Johan was my favorite singer. Candlemass was never the same after his departure. Messiah sounded like Carmine from Lavern and Shirley. Leif Edling sounded more like Johan when Candlemass was known as Nemesis. God I wish I still had that tape...
If only he still sing for candlemass .... a true talent .... would have been king of kings ..... I think he regret not to continue singing for candlemass
Johan had a great screamy voice tune in the Epicus years but now he can't scream anymore, it seems he lost his scream ability during years. What a waste he didn't sing vocals in whole discography while his voice was still good.

this happens to most singers as they age and strain their vocal chords. Johan's best quality was his baritone voice imo.
