Let me know if there’s something YOU want to know, or see in another video. I can explain my roommate issues, what I learned, the pros/cons, ANYTHING. I want to hear what you think! Comment below and let me know!

This is so inspiring. I got dismissed from training two years ago 3 days before graduation. It’s extremely hard and stressful. But now Im going back to training this week. I feel completely different from two years ago and I feel more ready. Sometimes you have to take a step back and try again at a better time. If you feel it’s for you, don’t give up girl. Keep trying and the next rime around you’ll ACE training.

Our entire class was 8 days away from graduation when the pandemic hit and we all got furloughed. 😞 We were so close, but I’m hoping we go back soon.

I’ve watched this video many times. I went to training with a mainline last year and two in my class were sent home because they failed the test twice. That was reasonable because you really have to study! I’m sorry for your experience, my instructors wouldn’t sent us home because of that reason instead they would let us do it again (retakes) because they want us all to be successful!

no big deal . airlines say they care about safety but that is questionable. they just follow the money.. do what the master says.

I was dismissed because my trainer was literally in my face, and I was intimidated by this. I closed the door properly and my mind blanked and I was dismissed. It was a brutal. I have since learned this trainer is no longer a trainer and was reprimanded for her over the top safety briefings. The Best that can happen for her is to be demoted to Flight Attendant and have to work until her mandatory retirement. I was dismissed on the final day of training. Let this experience sharpen your resolve to become a Flight Attendant. Its all about the safety of others....its never about yourself...except knowing your stuff and proving it daily on the job and in re current training. Keep strong and move forward. One final thought. Its the airlines loss not having you, and every trainer is accountable for their behaviour. Its on them..

I was a F/A for many years, training is no joke. You not only have to study, and study more, you have to nail your test and finals. Each airline is different, they are not only watching your grades, but your interactions as well. They are watching the way you handle new situations, how you handle the stress, how fast you can change or understand how to be accommodating. She gives you a a small window into what to expect. My advice is be prepared to be somewhere, you know no one, deal with your roommates get along it is never a perfect situation and you will not like everyone you are around period!!!! (You control this) when you pass and get online you again will fly with others you may not care for, its like any other job. If you are missing home, miss it for your 7 weeks, do not allow other factors to feed your stress from the outside, this is important. (Everyone feels alone during training, you feel venerable, and stressed.) it is part of the process. It's okay, stay calm. I wish you all the best in your endeavors...It is worth it, stick it out hold your head up and STUDY....Good luck and hopefully you will be out there seeing the country and world via a jumpseat.

The training seems very wrong 😑 and needs to be less intimidating more structured. It seems like even arming and cross checking is over the top! Don’t worry you’ll find a better airline to work for! U deserve better. I’ve been flying 16 years

I see this happened 4 years ago. I don't think it's the job for you anyway. . . you said you didn't like being away from home or being with people you didn't know. . . . .and the stress. Also, there could be many times when you are on a layover by yourself, on holidays, or other days, when you are an extra on a trip and everyone else is on a different ID or they are home. There is stress in the job, you are away from home with strangers for days. Lose the word "like". . . . they don't go for that. I flew for 30 years. Yes, there were retakes, but it has to be done perfectly, even though you said "it was for something small". . . . it wasn't small - it was your retake. Believe me, I understand the nerves. Also, did they tell you that you have to go through this every year?

I am really glad I watched your video. I am in a holding poll waiting for the training to start until the end of the year, and this video was really helpful as it showed how much effort needs to be put before the training and getting into the right mindset.

You'll be allright. You have to take the good with the bad. Life is a marathon not a sprint. Sorry for all the platitudes. But your young and motivated hang in there.

Same thing happened to me exactly 4 days before graduation! Passed my CBT with a 96% , all emergency equipment and my First class validation. Forgot to say my door arming pa before the stop, drop & review step. Recorrected and restarted and did my door and cross checked the other door! But by then I was a nervous wreck and totally messed up the Evac😭

I just failed my exam right now ( 30 mins ago) for an aviation company here in Canada and I'm searching up on youtube about other trainees' experiences during their aviation training. Passing grade is 80% and I got 79%
