    Learning Blender and thanking God I chanced upon Justin's SketchUp essentials almost a year ago, ergo, here I am always following Justin. He's a great teacher. Makes it easy to absorb and understand all things 3D. Keep up the good work Sir ! 🤗

      Glad I've been able to help - hoping to be able to add more resources in the future! :)

      @@TheCGEssentials started learning to create 3D models in Blender by following Justin's WineGlass tutorial on Apr 22, 2023 evening. By May 01 early afternoon, I posted this video : th-cam.com/video/g_m7nUkABgo/w-d-xo.html on my humble TH-cam channel. Justin gives out easy to follow and learn instructions. May God bless you always for you sure are a blessing to us who want to learn. I'd also like to ask permission to give credit to whom credit is due. Meaning, thanking Justin and mentioning your CG Essentials in my videos when possible .

      Have to agree. I first found Justin’s Fusion360 vids a couple of years ago and they were super helpful. It was great to see that he’s also teaching Blender, when I started with that software last year. His videos are always really helpful and easy to follow..

      @@AnthonyHortin having fun learning modeling in Blender switching from SketchUp (upgrade or upskill?). though currently doing mecha and hard surfaces only, no organics (just going 2weeks old in Blender). Just couldn't grasp the texturing in Blender. Nodes and all that made my nose bleed

    You are best teacher who research the software very well, no matter it is SketchUp, Rhino or Blender. Please make a video describing all pros and cons of the three softwares.

    Will blender guru's prolighting studio work in ether blender 3.6 or 4.0?

    Interesting add-ons!
    I'm surprised the dome functionality isn't integrated in Blender. There's a way to do it manually, but it's time intensive. Though I suppose I could do it once and then save the blend file and just replace the texture.

    • @TheCGEssentials
      @TheCGEssentials  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah - you could do most of that manually for sure, but it's a lot of back-end work. Just pressing a button? Awesome :)

    Sorry in advance, my question isn't on this topic. I imported a model (OBJ) and the cuts in the model (arm connect to body etc.) the edges are neatly highlighted in sky blue. So it's not a texture or material coloring mode, the edge is just not black but what seems black and sky blue on top. This way I can easily see where the model has joints and is seperate from the torso. I love this feature and would like to add it manually in fully Blender made models. Does anybody know how to do this yourself? Or is it just an import .obj feature of Blender? It would be really helpfull to color some edges quickly. Thanks in advance.

    How does True Sky compare to PSA?

    • @TheCGEssentials
      @TheCGEssentials  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question - True Sky is fully built on top of Cycles - it's got some great presets built in and can create some really good results - the only downside to me is that it doesn't work in Eevee, so making changes is a lot slower (in my opinion)

    The thumbnails not showing is not your problem. I get it too. I asks the devs and they said it is a bug of some kind.
