Messiah did a nice job, but nothing beats Längquist. The vocals should be tormented and filled with anguish, not operatic and almost over-the-top. I had the fortune to go see Candlemass with Längquist last year. It was just amazing.
Don't matter what you think about Mesiah, he could emulate Johan's voice pretty well while mantaining his own style. If Johan is the best, Mesiah is not that down far from him.
This was when Marcolin really was a Doom Metal God! Last time I saw him live was in 2002, and I could not stand it. He looked and acted just like a bouncy clown. Did not fit to the music at all. He was technically the best vocalist Candlemass ever had, but I think it is better now that they are without him.
