    thanks for doing this ! I bought the addon a few weeks ago, but not got into it yet. There is very little documentation, so videos like this help me get started.

      I'm figuring they'll add more in the future - it is still technically in alpha

    Hey Justin,
    Regarding ring rotation 4:53 - grab the sphere under the Color Tint option. Love watching your videos

    If I'm seeing this correctly, it's a texture mapper and the only thing that is really automated is the planet atmospehere which is a bit more complicated to do.

    I've only played around with it a little, but it's pretty sweet. I turned on PSA with this addon and got some awesome effects with basically no effort -- not sure if it was just a happy accident or if they plan to allow you to use these together.

    How do I make the sun visible? Like a lensflare?

    I bought the thing not really knowing what it is. It’s a sky shader as I understand it. I’d like to mix it with True Sky but I assume it can only mix with the Physical Star Light plug-in?

      The celestial objects one is more of a...planet generator? You might be thinking of Physical Starlight and Atmosphere?

      @@TheCGEssentials true, it’s not a shader. I meant to say it’s a “world” system. Not sure if I can mix in True Sky at the same time.

    It looks really promising but this sucker seriously does NOT WORK. Nothing happens when I follow your instructions, which I've followed to the letter. I just get empty space, and it throws an error when I click the "make planet" button. The only way I can even see a planet is to open one of the existing planet files. Then I can play around with the light and some of the parameters. But I can't make anything of my own. I'm gonna assume that it's because this is an alpha version, and I'm on a Mac, so I can expect no help.

    I created system in which all the planets are orbiting the sun. But there's another problem. all planates are revolving arround sun. But there can be only one source of light(Sun). how one sun will put light on all the planates according to thier location(Coz Sun in the center but planates arround the sun) i hope u under stand my clean english... thank u. Does it support displacement maps on the planets? I would also love to be able to control the cloud coverage and possibly lights on the continents ;)

    • @TheCGEssentials
      @TheCGEssentials  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does have a displacement slot, but no cloud options as of yet

    Dang, planet just doesn't show up. Probably because I am on 3.4.1?
