I used to nanny 3 kids and every once in awhile when their mom had an evening out, I would invite all the kids in the neighborhood and host a movie night. I remember showing them the Home Alone movies. The laughter and joy those nights were so wonderful!
John Candy is one of those few actors who instantly makes me happy every time he shows up in a movie ☺️ His funeral home story makes me laugh no matter how many times I watch this movie, lol.
me its a unique compared to many 1. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer 2. Charlie Brown CHristmas 3. Garfields Christmas 4. Home Alone 2 Lost in New York 5. Home Alone 6. Year without a Santa Clause 7. Santa Clause is coming to town 8. Santa Claus - Tim Allen 9. Ernest Saves Christmas 10. Frosty The Snowman
I volunteered this Christmas season at a santa stage as an elf/helper. It's so wholesome when kids still believe. I didn't see any spoiled ones either. A lot of them were shy with Santa though, so it's nice the guy playing Santa was a good talker to make the kids more comfortable. Anyways, I support the lie of Santa. It just makes life a little less boring. Also, merry belated Christmas!
I know a lot of people say Home Alone 1 and 2 are the only good ones, but I always liked Home Alone 3. That is how u do a Home Alone movie with a different character
Personally, I always preferred Home Alone 2 over the first one. Regardless, this is a Christmas classic and I hope you get to react to HA2 next year, if not sooner!
Home Alone 1 & 2 are definitely at the top of my Christmas favorites. Without those two, my top 3 Christmas/holiday movies are It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th (the original B&W version), and While You Were Sleeping, with Sandra Bullock.
What kind of miscreants don't consider this a Christmas movie? I've heard that about Die Hard, It's a Wonderful Life, and The Nightmare Before Christmas but never this.
I just started watching a new GOT reactor (Legendbarry), episode 2, his chair fell backwards...Reminded me of you, breaking all your equipment & jumping around. I may have to watch a 2nd round of your GOT reactions...Patreon Style😊
We watched this movie this month and it was really a good one! 👍 Also a fun story to tell you: when watching this movie for the VERY FIRST time, and when watching the booby trap scene, my mom said she was laughing *SO HARD* that she thought she was going to pee her pants! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kevin gave a great advice to the old man the Truth is life is to short to not talk to love ones we never know when anyone's last day will be to be alive If they die n we decided not to talk to them when they were alive we will regret it for our rest of our life
In 1990 or 1991, I took my three year old to the grocery store to pick up a few items. He is sitting in the child seat of the shopping cart as we go through checkout. I give the 18 year old cashier a twenty, and my son says "keep the change you filthy animal"! The boy had obviously not seen the movie. I did not say anything; I just collected my change and got out of there!
You’re right with just 1 and 2. I was 6 when Home Alone came out, and 8 for the sequel. These are 2 of my fav movies ever & I watch them on Christmas Eve back to back. Quoting every line. I was so gutted with part 3, its just not the same. There’s 5 kids, Kev has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Also worth seeing Uncle Buck with Culkin and John Candy (the yellow jacket guy) & Planes, Trains & Automobiles!
@@marklouis1890 The third one and 5th one is fine to me. The fourth one is absolute garbage, and I can tell you why. It has Kevin as the main character again but played by a different actor, and the movie pretends the second movie never happened, and that's blasphemy!
Merry christmas , I know you're mad at your pops but you really need to call him As a father of two i've been spoken to my daughter for a while And it's always nice to hear from him no matter if you hate any of your parents You really need to adjust the talk to them you'll regret it later my man
My top 3 are, it's a wonderful life, the grinch with Jim Carrey and a Christmas Story. Happy holidays and may you have a blessed year. Home alone 2 is better imo.
Who on Earth would say Home Alone wasn't a Christmas movie? Stay away from drugs people. Don't smoke crazy pills.🤣 People always debating over Die Hard though.
Fantastic you say about good people in the world with John candy. My partner found an expensive phone on pavement and boy called acting all hard - Yoh you got my phone . My partner took it back and turned out he new his mum from work .. so greatful there is humanity you just don’t hear about it xxx
Personally I have all of the home alone movies and the only one I don't like is Taking Back the House. And that is because they have it being Kevin like 10 years later and 2 years younger and also far shorter than he was in the first one. That part seriously ruins it, Kevin would have been a teenager when they did Taking Back the House.

The fact is that it's not part of the script, and he adlibed the whole story on the spot, which makes it so much better
Batman returns is my favorite Christmas movie. The very last line in that movie is Merry Christmas.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Elf, and A Christmas Story. ❤ Great reaction! 😂😂
I saw this in the theater when I was 13. One of my favorite Christmas movies!

I'm waiting on the kraft mac and cheese comment that one dude post on EVERY Home Alone reaction.
I gotta keep a look out lol
Not to be "that person" but it always bothered me as a kid that he didn't touch the mac and cheese. It looked delicious!

As a "90's Kid" no this wasn't even close to being the most watched movie. It was overrated then & damn sure is now that I'm an adult.
