Obviously not her first build, this may be the most impressive video that I have ever seen. Mills her own lumber, catches fish, joins wood perfectly with minimal tools, grows her own food! Wow just wow.
My feelings exactly. I worked on a concrete crew through high school and a few years after. I can certainly appreciate just how hard this woman works. Her stamina is almost inhuman. And I don't know if you noticed, but start to finish not a single pair of gloves. All of the bare hand work is impressive. But handling a shovel that much with bare hands? That's unimaginable toughness. Anyway, like you, "this may be the most impressive video that I have ever seen."

In addition to building an entire house by herself shes also filmed an entire documentary with up to 5 camera angles per scene all in raser sharp focus. I particularly enjoyed the scene at 34:20 when she carried planks of heavy wood on her motorbike, while still managing to show an under bridge, side bridge shot and road shot of her on her bike. Followed by a long shot of her reaching her newly built home, to a seemless shot of her unloading the wood. Brilliant builder, videographer and editor 👏
Its amazing how gravity in China is all you need to Hold the Roof tiles onto the Single short nailed ceiling joists and hold the whole structure down to the foundations.

В доме отсутствует пол и боковые стены до крыши не доведены, зато цветочки. Ну и да, в наших широтах строить дом на порядок сложнее. Нужен нормальный фундамент и стены как минимум, да и крыша такая,чтоб снегом не проломило. Это же домик Ниф-Нифа или у кого там волк дунул, и домик улетел.
That was amazing! I need to marry a Vietnamese girl. I thought that I worked hard....No. This woman has me beat every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'm impressed. I spent an hour watching this video, but she probably did this in real time. I loved this video. I initially thought that it was Chinse propaganda or may she was Japanese, ONLY because of the foliage and dogs and the woodworking. The Japanese know how to build a building with just wood. No nails...just the trees and your hands. That being said, this was truly awe-inspiring. What a great accomplishment by a determined woman. I wish that I knew your name "wild novels". А почему под стенами щели? Выходит не дом а беседка. На Филиппинах такие жилища в лесу поднимают высоко над землёй чтоб всякие животные не смогли залезть. Возможно плитки под основные стойки потому что будет еще черновой пол. Возможно каменный, а не деревянный. На который и пойдут средства с Ютуба. Да и вообще скорее всего это строит бригада (семья) которую мы видели во фрагментах, когда поднимали стены.
@@Ignat99Ignatov я думаю там действительно будет пол, меня больше смущает то, что они не обработали доски составом простив грибков и жуков. Хотя, возможно, нам просто в видосе не показали. Но в таком тёплом и владном климате мре кажется без обработки все оч быстро развалится

Когда рутина типа много досок напилить или кирпичей наделать - там есть 2-3 человека на подхвате. Ну цена такого сооружения на Филлипинах (Может это Камбодже и Тай я не понял но цены должны быть те же) вряд ли больше 1000 долларов. А это бюджет видеоканала за месяц. Так что могут себе позволить хоть каждый месяц пересобирать, не то что раз в 3 месяца как написано 🙂

I watch a lot of these things, people building shelters,homes but most of them you just know there are 10 people not shown who are really doing the work . This woman actually looks like she knows what she is doing. I'm very impressed. Great job!
Yeah exactly, often you know they're either faking it or there are a lot of people helping off-camera. Here it's clear she's building her house in this rural area, and sometimes she gets help and she shows it, which is logical! Some things you can't do on your own and it's fine. She does most of it by herself though, the prepping and the tedious work, and that's all commendable. Also nothing wrong with getting help. It does irk me when channels don't show they are getting help when sometimes it is obvious they had to because for some parts you'd have to be superhuman to do it by yourself, like lifting up a side frame of logs.
And you’re believing the square timbers and dimensional lumber were planed that perfect with a small hand planer? Obviously most people have never had significant experience with a hand planer. Imo they are much too exact to be hand planed. 🤷🏻♂️
SO AMAZING! I really admire your work. 2 weeks ago I tried to build a simple table without using screws or nails. It turned out to be so wobbly, that in the end I had to use screws. So seeing how everything you work on just fits so perfectly is awe inspiring. And great landscape of course. And the transport on the motorbike, lovely!!

I like wood working and carpentry,so I really enjoyed watching her build this house, her skills, and work ethics are to be admired, hope it will be a good home for her. May GOD bless her and keep her safe. This building involved lots of heavy and difficult jobs, from foundation to roof work and carrying, lifting , climbing, it a labor of love, great video.

What an amazing craftswoman! I love all, the mortice and tenon work. In my area, everything would be put together with a nail gun. She hauls material on a small motorcycle, builds her own doors and windows...and stops everything if she gets a fish on the line. Mega props to this great lady!!

