Just watched your build series, awesome work man and all the great filming ... I'm sure someone has already asked but what this project cost so far ? Lucky your Dad knows all the brick and framing work huge money saver doing everything your selfs .. super impressive with all the trade knowledge.
Hey, thanks! I'm mainly there for manual labor but I'm learning! I don't know how much up to this video, but I can tell you approximately how much up to what's done right now. 65k including shingles, siding, all new doors and windows, concrete poured in garage+basement. About an estimated 30k left to roughly finish everything up. I will make a very detailed video about the cost of this addition when it's done. I have every single cost recorded for this project.
@@DaveOTech sounds about right , after watching I'm thinking dam he basically built another house my ball park guess was 75-100k Call round on the concrete work, I know from my own personal experience I got like five quotes and they were all over the place .
WeatherWatch by GAF. Ideally you only want to use this for the first two rolls, and then shingles over everything. But because we were pressed for time, we covered the whole roof. Kept the house dry during the winter.
If you mean the garage, I'm not sure. It was part of a much larger overall addition. After we completed the addition we then completely rebuilt the inside of the existing house as well. I will have a video on that soon.
