Yeah, I'm glad I went with them as well. I did not know this before watching this video but yeah, you want your steel pins riding in steel. Maybe with the center support it will be OK but I would rather have them ride in something of a similar material. I just bought the Hot Racing diff housing & the 5382x kit for the rear of my Slash. The stock diff housing didn't seem to hold the oil in the housing very long from the factory. Hoping this one will do a better job.
I’m not sure that I like or dislike the video. I appreciate the information of course but you move so much and your hand seems so unstable it watching the product jump across the screen is giving me a headache
I went with the HR diff cups because the shims , so the pin don't wear away the aluminum case !!!! , BIG ,Big improvement !!!!!

Markus Dmitri you’re welcome
i have a slash 4x4 and i have blown the spider gears up 4 times is there an upgrade for them
Is the GPM diff box great?
yes, very great.
i came here to do the exact same gpm diff ....i wondered should i use threadlock (as the diff oil just pushes its way out ... you didnt i wont :)
On the threads I use plumbers ptfe tape, works just as well as thread lock but easier to remover later, keeps the oil in better.
U dangerous withat knife
