It worked! I have been struggling to make it TLOS2 run on my ps4 for almost 3 months. The game would start with all the cut scene screwed up and then crash with an error. I tried everything and pretty much gave up on it until I buy a PS5. But, this solved it. I think rebuilding the database is safe mode was what worked for me
@@peepthedrip777 after a bit yeah. i had deleted the game and just watched the ending (i was maybe 10 minutes away from the end when it up and died) but my little brother redownloaded it because we went on a trip to jackson. i decided to check my file and it actually ran fine, so deleting it worked even though the first time i did it didn’t. i’m not sure why though, wiping your data sucks because tlou 2 is an extremely long game, and deleting the game might just not work. i’d recommend deleting it and reinstalling a few times and mayeb a few hard resets (but not wipes) of your system between those to see if it helps, if not your just outta luck like i was. i have no idea what’s wrong with the files of this game lmao.

I found a solution by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. Then instead of loading up your auto save you can select which chapter/encounter you last played.

Bit more of an update on my issue. Ended up downgrading to a slim PS4 as my pro is still having the same issue. I’m thinking it’s my 2tb hard drive what’s the issue. Going to replace the hard drive and let you know how it goes 🙂

Try this too 1. Delete game, rebuild database, and reinstall.. keep your game in rest mode until it’s done 2. Or try going into your settings, storage, click “application saved data”, and click on the game with the corrupted data and delete the corrupted files from there
For some reason, (PS5) I'm unable to play TLOU2 due to it not downloading completely, Even though I have plenty of space for it to completely download. No wifi problems or anything. Was able to complete the game on my PS4 so idk why it's being this way. Whats the damn solution lmao.

Then you should turn the PS5 off, and start it again in safe mode: while the console is off, to enter ‘safe mode’, you need to hold down the power button on the console until you hear a second beep. While you’re in safe mode, you should be given the option to ‘rebuild your database’ - do this, and it should clear out the cobwebs and banish any storage-based bugs.

this happened to me while i was playing uncharted: the nathan drake collection, more specifically uncharted 3: drake’s deception, i was on like chapter 16/17 or something and my game just crashed, then a window popped up saying there was an error and that the playstation needed to restart, i did it and when i tried to go back in the game to continue my gameplay my data didn’t load then i came to understand that my data is corrupted. i’m still kind of lost on how to fix this issue and heal the corruption, is it not possible? i tried renewing my license and also by rebuilding the data but it still didn’t work. if i must delete data (if that’s the only way) should i delete the saved data for uncharted 3: drake’s deception or the whole uncharted: the nathan drake collection saved game data?and would i need to delete my profile data along with it? i’d really appreciate it if you could help/give me a feedback on this.

I have an issue with data corrupting for awhile now. I've done everything. Rebuild my database, cleaned the console, restored my license, got a new hard drive, finally I just got a new PS4 and still having the same issue. Is there anything else I could do? is it just one or all your games ? if its just one it could be the saved data that's corrupted for that one game and also try lowering your resolution that might help

i have tried everything. rebuilds, quick initializes, full initializes, swapped multiple internal hdds, multiple external hdds, bought hard copy, reinstalled on all devices. tried this video as lets say step number 51 out of 50. it did not work sadly. i have given up entirely, sony support has no clue. the furthest ive got into the game is maybe 2minutes into the loading screen. its random. may crash 10sec into launch. maybe 30, if im lucky i almost make it into the game.

Nah it wont delete anything it just restores the digital content in your ps4 but it doesn’t delete anything also just make sure your your ps4 is set as your primary system

I need help buy the game from the playstation store and I get the database error and I uninstalled and installed it, restore the data of the play everything and it does not work for me only happens to me with the last of us
Its one of those things you gotta keep repeating bro I did all these steps about 3-4 times before it worked for me .
Try this too
1. Delete game, rebuild database, and reinstall.. keep your game in rest mode until it’s done
2. Or try going into your settings, storage, click “application saved data”, and click on the game with the corrupted data and delete the corrupted files from there
For some reason, (PS5) I'm unable to play TLOU2 due to it not downloading completely, Even though I have plenty of space for it to completely download. No wifi problems or anything. Was able to complete the game on my PS4 so idk why it's being this way.

this happened to me while i was playing uncharted: the nathan drake collection, more specifically uncharted 3: drake’s deception, i was on like chapter 16/17 or something and my game just crashed, then a window popped up saying there was an error and that the playstation needed to restart, i did it and when i tried to go back in the game to continue my gameplay my data didn’t load then i came to understand that my data is corrupted. i’m still kind of lost on how to fix this issue and heal the corruption, is it not possible? i tried renewing my license and also by rebuilding the data but it still didn’t work. if i must delete data (if that’s the only way) should i delete the saved data for uncharted 3: drake’s deception or the whole uncharted: the nathan drake collection saved game data?and would i need to delete my profile data along with it? i’d really appreciate it if you could help/give me a feedback on this.

1. Find a corrupt save file and delete it (this will delete the saved data for the that game and you’ll have to start over)

3. Delete the game reinstall
