Im cabin crew in Latam and I always though "hey someone must film all this and make a reallity show" the process it has everything a reallity show needs. it has drama, stress, accion, people crying, etc... it's amazing!!! I worked in many places but honestly I think this job is the best one I had. greettings.
Hi, Carson & Manuel! I'm a flight attendant now with a different airline, and I just applied for DL mainline. I've wanted to become a flight attendant since I was 6 y/o. 8 months ago, I got a job offer with my current company, and I've loved every second of this wild ride. Kids like y'all make me remember how big an impact a FA made on me 18 years ago. Fly high!
I work in medical nursing, in hospitals and Long Term so customer service is my strong avenue for this job. Learning safety and about the air craft is my knowledge to achieve
Shawn Bellamy Life doesn't work that way, kid. Thousands and thousands of people apply each year to all airlines. You will fly for whoever hires you, if anybody. Good luck.
Shawn Bellamy, while it is a competitive field, dont let anyone or any comments deter you. Keep trying for your goal, you sound very ambitious and love your attitude! Keep it up! Best of luck in your future!
I will be part of the Delta team sometime soon! It has always been my favorite airline and the one I have had the great privilege to fly for almost 20 years and counting. Can't wait for that day! Wish success to all my f/a colleagues!
I’m told that the classes are supposed to start up again in the fall or early next year depending on summer traffic. I’m looking forward to applying, but I’m hoping I’ll have enough money saved up to get me through class and the first few months as a FA.
Several years ago I applied to Delta for the FA position and made it to Atlanta for an in-person interview. One week after I returned home I got a rejection letter even though I had several years of airline and previous flight attendant experience. Very disappointing as someone who knows the industry and the job itself very well.. I never applied again after that.
Was at SWA as a ramper. When I went to Dallas for training, the SWA FAs were still studying hours after class, and when the rest of us were going to bed. Respect to all FAs.
Good morning Delta. My sister is flying out of Phoenix today. I need you to be extra observant with this young chic. You know our common enemy strikes to hurt us at the core of our emotions. Watch her please. America was plagued with these occurrences in the 20th century. I don't expect him to lay still while we Americans rebound out of the pandemic. Have a great day, your number one fan. Long Beach
I dream of being a pilot, although I’m a minor I don’t let that get pass me. I study everyday, instruments, controls, communication, etc. I would really like to work for delta in the future for many reason which I can not describe as this essay would be beyond long. Honestly Delta videos definitely make me feel more confident about my future. I study from TH-cam and so far I feel very educated. Criticize me all you won’t care, I would like everyone to know that it’s not to late to study at a young age. So far I feel like I have a good relationship with the instruments in the flight deck/cockpit. I’m really excited to see how things turn out! Thank you so much delta :D
Wheatley GLADOS Delta is military friendly, but with you being reserve, it'll be hard because they can't turn a plane around to get you home until after they land then fly back
Still get as many as we can while we have, under your belt to divvy up the hours so everyone gets a little training achievements awards for humans. 2:22
For safety reasons alone I'm surprised the FAA would even allow a Part 121 carrier to hire some of the "hefty" or "wide-bodied" men I see in this video... =:O In a flaming metal tube you need gymnasts, not roadblocks... OTOH, maybe these days you DO need a "bouncer" or two?
As a flight attendant for a different airline I can tell you that a lot of times most people are skinnier when they are hired. You gain weight on the job because of the irregular hours, and only being able to eat mostly airport or hotel food. And when on long layovers you 'have' to try the local cuisine and/or restaurants.
Delta airlines, I've been trying to reach you and ask you about when is the next hiring date! I just graduated from high school this june. I can't wait for delta airlines to hire me and flourish with delta pride in my heart! Don't ignore me, hire me!! I'm more than willing to be a flight attendant, and deal with passenger with my great personality and character!
Antonio Lima August 13, 2018 are when applications are opening, but if you speak another language check out their career page. They’re currently hiring for foreign languages. Good luck! 🍀
So I'm 20, and I turn 21 a week after New Years. But the application for 2020 asks if you are 21, or will be before January 1, 2020, so I'm just curious on if I have to wait until 2022 to apply or what the deal is with that.
It says that position are open for flight attendants, however when we try to apply it says no positions available. Is delta hiring or not for flight attendant ?
Yes, they are! However, I believe only if you have a referral because my application went through. General applications shall open September 5th! :-) This upcoming Thursday - mark your calendar!
Jessica Cervantes hi Jessica, my application went through as well, it’s kind of hard to get the link that redirect you straight to the application, but after trying over and over again I was able to do it . Thanks for reaching out. Good luck 👍
If you want an in-depth view of training, check out Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant Training - there were 18 22-minute episodes which focuses on 8 or 9 trainees from start to finish. The series is here on You Tube
Zzzzz 😴 zzzzzz believe me, it is wayyyyyy more fun than this. More interesting, more challenging, more intriguing and more stressful to be a flight attendant and becoming one
they're all Ready Reserve. For those who don't know what that is. Basically it's like working for a cheap contractor while wearing the Delta name. You have a fixed income. No raises. No benefits. They need a union cuz they treat their employees like shit.
I used to work there. I've seen way too many good people get screwed by that company. I was lucky. I had a better job to fall back on but a lot of people don't. You walk on eggshells when you work for them. It wasn't always like that. I worked there for 22 years. I'm getting a measley $350 a month for my pension. If I worked union United, I'd be getting just over $1900 a month for pension with 22 years. It's sad. The foundation of the company is the good workers. Those who work shorthanded daily. Vote union!!
A flight attendant job is not what it seems. Pay begins only at rollback from the blocks. New recruits get lousy trips. Those "see the world" ideas turn out to be see the inside of a hotel room. It's a glorified waitress job without the tips.
Omg no way, that is not at all true! We are NOT waitresses. We are safety professionals. Like with any other job, you have to pay your dues, but once you do, it’s absolutely the best job ever. When I first started in my company, I didn’t get international layovers it’s true, but I did still get to see amazing parts of this country on their dime, so yes b-you ARE seeing the world, maybe not international, but you can see anything you want to see. It’s all what you make of it. I absolutely love what I do, and you couldn’t pay me enough to go back to a 9-5 job. Furthermore, you’ve got our pay structure wrong too. Yes, we get paid flight time, but we also get compensated in other ways too. Per diem, incentives, holiday pay, overtime, languages. That’s not even including health insurance, 401k, tuition assistance. It all adds up, babe, and with time, your pay increases substantially.
Applied for the 2020 Class. Praying I get the position. This is a DREAM job for me!
Dami Mami I WISH YOU BEST OF LUCK!!
Good luck
Dami Mami good luck

