@872andy872 It's a bit of both really. One wrist movement for the first stroke and then allowing the stick to bounce a second time and using the fingers to control the second bounce. It's impossible to describe in this text box so my advice is to do a bit of searching on TH-cam for a good double stroke lessons. Best of luck and thanks for your interest! Rob

Have you ever listened to the song What Time Is It? by The Spin Doctors. That’s probably one of my favorites by them...such a great song. That and Shinbone Alley/Hard to Exist. The drums in that are sooo beautiful. 😍

Hey Rob, I really appreciate all the free dum videos! I was just wondering could you do a drum tutorial on Paramores Careful. The part what catches me out really is 1.06 - 1.18 section, it is really tricky and I have been trying to cover it for a long time now but can't quite work it out. It would be great if you could. I know thounds stupid, but would you mind making a video about the moeller technique, or could you please try to give me some advice, my drum teacher wants me to improve it, I just can't nail it, if you could do this I would really appretiate it :D
I have a question about double stroke rolls, Are you supposed to play them by using the bounce or using your wrist for each hit, I've been told both ways before so I want clarification
your videos are fantastic and I'm a huge fan. I've been paying pretty close attention to this vid, and one tiny little detail may be off, at 8:35 on the beginning "pick up", you do a RR LL, and you say you're doing a RR LL, but the sheet music seems to say RLRL. on the and of 4. Am I wrong?

Hey I have the same drumset and I have a problem with the hi-hat.. it makes the same noise when its open and then it's closed.. can anyone help me??
Have you tried swapping the hi-hat controller and the hi-hat wire/cables over with each other? Make sure they are both going to the correct input in the back of the module.
Ohh there is no hihat control wire maybe that's the problem. Do I have to buy it?
@@konstantinam3696 It should have come with the kit. If yours does not have two cables then you will need to buy the one that is missing. Good luck!