Amazing skills, no doubt I have questions though: the house seems unfinished by Western standards. Missing floor with gaps as well as all the openings under the roof...are they going to be addressed? Snakes or insects aplenty. Also no plumbing. No kitchen. Electricity to the minimum due to a generator activated by current water. She takes baths in the river, does she drink from the river too? Isn't it dangerous? Really off grid. It could be that this kind of housing are more common and usual where she lives. Regardless, I admire all her skills.
In her other videos she builds some sort of a bath, and lays a wooden floor… she kills an alligator and eats it for breakfast because it got her chickens… traditional cooking… they are really interesting. I love that she shows people how to build a house, though- so cool!
Well, building stuff on a weekly basis, there is one glaring fact here, apparently she does all the work, no sweat, no blisters, no dirty clothes. You are only seeing what she wants you to see, zero chance of her doing this alone, sorry my dear I know you meen well and good luck on your projects.
You don't even realise how dumb this comment makes you look. Even if she did "only" the, work shown (and obviously you also have no clue how many hours video footage this takes), it would be unbelievable. But why don't you try to do work more than 12 hours a day, it's amazing what kind can accomplish, this is "only" 1 room, and the video shows clearly how much time passes in between, of course she goes change, wash, etc. nearby and shows the best shots, but you also see her sweating and wearing work clothes. How would you know about blisters?! But someone doing this work with such skill will already have much hardened hands obviously ....
I was simply astonished watching you work so hard on just those footings and the floor before you even began raising the rest of the house. I could never. Smart, strong, capable and resourceful is everything you need to live your best life. Brava, sister!
Were the beams and other hand hewned wood dried? The tongue and groved purchased wood probably was. Also how is the house tied into the foundation by weight alone? Amazing craftswomanship and work ethic! I never saw a mitre saw. To keep everything plumb by eye is incredible. A generator, a few electric and non electric hand tools, a chain saw, a few lights a wheel barrel and a scooter!
Why is there a space left between the floor & the frame of the house and the top part. Snakes and other creatures can come into the the dwelling. I can understand ventilation but electric fans are great. JA.

SO AMAZING! I really admire your work. 2 weeks ago I tried to build a simple table without using screws or nails. It turned out to be so wobbly, that in the end I had to use screws. So seeing how everything you work on just fits so perfectly is awe inspiring. And great landscape of course. And the transport on the motorbike, lovely!!

Такие умелые и четкие действия мастерицы не всякий мужик может сделать. Я так же сам строил свой дачный двухэтажный домик с гаражом и сараем, и так же освещал своё место работы когда темнело.

What an amazing craftswoman! I love all, the mortice and tenon work. In my area, everything would be put together with a nail gun. She hauls material on a small motorcycle, builds her own doors and windows...and stops everything if she gets a fish on the line. Mega props to this great lady!!

Amazing skills, no doubt I have questions though: the house seems unfinished by Western standards. Missing floor with gaps as well as all the openings under the roof...are they going to be addressed? Snakes or insects aplenty. Also no plumbing. No kitchen. Electricity to the minimum due to a generator activated by current water. She takes baths in the river, does she drink from the river too? Isn't it dangerous? Really off grid. It could be that this kind of housing are more common and usual where she lives. Regardless, I admire all her skills.
In her other videos she builds some sort of a bath, and lays a wooden floor… she kills an alligator and eats it for breakfast because it got her chickens… traditional cooking… they are really interesting. I love that she shows people how to build a house, though- so cool!

Well, building stuff on a weekly basis, there is one glaring fact here, apparently she does all the work, no sweat, no blisters, no dirty clothes. You are only seeing what she wants you to see, zero chance of her doing this alone, sorry my dear I know you meen well and good luck on your projects.
You don't even realise how dumb this comment makes you look. Even if she did "only" the, work shown (and obviously you also have no clue how many hours video footage this takes), it would be unbelievable. But why don't you try to do work more than 12 hours a day, it's amazing what kind can accomplish, this is "only" 1 room, and the video shows clearly how much time passes in between, of course she goes change, wash, etc. nearby and shows the best shots, but you also see her sweating and wearing work clothes. How would you know about blisters?! But someone doing this work with such skill will already have much hardened hands obviously ....
I was simply astonished watching you work so hard on just those footings and the floor before you even began raising the rest of the house. I could never. Smart, strong, capable and resourceful is everything you need to live your best life. Brava, sister!
Were the beams and other hand hewned wood dried? The tongue and groved purchased wood probably was. Also how is the house tied into the foundation by weight alone? Amazing craftswomanship and work ethic! I never saw a mitre saw. To keep everything plumb by eye is incredible. A generator, a few electric and non electric hand tools, a chain saw, a few lights a wheel barrel and a scooter!

Why is there a space left between the floor & the frame of the house and the top part. Snakes and other creatures can come into the the dwelling. I can understand ventilation but electric fans are great. JA.