Did you get it?

Manuel1723 _ Same!
Amazing beginning. Can not wait to watch over the next 8 weeks. Delta has amazing service and pride in who they are.
Frontier Airlines did a show very similar to this one. Only in that show, you saw people get let go from the program before graduation day.
I work in medical nursing, in hospitals and Long Term so customer service is my strong avenue for this job. Learning safety and about the air craft is my knowledge to achieve
I'm becoming a delta fa but I'm 14 so 7 more years to go... and I know almost about 80% of airport codes covering delta... and all their aircraft
Shawn Bellamy Life doesn't work that way, kid. Thousands and thousands of people apply each year to all airlines. You will fly for whoever hires you, if anybody. Good luck.
Scott Nichols um, dont discourage her like that. She can do what she wants, long as she never gives up
Shawn Bellamy i know most of deltas hubs and codes because i live in Atlanta GA and there biggest hub is here in Atlanta.
Shawn Bellamy, while it is a competitive field, dont let anyone or any comments deter you. Keep trying for your goal, you sound very ambitious and love your attitude! Keep it up! Best of luck in your future!
the only way to get hired for sure if u go to the flight attendant Academy
Delta is the best airline ever I’ve been flying with them for 11years!
Then the other airliners must have been like the titanic
I will be part of the Delta team sometime soon!
It has always been my favorite airline and the one I have had the great privilege to fly for almost 20 years and counting.

On Delta in economy class if you ask for the full can of soda will you get it?

Delta is hiring again guys

Wow, all that studying for only one aircraft? Delta has over a dozen. SW you learn the 737 and you’re done.
Swa 🤣🤣🤣🤣 planes are horrible!!! Delta all the way !!

Hahaha I recognize one of these guys who was my flight attendant from Atlanta!!
This made me tear, wonderful journey
Have to always love a company that respects its heritage with their own museum....

Same to you! I have mine next Wednesday. Where are you in the process?
Sounds completely intimidating and stressful!

I want to be there within one year. Still have some loose ends to tie up, but Im gonna do it! It's in my blood. Simple as that! GO DELTA!!!!!
So did it happen?
Need a new verison of this!
I’m really starting to think this is what I want to do.
Do they hire a lot of prior military for flight attendants? I'm a Navy reserve aircrew who worked on C-130's for a few years would that qualify?

Daniel, is a really nice guy!!!! I don't know if he's still flying though.
Rock-on baby !! Excuse me, I ment Go for it there First Officer / Co-Pilot !
hopefully tommorow after my interview i get the job as a FA
Getting a job at Delta is as hard as winning one million dollars on AGT !!!

you don't need gymnasts in a flaming metal tube. You do need to be healthy but don't worry they all go through medicals.
As long as they can fit into the jumpseat they can do this job.
I will not give up my dream job with delta
is it a good sign if I haven’t gotten a decline email after the video interview?
Raven Loreal yes. No news is good news.
Still reviewing applications? I hope so!
I hope to apply for delta airlines in 2029.
