It blows my mind that the first season aired almost 25 years ago & that this summer will be a decade since James Gandolfini past!! Where did time go? Does anyone else feel this way?

Don't you EVER let anyone tell you not to like watching this series about organized crime. Every decade since the early 1950's a series comes along that EVERYONE has feelings about. I suspect yours & mine are of fans of The Sopranos............ Look after yourself my friend.

Absolutely. I just turned 45 years old on Sunday and I was like where the fuck did the last 20 years go? It went by so fast. Growing up you hear it from your parents and older friends that you have that time will fly by and you won’t even realize how fast it happens. You don’t really process it but when it happens you look back and realize that they were right. Youngsters enjoy your youth and have as much fun as you can because it flys by very quickly. I still fortunately feel like I’m 25 and I’m great full for that but the older you get the quicker the time goes.

Sopranos was loosely based on the DeCavalcante family from New Jersey, classic series!

26:12 Right here David Chase shows his thought process for the way he (later on) finished the series in that final episode and scene.

It’s freaky watching this now. I used to be a member on the chaise lounge and Robert’s lounge a goodfellas and sopranos forum and I remember all the discussions on the last season and people thinking Adriana was gonna comeback etc etc.

The problem w Chase and the Sopranos was he killed the entire cast off. Some of them are dead in real life but he cdve let some ppl live and added some other talents in order to continue in the future. That prequel was a disgrace. I loved the Sopranos but nobody does mob genre like Scorsese.

    • @rking5074

I Don’t Think Chase Wanted the Future of The Sopranos to Continue. Scorsese & Chase Wrote Mob Stories in Different Time Eras.

Chase got extremely lucky with a fantastic cast. I just rewatched and some of the story lines are meh, but gandolfini, edie falco, michael imperioli and tony sirico are UNBELIEVABLE
