Thx for the comment. Yeah this is really impressive. Especially for the money. I’ve. Second demo of it going up tomorrow where I demonstrate how to use presets live. Unreal stuff. Works so well.
@@TheGuitarEffect I'm really leaning to try it out. I use Neural dsps plugins, so have a preference to the QC. BUT i cant justify the cost (yet...). THis seems to be a great start :) Looking forward to the next video
Thx for the comment. Yeah I can’t lie, the colour scheme was a massive part of me buying it! Hares a video about it if you are interested: th-cam.com/video/EaW2vCfHF40/w-d-xo.html
This is great timing, I happened to record my very own review of the original matribox which will be out on Tuesday 😂😂😂 seems like the II had a bit more functionality which takes it to that next level
Great review. I just placed an order. I’ll be using it with the Focusrite 4i4. I also have a pedal board so I figure the guitar from the pedalboard to the input on the Matribox II and the Left mono to the 4i4. The 4i4 is connected to my Macbook via it’s USB output. Thanks again for the review.
Hey Bob. Thx for the comment I also run the 4i4. I’ve made another video where I demonstrate how to integrate the matribox 2 into a pedalboard. Might be useful.
I just checked out the Gig video and if I caught the setup correctly, you have the Matribox II output connected to your 4i4 via the balanced stereo outputs to inputs 3&4. Did I get that right? Thanks.
I was hoping you’d give a little more insight on how you have your control switches setup. For instance, I was curious as to why you have white lights on them when selecting between patches. I poked around my own unit (that I just got) and I see that you can set them to switch between Patch A, Patch B, Patch C….instead of just + or -.
Hey. Thx for the comment. In the global menu there is a switches window where you can control what both the on board switches do and the external switch. It’s very straightforward to set up.
Hello, how are you? 😁I like this pedal board. I want to buy it. Do you recommend it? Which do you think are the best sounds and simulations and which are the worst or features that can be improved? Is nux mg 30 better? thank you🎸, 😎
Hey. Thx for the comment. I don’t really feel it does one amp sim better than any other. That are all really good. The effects are all useable but not at the standard of the HX effects for example. But useable nonetheless. The only feature it’s missing for me is MIDI PC out. Which I was surprised is not there. But it turns out it’s not present in any of the budget multi effect units on the market. I would say it’s pretty much on a par with the MG30. However the MG30 doesn’t have MIDI in or out.
@@TheGuitarEffect Thank you very much for answering😎, according to the internet this pedalboard has more effects than the nux mg 30 but of lower quality, is that true? Which one is the acoustic simulation part better? thank you very much again😁😎🎸
Hey. I don’t use acoustic sims so I can’t answer that. I have just received the NUX trident which I think has more processing power than the MG30. I don’t necessarily think the effects sound clearly better than the matribox 2 but I’d still say neither can compete with the HX effects for effect quality
@@TheGuitarEffect I'm looking for an easy-to-use pedalboard with good versatile tones at a good price, thank you very much for responding 🎸 excellent channel😎👌🎸
This is the best demo for this unit, thank you for doing this!! Can we use external footswitch for the tap tempo? I'm planning to buy this unit but can't find any demo talking about the tap tempo. Thanks again!! Cheers!!.
Hey. Thx for the comment and the kind words. Much appreciated. I’m not certain of you can use the footswitch for tap tempo and the board with this on it is at my studio. But I’d say it’s 99% you can.
@@TheGuitarEffect I got the zoom g5n a couple of years ago .. but I'm not using it . Keep picking up the acoustic.. the electric guitar is in its case .. one of these days I'll get around to it .. 😎
I came close to buying a G3 a few times. They make good stuff. They’re kinda the OG for budget guitar processors too. Dig it out it’ll be a bit of fun!
Sorry I am new to all these I have a boss Me-80 it does not have send and return . as this one does have send and return does it make sense to use them together? Boss Me-80 reverb and delay is nice .
Hey. Thx for the comment. I’m not familiar with the dinner so I couldn’t comment on a preference. But I can say this is a very impressive little pedal.
best review video on this unit, thanks mate. I'm sold.
Ah thx! What a lovely comment. It’s a brilliant box. Enjoy.
Your videos on this unit are really well done. Thanks!
Thx for the comment. Glad you find them useful.
Thanks for the review! man this space of modelers is getting crazy :)

Great playing, but also I love the look of that tele! The like Olympic white with the mint guard and the rosewood fretboard!

A great video, thanks a bunch, Rob. Just what I need to decide if I want this or the original Matribox. Subbed and proceeding to watch Part 2 :)

Pretty Cool unit. Cool review man!

Actually it was to inputs one and two (just cause I have my amp and compressor in 3 and 4) but I did set the inputs to line on both.
Great review.
Thx. Glad you enjoyed it

No absolutely fine to do. The ME80 will s just a very large delay and reverb pedal!!!
