DIY Niacinamide Facial Serum (Vitamin B3)

Good Day
Simple recipe today, how to make your own niacinamide (vitamin B3) serum. Only with few ingredients.
Formula %/ Recipe g (20g)
10%/ 2g - Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
84.5%/ 16.9g - Distilled Water
5%/ 1g - Vegetable Glycerine
0.5%/ 0.1g - Cosgard Preservative

Hi, you can use any broad spectrum preservative. But but 100% water based ingredients I like to use water soluble preservatives

Hi, Sure! It depends how much of the product you wanna make it. For example: if you wanna make 50g of serum with 5% niacinamide, then you will need to ad 2.5g of niacinamide.
Formula: 5(%)/100 x 50(g) = 2.5(g)

Hi Girl, It does suit my skin, I have oily, combination skin. No side effects, if you like more kind of gel consistency add some gum to it.

Hi, you still will need a preservative, darling.
If you will be creating anything which is includes any form of water, better buy a broad spectrum preservative.

You can, but then it will last you only about 3 days, if you keep in a fridge, after that a bacteria will develop.

This works best in oil based products. This serum is water based, try to find a preservative which is water soluble.
