I can't easily make out what the sounds mean, and it doesn't look like your video has them ;-;

    • @AnveshDunna
      @AnveshDunna  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for the kind words. Only one of my videos has closed captions. I was out of youtube for almost two years and am returning this October. I will work on captions again. This will take some time. Hope you understand.

    why does it seem like every new release of blender is designed to make things more work than the previous version. Theres several nodes being used here that arent in blender anymore.

    • @AnveshDunna
      @AnveshDunna  ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand. I will be returning to Blender after almost an year, so all these nodes will be new to me too :')
